If you’re tired of looking for that matching sock “Rebel Sock” might just be the answer. “Rebel Sock” is the socks that decide to shock the establishment! Not only do these socks not look identical but they totally contrast for example while one sock is white the other sock is purposely black, or one sock is blue the other sock is red, one has the peace symbol while the other has F-15 Tomcat’s on it. If you decide you don’t want to be so rebellious for the day you can still where “Light Rebel Socks” where the socks have the same colors or patterns on just in different sequences. Of course with the success of “Rebel Socks” comes other apparel such as pants and shirts will follow. If you want your true rebellious side to come out it’s time for “Rebel Socks”.
You’re famous either as a hero or villian.
We have left a mark on so many people either through their heart (or other organ) or the derriere. They remember you when you might have thought that you were long gone from their mind because of an incident that suddenly comes up or by reflecting on a special moment in their life. You might believe that it’s been years or even decades but how many of us can remember that kind teacher who pushed us further then we believed we could go (Mrs. Issac for me) or that bully that knocked down our books (Ricky Lackner). It doesn’t matter how far we come and where we end up the impressions we leave last many different lifetimes.
Accredited Vacation
Imagine going on a vacation to France and still receiving an accredited education on wines. How about traveling to Hollywood California and enjoying all the sites while receiving an Accredited Film Credited. ACCREDITED VACATIONS insure that you’re trip is fun but also metorious because you will be receiving a skill that you lacked before your trip. What makes these vacations so exciting is that from the moment you enter the plane your education will begin as a Professor will start their first lesson (hopeful without a surprise exam). These classes will be mostly hands on training with knowledge absorbed from the five senses not just from the ink pad. “ACCREDITED VACATIONS” will work with various colleges to insure that their accreditations are fully acceptable at most colleges. You may not become a professor in a weeks vacation but at least you’ll have a great time and receive credit for it. So isn’t it time education was truly fun isn’t it time for an ACCREDITED VACATIONS”? Here are a few classes (below) I would love to take.
(1) BASIC ZOOLOGY- Taught at Berlin Zoological Gardens
(2) BASIC ALTERNATE THERAPY- At the Good Samaritan Medical Center- Chihuahua,Mexico
(3) JEWISH MYSTICISM in Jerusalem, Israel
(4) ART THEORY- Taught at the Museum of Metropolitan Art in NYC and then followed by a trip to Louvre in Paris, France
(5) SPICE THEORY- Taught at the Farms in Northern India.
Wall Street Journal Weekend Edition – December 6th-BLEAK NEWS
Maybe it was the continual rain outside my window for this weekend I decided to report on the bleak news from the weekend edition of the “Wall Street” . The ironic part is this must be the most optimistic weekend edition I ever encountered. Here (below) are a just a few of the bleak stories that I encountered.
(1) There is new renewed fighting in Kashmir the providence that separates to Nuclear nations India and Pakistan.
(2) Germany’s Ex-Communist are rising in their political power and popularity.
(3) Shiite Militia groups are using ISIS brutality in the war they are fighting including killing P.O.W’s. This might not appear to be bad news for they are fighting ISIS but they have a similar hate of the West as does ISIS and are willing to utilize savage methods to gain power.
(4) Africa’s strongmen dictators are rising in power and are a threat to the weak democracies in this continent.
I Understand.
I have not walked in your shoes but have walked in sneakers that have made similar footprints. It is true that I have not lived in the community you are from, or struggled in the work environment you have had to deal with but those are locations on a map not locations in the heart. Here are a just a sample of those footprints that have left their mark.
(1) SADNESS- Over the loss of loved one who left our family way to early.

Ferguson Cure = Community Policing
The key to having a police force that is responsive to it’s locality without appearing extra aggressive is community policing. Here are some of the factors that would need to be formed to insure this works.
1. INFORMED- The police force have to know all the different players in the community and therefore understand who to speak to when a problem should arise.
2. LISTENING- This force must take the time and effort to listen to the various members of it’s community be they business, civil or the student attending high school. Attend their school functions, visit the businesses, walk into a senior citizen center and ask questions then listen
(3) JUSTICE- Justice must of course be served but it can be served at a slower pace so those in the community understand that every effort was made to resolve an issue before force was utilized.
(4) COURTS- Community policing must extend to the justice system where all court proceedings including the grand jury are open to public scrutiny but still protect the privacy of the witnesses when need be.
(5) ACTION- Those that where the uniform must show that uniform in a warm way. Whether it be helping coach a sports team or serving lemonade at a street fair small actions of generosity can go a long way to building trust.
(6) INVOLVEMENT- Not only should the police force actively seek recruits from the neighborhood it patrols but also have them involved in neighborhood watch programs and even trained in self defense programs as well.
Treat Enemies
There are different ways to treat your “enemies” based on if they say something or act in such a manner. Many times you can overwhelm your enemy with kindness and affection which breaks their hate to you. We see that as Jacob offers gifts and affection to Esau after their difficult past. Yet Jacob realizes that these gestures of kindness may not be enough so he prays to G-D for his protection through this difficult path and prepares to separate his family to protect them if war is called upon. His act of kindness and pray do work with Esau and there reunion is peaceful. On the other hand Shechem offers peaceful offering after violating his daughter Dinah. In response Jacob’s children pretend to accept the offer only to seek swift and final retribution on Shechem and his family. This shows that certain actions can’t be paid off to be forgiven but that justice must be the verdict. In retrospect there are certain enemies we can offer an Olive Branch but others who because of their actions demand the rod instead.
Junk Mail
I’m bombarded with a continual flow of junk mail. It’s one of the worries that I have when I go on any vacation how much junk will accumulate upon my return. I know I could throw most of it directly in file 11 (garbage pail) but lately I’ve been enticed with those free giveaways that make me look twice and then maybe a third time while more mail continues to seep in through the door. What makes it more difficult is you have to sort out the important mail from the junk and sometimes if you’re in a throw out mood one of the good pieces could slip into file 11 (I never got the bill). I guess it serves one major purpose if I’m every lonely I could take a few hours or day just going through the pieces I didn’t throw out.
Business….fun?
Yes, business can be fun but it takes some work and creativity. The truth is that the first day that a business opens (although chaotic) can be loads of fun because everything is new and exciting but once it becomes too routine the excitement can drain out. I recently saw this first hand when I went to a restaurant called “Moe’s”. When it first opened there were lines out the door and everyone greeted the customer with enthusiasm but after the first few weeks the tables were left in a mess and the customers were treated less then courteously. Therefore it’s important to add something new and exciting to your business on a regular basis. It could be the addition of new products, or a new setup or even the way you deal with your customers and/or help whatever it is add something fresh that makes the day more exciting and interesting. Although creating something new might not add much in additional profits on it’s own, the excitement it will ad will offset those costs. For those that find there work filled with fun will be better employees and that will result in better returns for everyone.
