CIA Interrogation … really?

cia

We spend how $4o million to investigate the CIA’s deal with the worst of the worst but still don’t properly compensate or care for our veterans that insure this scum doesn’t come into our country. Does this make any sense?  Maybe some of the techniques were a bit harsh in getting the information that our brave men and women needed to defend our country but is this really what we should be concerned about? How about finding a way to prevent violence and hopeless in our own inner city instead.   We may learn how to be nicer to terrorist but truthfully I’m a bit more concerned on how we can be nicer to our own allies such as Israel.  To make matters worse this report didn’t even attempt to get the opinion of the CIA officials who were involved in this interrogation procedure and by so doing may actually hurt the morale of those officials who everyday risk their lives behind the scene to insure our freedom and peace.

Ferguson Cure = Community Policing

community policing

The key to having a police force that is responsive to it’s locality without appearing extra aggressive is community policing. Here are some of the factors that would need to be formed to insure this works.

1. INFORMED- The police force have to know all the different players in the community and therefore understand who to speak to when a problem should arise.

2. LISTENING-  This force must take the time and effort to listen to the various members of it’s community be they business, civil or the student attending high school. Attend their school functions, visit the businesses, walk into a senior citizen center and ask questions then listen

(3) JUSTICE- Justice must of course be served but it can be served at a slower pace so those in the community understand that every effort was made to resolve an issue before force was utilized.

(4) COURTS- Community policing must extend to the justice system where all court proceedings including the grand jury  are open to public scrutiny but still protect the privacy of the witnesses when need be.

(5) ACTION- Those that where the uniform must show that uniform in a warm way. Whether it be helping coach a sports team or serving lemonade at a street fair small actions of generosity can go a long way to building trust.

(6) INVOLVEMENT- Not only should the police force actively seek recruits from the neighborhood it patrols but also have them involved in neighborhood watch programs and even trained in self defense programs as well.

Israel /Iran Operation Freedom

Iranian oppostiton

Israel can not wait another 7 months for the world community to decide what to do with Iran’s Nuclear ambition when there evil pursuit is bent on Israel’s destruction. It must act and in a way that’s efficient, accurate and where it’s fingerprints can’t be easily detected. This will take working with those who normally wouldn’t work her (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait). Here are a few steps I believe they should take. Please don’t share with Iran.

(1) Israel should be giving military training and assistance to Iranian opposition forces led by Reza Pahlavi.

(2) There needs to be military aircraft equipped with bunker bombs stationed in Saudi Arabia or Kuwait but camouflaged and painted in the Iranian Aircraft colors.

(3) A riot should occur at the Evin Political Prison.

(4) Iranian Opposition forces should be secretly snuck into Iran and plan an attack on the national grid system and take over the local T.V. and radio station calling for young people to get out in the street demanding a Green revolution.

(5) Israel disguised planes should sneak into the country and destroy Iran’s Nuclear capacity while this insurgent actions occur.

(6) Saudi Arabia and Kuwait should supply weapons and equipment to the opposition to support the success of the operation. Israel will secretly participate in those supplies as well.

Republican Royal Flush

royal flush

It’s time the Republican’s  have a Royal Flush when dealing with the illegal immigration card. A Royal Flush must have just the right cards to work.  It must be just and fair, dealing with today and the future, politically smart but not devious and most importantly it must protect and preserve OUR Constitution. I believe my plan would hit on all those cards. PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS.

1. SECURE THE BORDER-  A secure fence  must be built with actual materials  or a  “Smart Fence” built by technology that will prevent individuals from coming into our country illegally.  This fence must be certified by the Governors that it adequately prevents such entry before step 2 is taken.

2. GUEST WORKER PROGRAM- A program should be established that allows guest workers to come to this country to take on positions that American’s are unwilling to take. There must be safeguards  though to insure the safety of such workers against slave work conditions and to insure that these individuals  return to their countries after they’ve completed said work.

3. PATH TO CITIZENSHIP- Those under 18 and their families who came to this country over 5 years ago would be permitted to stay as long as the President’s Executive Decree is dismissed and considered an Unconstitutional act by the courts.  These individuals would also have to pay a fine, pay back taxes, learn English, serve in the military or public service charity, and wait in the back of the line to become a citizen.

4. TIME- The Path of Citizenship could not occur before step 1 is completed and/or before 2017 whichever is longer.  Any individuals who come to the country during this time in between must also be automatically deported before step 3 can take place.

5. LEGAL IMMIGRATION- The process for legal immigration especially for those with technical skills needed will be less cumbersome and more accessible.

Punishment for Presidents

justice

The Impeachment process is way to difficult and political to be used  in most cases when a President has overstepped their constitutional authority or committed a criminal activity.  This creates an atmosphere where the President might feel that they could get away with almost anything as long as their party is in control and/or the media is on their side.  Therefore other lesser punishments must be available to deter future actions by our Commander in Chief.  Here are a few remedies (below) I believe the Congress should enact if these cases do arise .

(1) An action that the President has taken can be stayed if a majority in the congress feel it is unconstitutional and immediately taken to a Federal Court for Review.

(2) If the Federal Court deems the act Unconstitutional the President can be personally fined for his/her actions. This decision would of course be subject to immediate appeal

(3) If the President refuses to agree to the decision of the court or continues to act in further ways that go over his boundary of power he/she can have this particular power removed from their authority and be given to a third party appointment by the court to administer.

(4) The courts can also hold proceedings of impeachment which although would not subject the President to such action would give credence to any action the House and Senate might take up if they deem necessary.

Obama Timeout

timeout President time out chair

When toddlers act out to get attention often time out is utilized to make them reconsider how to act better in the future. I believe at this juncture we should consider the following action with the President. Of course he’s not going to be forced to sit in his room at the White House (that wouldn’t be so bad) but we must not let him get too much attention from his blatantly unconstitutional act of taking the Congress role in governance. We all know that the President can’t make laws as he is attempting to do with his illegal amnesty act but only enforce the laws that are on the book.   Yet if we make such a big deal about what he does he gets the attention he wants like a spoiled child and is drawn to act again.  Here is a better way (below) to deal with this President.

(1) On Friday have the leaders of the New Congress assemble a press conference which the media and the President will assume will be speaking about the President’s illegal action but instead focus on the important pieces of legislation that they intend to push through Congress this year  (Example Energy Independence Act). When the issue of the President act come up tell them that we will seeking a legal remedy to deal with this issue.

(2)  Hold up most of the President’s Appointments in  a quiet fashion (other business has  come up) until the President agrees to follow the law.

(3) Later on pass immigration reform act that deals with protecting the border first with clear markers and then the issue of treatment of illegal immigrants after 2016. This will insure that the next President will have to deal with the law on the books first before Congressional approved modifications will be adopted.

(4) Cut back funding for some of the President’s “Pet Projects” unless he agrees to rescind his actions but blame the deficit for the reasons this action had to occur.

Liberal Nightmare

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Philosophy, Political - No Comments

Many Liberals believe that the President’s unwillingness to execute the immigration laws as they are written is a good thing but they might instead  be entering a nightmare they’ve closed their eyes to. For when a Conservative President comes to power he/she can use this precedent to decide not to have the IRS enough force the capital gains tax, not enforce the ban on school prayer or refuse to have citizens funds go to groups that oppose his/her philosophy because “Congress didn’t act the way he/she wanted them to act” (Bad Congress).  This act of the President reminds me of a child holding their breath or carrying on until they get what they want. They may initially get what they want but in the end lose more then they were bargaining for.

My posts references to dreams have nothing to do with me getting a poor night sleep…. now can someone get me that coffee.

Pro-Woman/Pro-Life

sex selection

I believe those that are Pro-Life are Pro-Women because abortions hurt woman the most. Nobel Prize-winning economist Amartya Sen estimates that up to 200 million females have been killed through sex selection abortion. In which a child is aborted just because of the sex that she is going to be born with. Furthermore the push to perform this horrible procedure occurs from the husband or “boyfriend” who doesn’t want to bear the burden of bringing a child into this world. Yet these individuals don’t mind putting  “their loved” through a vile procedure that takes a life and leaves a permanent painful scar on the other life. Many of these individuals are more into playing the field then taking care of the field then is currently their for them and have as much loyalty to their girlfriend and/or wife as they do to their unborn child. Pro Life/Pro-Woman means carrying for all woman unborn and born young and old.

Political Junkie

political junkie

My name is Bud and I’m a political junkie.  It all started at the age of 8 when I felt a certain sadness as the adults around me cheered the resignation of President Richard Nixon.  I don’t remember falling to hard for President Ford but I definitely felt the malaise as Jimmy Carter came to the Oval Office. I still remember staying up every night to watch Nightline and see how many days are citizens were being kept hostage in Iran. My political action started shorted afterwards (see below) and although their are times I promised to get off this drug it has truly kept my glued my entire life.

(1) My first campaign activism was for Assemblyman Yevoli. He was the first and last Democrat that I actively supported.

(2) My first political speech came during the anniversary of the Kennedy Administration where my long speech to Newsday was cut to one sentence, ” He was young, good looking and got shot that’s why he why was so popular”.

(3) The first campaign I ran for was as my class President where I promised a whaling party at my house if I won. This was one election where even the dead bodies couldn’t put me over the top and I believe my parents were very happy with the loss.

(4)Reagan Bush campaign put my in to full political throttle. As I started Student’s for Reagan Bush and Young Republican’s at SUNY Albany. My activism though was burned out by those that were more interested in politics then political change.

(5) When I attended Bryant University I made my first promise to take a break from the political world but Amy Carter’s visit to our school and her support of the Sandinistas in Nicaragua abruptly ended that break.  I started the Young Republican’s at Bryant University and had a Conservative Column in the local school paper.

(6) Graduation lead me to NYC and getting involved in the Young Republican Club of NYC. Within a year or so I became President of this club but do to heinous acts of certain individuals my desire in politics soon faded away.

(7) It wasn’t until the Tea Party grew that the fire  reignited  in me. I formed two different Tea Party groups and started to attend political action training groups. I even ran for the school board with more support then I expected.

(8) Today those Tea Party groups have dissipated but I continue to be glued to the networks coverage of the political races, donate monies to the campaigns, write articles in local papers,  and am taking a whole new look on how I might get involved.

Today I can openly say I’m a Political Junkie and this is one addiction I don’t think I will quit in this lifetime.  For through political change I still believe we can make this world a better place for us all.

Elephants

The Republicans had a great night excluding my state of NY ( and other liberal bastions) and my specific house district. It’s incredible to be in the one area of the country where Elephants aren’t allowed (there are plenty of Donkey’s here). G-D willing Elephants will become louder and prouder and soon the stampede will enter NY as well.
