The smile-A continuing story

Emily Clarke

It was just an ordinary 9-5 day until I saw her smile. Was it directed at me or someone from the distance? It happened in a split second but lingered throughout my day. All of sudden her smile led to seeing teeth and lips in a way that I’ve never

Met’s VS Cubs- Late Conversions accepted

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Sports - No Comments

Met's Vs Cubs  NY Mets

Yankee, Dodger, or hockey fans can make a last minute conversion to the NY Met’s up till 7:45 PM tonight. The game starts at 8:05 PM and you have to say M-E-T-S Mets, Mets, Mets slogan three times and be sprinkled with some beer for this to occur.  Those who decide to become more traditional fans will have to wear the attire including a Met’s insignia cap, shirt and jacket (some groups will accept the Jacket & Hat alone).   For it is not when you make your conversion but how loud and excited you will be that will determine whether you’re accepted into our family.   By the way some of the reform minded will accept conversion up to (G-D willing) the last out of the World Series.  It’s time you join us we may not save your soul but at least you’ll have some more fun in October.

Accomplishments & Failures

success failures

As  I reach a cornerstone of my life I believe it’s a time for reflections. I hope sharing these accomplishments and failures with others will inspire them to shoot for the stars and when they get burned to keep shooting. Some will be mundane for many but truly inspired me to take the next step or fall into a hole. While others will appear to be ground breaking or at least cut the surface yet didn’t have an impact till much later in my life.  I thank G-D for all the accomplishments for without G-D I wouldn’t have the  very breath and friends, family/ associates that made these dreams possible.  Hopefully I also will continue to keep those dreams alive even if time takes some of that dreaming away from me.

Met’s Win!!! – A fan’s perspective

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Sports - No Comments

Met's Win   NY Mets

If you are a true Orange & Blue blood Met’s Fan the Met’s already won.  I’m not just talking about the awesome win last night against the Dodgers 3-2  )which allowed them to take the playoff series but just the end of the regular season. For we Met’s fan who seen the ladder removed from us just as we were climbing, take nothing for granted (see below).

(1) Making the playoffs- Would have been enough- SCOOP OF DELICIOUS ICE CREAM

(2) Coming in 1st place- Would have been enough-  HOT FUDGE

(3) Winning a Playoff game at home- Would have been enough- MARSH MELLOW

(4) Winning a Playoff Series- Would have been enough- HOT BROWNIE

(5) Winning the Division- Would have been enough- WHIPPED CREAM

(6) Winning the World Series- CHERRY ON TOP

Let’s go Met’s !!!

Noah righteous for his times

Noah

louie depalma

For those who remember the “Taxi” television show there was a nasty character named Louie Depalama who wanted to turn good but in the end he wasn’t able to meet his mark.  His friend Alex Reiger said maybe not being as nasty as normal is what  G-D wants of him. The story of Noah gives an example of how that is so when it is said “Noah was righteous for his time”.  I therefore believe this demonstrates that G-D has given us individual goals based on our time and what is our genealogy as such we will be judged accordingly. What is good for one may not be good enough for another so let us strive to be as good as we individually can be.

MLB Baseball Playoffs- Reserved Runs

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Sports - No Comments

MLB PLAYOFFS

Wouldn’t it make baseball more exciting if during the playoffs a team could take the extra runs they scored in one of their previous playoff games and add it to one of the games they were losing just to allow it to become a tie. For example the Met’s beat the Dodgers 13-7 in game 3 of the playoffs they could use the extra 6 runs to allow the following game which they lost 3-1 to become a tie (yes they would lose 3 runs) or instead hold onto those runs for tonight’s game so if they were losing they could add it that game. This way the extra runs scored in a previous game could actually mean something and at the same time not allow one bad game decide a series.  Just a thought from a confident Met fan that would like to a bit more confident in tonight’ s game.

Lamar Oden & Lindsey Graham- Fame Addiction

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

Republican Presidential Candidates

Lamar Oden

What does Lamar Oden & Lindsey Graham have in common …Fame Addiction.  While they might have taken completely different steps they both have sought the thrill of attention for as long as they could even when it was only hurting them.  Of course Lindsey Graham and those on the bottom of the Republican Presidential field aren’t doing anything to hurt their bodies but they are definitely hurting their cash flow with little in return. Yet they continue to battle a helpless campaign for the bits of fame that come along the way.

Lamar Oden’s effort to continue to live the famous life have put his very existence on hold as he battles with every breath.  Leaving the fame of the NBA Court he jumped into Kardashian fame but that wasn’t enough to keep this drug going.  His attempt to be a superstar in the bed and be treated as such was the cause of this reckless behavior that has put his life in jeoparday.

“Fame Addiction” is a serious problem for those who had the spotlight and then watch it dim. Some will become so addicted that they will throw out all values to keep it alive.  Once the spotlight hits them for whatever reason it is if they have a high that can’t be replaced and then it dims and they’ll need another fix.  Like many addictions counseling on what truly is important can help with recovery but it will be a battle those once in the spotlight will have to endure throughout their life.

Deep Animal Questions

Monkey Thinking Monkey thinking 2

Here (below) are some deep animal questions that many have thought about but have they been answered? You will ponder about these answers at least until you have a real question.

(1) Do monkey’s throw banana peels on the ground so another monkey will trip?

(2) Which cheese to mouse’s prefer Cheddar or Swiss?

(3) If an alligator had a choice to eat a man or a woman what would it be?

(4) Did a lobster every find a way to escape a boiling pot of water?

(5) When a deer sees another deer hit by a car does it warn his friends to go the opposite way?

No Bra Day- Exemptions

No Bra Day

Today is “No Bra Day” to raise awareness of Breast Cancer but I ask that the following exceptions (below) be made for these individuals to continue wearing a bra. I of course will continue to go bra less as I due 365 days a year to keep people aware and they don’t have a bra in my sex.

(1) Any woman over 250.

(2) A woman who sags to their knees.

(3) Those over 55 years old.

(4) Woman who have a mustache or other facial hair.

(5) A woman who has a cup size of B or less.

Thank you for your consideration.

Democratic Debate- 1 Stood

Democratic Debate

After watching the Democratic Debate (as much as my stomach and blood pressure allowed me) only one candidate was truly worthy of being on the stage. You might say my judgement is clouded being a Tea Party Conservative but I base my judgement not on issues only on what should be important to all American’s. Here (below) is how I eliminated those on the field and found one one person standing.

(1) ALL THE PEOPLE– A question was raised whether “black life’s matter or all life’s matter”. If you are seeking the Presidency of the United States you will be employed by all the people black, white, yellow and a combination of colors so the obvious answer is all life’s. Martin O’Malley point blank said black life’s.

(2) COMPETENCE- An individual who doesn’t understand the risk of having a private server in their home and using it for personal and business doesn’t have the competence to be President of the United States.  Sorry Hillary.

(3) MADE A MISTAKE- A person who doesn’t have the ability to say they made a mistake and continues to try to defend their actions when they believe that they were wrong is unworthy of this office. Mr. Chaffee needs to leave this stage.

(4) WORLD THREAT– Any candidate who believes the greatest threat our nation is currently facing is Global Warming doesn’t truly comprehend reality. Mr. Sander’s maybe you should run for President of Amsterdam or Denmark instead.

The only Democratic Candidate worthy of any attention therefore is Jim Webb an articulate serious candidate who knows the issues and has some logic defending them.

jim Webb

Although your the best of the Democratic party I’m Sorry Jim but I’ll be standing with the Grand Old Party’s nominee instead because issues matter to me.
