STOP Nixovocation of Trump

Let Donald Trump be Donald Trump instead of trying to please everyone or stop him from being Nixofied.  Richard Nixon tried so hard to be liked by everyone by feeding bureaucracies such as the EPA and ending an unpopular war without victory that he ended up being hated by most. I fear that Donald Trump is starting to move in such directions as he is changing his position on Global Warming and saying he rather see the investigation in Hillary Clinton’s “alleged abuses of power” (alleged is used in a polite way) ended all to try and make the liberal elite happy.  If these are positions you are taking because of some insight well then profess such knowledge. I also understand it’s important to try and bring the country together even those that disagree but not at the point of having separate standards of justice for those in power and the rest of us.  It’s benevolent to feel sympathy for the loss of an opponent but a political loss shouldn’t stop the truth allow your justice department to do what’s right not what’s political correct.

Donald listen to me they will never be happy with you as long as there is even a hint of an R in front they will continue to attack you.  Maybe they will give you some space but that space is only they’re so they can set a trap.  You might feel I’m being a bit paranoid but I’ve seen this news story written over and over again history must’n repeat itself this time. You have pledged to drain the swamp don’t put a plug in it before you even start.

I want to thank the cast of Hamilton for saving me the $$ by not worrying about running and buying tickets to this fabulous show. Their little political correct diatribe “”We are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our friends, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights,” by cast member Dixon will allow my monies to fund other artist achievements 1st that aren’t so blatantly biased against an administration that was voted on by the same American people he says it represents.  Mr. Dixon fear isn’t reality and shouldn’t be expressed as such.  There will be a day  when I will see the show Hamilton but that will be many, many years after the Trump administration has made America great again.

Trump Successe1- Neutral-& Disappointment…so far

President Elect Donald Trump has started building his administration with gusto that many in the mainstream media have downplayed if not moved off the front lines. Here are just a few of those moves which were successful, neutral and even one that is negative.

SUCCESS

  1. AMERICAN JOBS STAY- Ford suddenly reversed course and agreed to keep their plant up and running in Kentucky instead of moving it to Mexico. This   saved thousands of well paying American jobs. It appears fairly obvious that the the threat of tariffs that President Elect Trump promised on those cars if they came from Mexico was the prime factor in sealing this deal.
  2. CABINET PICKS-  Donald Trump has rapidly added high quality members to his administration at much faster pace then his many of his predecessors.
  3. TONE- The President Elect’s tone has been measured and open as he has met with many of those who opposed him during the election and even considered putting them on his team (ex Mitt Romney, Nikki Haley, Ted Cruz etc)
  4. FOREIGN POLICY- The  President Elect has had more conversations with foreign leaders at this juncture then many of his predecessors combined.
  5. DAY ONE-  Leaders of Donald Trump’s  transition team are meeting with leaders of various departments way before taking power so they will be ready to act on day 1.

NEUTRAL

  1. SETTLING LAWSUIT- The  settlement of the Trump University allows President Elect Trump to focus his time & energy on what is best for the country not personal matters but also might invite other lawsuits to occur.

NEGATIVE

  1. NO INTERVIEW-  It would have been nice for me and Kanye (see previous blog) to be invited to an interview for a position in the White House.  There’s still time I’ll keep my calendar open.

Trumps silent partner- Jared Kushner

Sometimes those in the background wield most of the power in the world of politics, as Jared Kushner appears to illustrate.  We in the public don’t hear Mr. Kushner speak up but it appears his silence is heard by the President Elect.  His talents in exercising this power can exercise certain individuals (ex Chris Christie) from their power card and make him the ace of spades. Was it revenge for Christie’s prosecution of this father that took him down we may never know but the silence is deafening.  Even the walks with Kushner along the White House permit er are filled with key officials in power which help solidify his strength.  Jared Kushner he might be the one to watch even if he is the one card that is hidden from the deck.

FEAR

fear

Political opponents are great at creating fear toward the opposing camp(s) but be careful what you sow because it might harvest in the wrong way.  It is important that you put out some warning barriers to prevent your opponent from jumping past decency but if they don’t go in that direction will anyone trust you again? How many times will you complain the sky is falling before nobody  is actual looks up when an asteroid comes crashing down?   Fear is a powerful emotion to rally your base and raise $$’s but if nothing bares fruit you will be left cold and alone  in no time with only the most extreme elements standing by you.

Stephen Bannon pick raises question on FREE SPEECH

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Political - No Comments

stephen-bannon

Donald’s Trump pick of Stephen Bannon as “Strategist” in his new administration is controversial because of the voices he let speak from his  alt right network. Which raises the question is it best to silence hate or allow all discussions to occur? If we silence hate do we expect it to go away or is it just kept in a boiling pot ready to explode in violence? At the same time allowing hate speech to occur without a challenge enables that evil to spread throughout a community. Therefore I believe we should allow all voices to be heard even the most despicable as long as we make sure that a strong honest counter argument is heard to dismantle that hate. This opinion comes from a person who has broken up friendships with individuals because they have not only used hateful racist words but actual meant those words.

Trumps 1st moves- RIGHT ON TARGET

trump-on-60-minutes

Donald Trumps 1st moves as President Elect show he is up and more then ready for the position.  Here are just a few of the noted moves he’s made and he hasn’t even moved in.

(1)  Reince Priebes as Chief of Staff is a brilliant play. As the leader of the RNC Reince interactively knows all the decision makers on his and the other side as well as their motivating factors for change. Many also owe him a favor or two along their paths.

(2) Stephen Bannon as Strategist is just the man to clean the swamp.  He truly understands how the taxpayer feels that they are being ripped off and has followed the pieces to see where this sewer leads.

(3) NO SALARY– Donald Trump has said that he won’t take a salary for his position as President or I guess donate it if it comes his way. Which already is a signal he’s serious about cutting unnecessary expenses even if it comes from his pocket.

(4) 60 MINUTES INTERVIEW– Daring to start his first interview as President Elect on this liberal media beacon shows he is trying to reach out to those who didn’t vote for him for their support and wants to be everyone’s President.

(5)  CUT OUT VACATIONS– The President Elect shows his seriousness for the job ahead as he puts his vacation time on hold until the job of being the people’s President is accomplished.

Donald Trump pick for the Supreme Court

donald-trump-victory ted-cruz-4

Based on how my recent political predictions have gone I will tell you that Donald Trump will not pick Ted Cruz for the Supreme Court. He’ll probably go with Barrack Obama. My other recent political picks included Hillary Clinton winning the President and Marco Rubio being the Republican nominee so I hope I do as well with this prediction.  Ted Cruz would be his best choice for the following reasons (below) and therefore I won’t change my prediction.

(1) Ted Cruz is known as a Constitutionalist who is not only verse with the subtext but many of the commentaries as well.

(2) If Mr. Cruz is selected he won’t be a thorn in Donald Trump’s attempt to pass legislation that might be very controversial and also won’t be a problem if Donald Trump decides to seek re-election in 4 years.

(3) Legislators have a history of supporting other legislators who have jumped to the judicial branch. Which will make this pick much easier for confirmation purposes.

(4) It doesn’t appear that Senator Cruz has many skeleton’s in the closet that could derail his nomination as revealed during his run for the Republican Presidential campaign.

(5) Even if he’s not accepted by the Senate he’ll owe Donald Trump a favor which can be called on at anytime.

(6) It’s the fight that conservatives would want to have enduring them to his Presidency when he might make moderate decisions in the future.

2016 Presidential Election-WINNERS & LOSERS-

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Political - No Comments

donald-trump-victory

Last night Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States which left the country with a whole new group of winners and losers for the night. Here’s my top five on both sides.

WINNERS

  1. DONALD TRUMP- Easy pick but his win was so big that it opened up a whole new group of winners.
  2. KELLY ANNE CONWAY- From the moment she jumped on the campaign her positive attitude and strength allowed it to reach new heights.
  3. BREITBART NEWS & THE DRUDGE REPORT-Who gained a new audience by being the one’s always out there presenting a different point of view

LOSERS

  1. HILARY CLINTON- I know another easy pick but boy did she get clocked
  2. POLITICAL CORRECTNESS- It’s okay again to not sound like a politician.
  3. POLLSTERS/POLITICAL ELITE-Sorry you better start looking for a new position maybe a weatherman/woman they’re hardly right and still get paid.

Presidential Election 2020- REMATCH?

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Political - No Comments

donald-trump-hillary-clinton-boxing-match-1  donald-trump-hillary-clinton-boxing-match-2

No matter what happens this week will their be a rematch in 2020 or has one of the opponents been knocked out of the ring for good.  Let’s face it they’re both no spring chickens but Donald has the energy of a 20 year old and Hillary can still hit the upper cut when it counts so maybe 2020 the boxing arena will become the public arena again for these two aging stars. I guess it all depends whether either of the candidate is spending some time away before the actual event would occur and whether that would even matter in that a day.  The public will definitely pay for this rematch which will leave us all with a big black eyes.
