When a thought is lost it’s if you don’t know where you’re going or if you should be where you are? For that thought could have opened a new door to opportunity or made you remember to get the keys for it to open.  In today’s world where smart phone’s follow us around there is less chance for such thoughts to be forgotten unless we forget where we put them.

“National Beer Day” should never be allowed to come out on work day therefore I’ve extended it till today.  That’s right enjoy all the privileged and rights you deserve the day before for one more day in a more relaxed atmosphere. Who I am to make such a ruling “Bud Rebel” need I say more.  Enjoy the day and if you’re so inclined Sunday is fine as well.

 Is it right to write when you don’t know who if anyone will actually read it? Is it a waste of time if you spend hours putting your thoughts on paper or a screen that just stays in the air?  Many might say that the hours I spend on this blog could be better spent on a different projects that are more “productive” and maybe they’re right yet this writing has allowed me to open my heart and soul in ways that I couldn’t express any other way.  Which I believe has made me a better person beyond this screen into the “real world” and who knows where the legacy of my writing might go. Maybe it will give someone hope, a laugh, education or a new opportunity that might far outlast me or maybe it’s just a moment to live in the world as I want it written.

President Trump has said “Never Again” (at least today) for humanity, by his strong stance against the vicious brutality of innocence by the Syrian Dictator. The President’s decision to launch Tomahawk Missiles against Syrian air force basis makes it more difficult for this monster of a leader to use his chemical weapons stockpiles against men, women and children again. Too often in the past we have said never again after the brutality has occurred whether it was not bombing train stations and/or gas chambers in Nazi Germany, ignoring the killing fields that Pol Pot created, watching as genocide occurred in Rwanda or the past 6 years of the killing in Syria the world community has waited till after the maimed and death could be counted.  Today a leader has stood up for humanity and decided not under his watch should such open and brutal death of innocence occur without a strong response.  These actions create fear in other evil dictators around the world (North Korea, Iran etc) who would normally use such evil methods to enslave their own people.   For one day let even the deepest haters of Trump see the victory he has made not just for the United States but innocent human lives as a whole.

President Trump knows the United States has the upper hand when dealing with China but we’ve been holding the cards back for too long until today when the two leaders meet head to head.  Xi Jinping should realize that his entire economy is based on a strong United States presence that the President could hold back on if China doesn’t finally reign in North Korea and have more balanced trading with the United States. It will be difficult negotiations but when you’re dealing with the creator of “Art of the Deal” Xi Jinping better understand there is a new leader in town and he’s dealing and remember the dealer always wins.
