Homeland Security Hand

The House Republican’s need to raise their hand if they want to win this “Homeland Security Funding debate. Of course it’s a shame that politics has to wave it’s hand on such a serious issue but what do you expect with this administration and if they want to play with fire give them the chance to be burned. The House should pass a new bill funding “Homeland Security” that includes many goodies that the Democrats and most importantly the American people want.  This would include middle class tax cuts, increase funding for returning veterans, monies toward true border control, helping homeless dogs etc and even fund this with a one time increase on capital gains all in return for no funds to President Obama’s illegal Amnesty Program.  I’m personally against this bill under normal times with it’s  tax increase and many of these programs but the American people would finally clearly see how the Senate Democrats truly obstruct “progress” by filibustering even this bill full of things they like.  Once rejected by the Senate and the President the House then would pass a clean Homeland Security bill without any of the goodies mentioned in the previous bill and the Republican House would take this hand

FIGHT FIRE EARLY

SMALL FIRE

It is best to put out a small fire before it manifests into inferno this might seem obvious but becomes more difficult when putting this concept into our personal and political action. Many times we may allow the spark to ignite hoping that a sudden rain will come out and extinguish the fire. This can work with careful controls and preparation in case it moves past that barrier. Yesterday I came down with a little bug and my response has been to flood that bug with as much medicine and vitamins to kick it out of my system. Yet if that bug continues to grow within a day or two my barrier will be met and I will visit the doctor.

This should also work with our foreign policy. We must not allow an incident to blow up into a crisis and should therefore use many resources to stop this from occurring. If these deterrents  work to eliminate the threat then that’s great but if not we must leave all other options open. This policy should be with all our enemies whether it be ISIS, Iran or Russia.

Congressman Zeldin defeats Senator Schumer

Wouldn’t it be great if the people of NY had a Senator that truly represented our views instead of President Obama.  A Senator that wouldn’t be afraid to challenge the President on his policies with ISIS, Israel, presidential over-reach, protecting small businesses etc.   Lee Zeldin could be our Senator to do just that and when he defeats Senator Schumer what a statement it could make.  With a Republican controlled House and Senate they would truly appreciate this freshman Senator and NY would  then receive it’s just share of the tax payers monies.  Most importantly Congressman Lee Zeldin is a good honest man with strong conservative principles who has served our country not just as a public servant but as a active serviceman in the Army. It’s time the people of NY have a Senator that truly stands for them it’s time for Senator Zeldin.

Wrong & Right

climbing bricks

THE ELITE RISE

I believed that the economy wouldn’t be as strong as it has been under this Presidency but I was right on why it is this strong. For no matter how many blocks and bricks that are put in the way the most capable, persistent people will find a way to climb above those bricks or use those blocks to build something bigger. The 5 % have always found a way to strive and make things work even when all odds are against them that is why they continue to rise to the top. That is why there are wealthy people even in places like Russia, Iran & even North Korea.  It’s the 95 % who remain stagnant because either they lack the will and/or skill to climb above these blocks and bricks. They become complacent with the cake that is thrown at them from the government elite and will keep eating it until there’s nothing left. For that reason those blocks of regulation and bricks of taxes need to be lowered and the cake put in a freezer and when that occurs then the rest of us can truly reach our potential.

Be Presidential

Netayahu

It’s time the President show respect for the office he holds! When a leader of our  greatest ally is invited to speak in front of Congress by the leader of the legislative body the President should take a few minutes to speak to him as well. Whether the President loves this leader or loathes him personally is not the issue instead it’s  about respect.  Prime Minister Netanyahu was invited to speak he didn’t ask to speak and although he should have probably contacted the White House that doesn’t mean he should have turned down that invitation, especially when so much is it a stake not just for Israel but the entire free world.  Iran, ISIS and other Islamic Extremist are a growing threat in Israel’s backyard and therefore Israel and her Prime Minister know best how to counter them. The President can’t ignore the valuable insight the Prime Minister brings no matter what his ideology might be because that threat continues to grow to (G-D forbid) hit our homeland.  The Presidency itself demands that the President first job is to protect the American people against foreign enemies and if the President let’s petty squabbles interfere with that responsibility he needs to step down.

Vaccine Yes and No

 VACINATE

I believe it’s important that all children are vaccinated from many illnesses because it has been proven to stop the spread of such illnesses.   It is also important that children cut back on their carbohydrates, eat more vegetables, exercise more and even learn to pray because these also have been proven to help with general health.  Science has also had had to correct many facts that they believe were right such as margarine good and eggs bad. There are also that “one in a million” chance that a child will pick up a deadly disease from such a vaccine and if it was your child it wouldn’t seem so rare. That is why we must educate and even have inducements for parents to vaccinate their children but not mandate with a gun to the head approach.  It’s simple we can either have society raise our children or have the nuclear family raise them. There will be many mistakes made by trusting in the “traditional nuclear family” but with education and inducement those mistakes will be lessened and we won’t lose the liberty we all hold so dear.  PLEASE COMMENT!

A tear for Mitt

one tear

Mitt Romney wasn’t my top choice for 2016 but his leaving the race brings a glum feeling to my heart.  It is partially the sadness in knowing how much better our country would have been today if he was elected in 2012 but it’s more then that.  I believe in  my heart that Mitt Romney is a good man who not only is generous with his monies but was willing to taking the arrows and punches because he truly wants to help this country.  Here is a man who could have easily lived the good life with the wealth he earned but instead decided to put his foot in the door and let get it slammed more then once because he truly wanted to help.  Tonight I raise a toast to Mitt Romney with a  tear running down my eye for a man who truly exemplified what it means to be a winner because winning isn’t always coming in 1st but the way you act during the race of life.

2016 Demands!

Posted by Bruce - in Philosophy, Political - No Comments

In 2016 we need a President that has the full package. We’ve had Presidents who can read well from a TelePrompter but don’t understand the American people or it’s philosophy. Presidents who gone to Harvard and Yale but have not walked or worked “Main Street”.  President’s who found ways to divide us so that they can seek their own victories.  Those who can organize communities and villages but can’t protect those serving us around the globe.  Here’s just a few keys (below) to the package we need to present so that our person can live at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

(1) LEADERSHIP- A person who will speak to those who are for and against him and still gain respect from both sides.

(2) COMMUNICATOR- An individual who can speak to people from all walks of life and find a way for them to believe you understand their hopes and dreams.

(3) PRINCIPAL- The President must stand on principal even if that isn’t the political correct stance at the moment.

(4) LOOK- They need to have a different look and background then those who have had the office before. This helps create a narrative and image that is shown around the world.

(5) EXPERIENCE-The Presidency must not be there first calling to public service because how it works there is different then anywhere else.

There are many fine candidates that have parts of this package but I believe our best option today rest with Senatore Marco Rubio and I pledge that starting tomorrow that I will commit resources and time to see to see that this true vision of growth and change happens in 2016.

Sinai Peace Expansion

world harmony

If Egypt was to build “A Resort of Peace” in the Sinai then the beginning of true peace between the various neighbors could begin. This resort would be built with the help of Palestanians and Israel’s and would feature interfaith discussions on various topics in an honest and respectfully way. There of course would be all the ammenities of a modern resort and with a bit of the “Disney Touch”, so families from all walks of life could enjoy themselves. By living, working, learning, praying and prospering together the steps toward peace would truly begin and even if those steps lead to a wall by the leaders, those who lived within that wall would at least achieve that goal there.

Muslim Extremist?

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Philosophy, Political - No Comments

My title is the two words that President Obama has blacklisted from his administration but why? I believe there are several rational and not so rational reasons for this decision listed below.  If I believe there is logic and rational to the decision  I’ll give it a 10  if not I  if  on the other hand it’s cigarette logic (see previous blog) I give it a 0.

(1) OFFEND MODERATES- (5) 99 % of the billion believers of the Islamic faith do not adhere to these  extremist views and by attaching Muslim to it they might feel offended but the administration is not willing to see  that extremist is right next door and that any group has extreme elements to it that cause it problems.  Yet if this  rational is truly the case then they can cause this group Islamic Apostates because the terrorist  faith is truly fallen and evil.

(2) CAN’T USE WITH TEA PARTY (10) If they use Muslim Extremist for those that kill the innocent it appears illogical  to use it for those who believe in a peaceful way a government should run. Therefore they can’t paint their political opponents in such harsh terms and if they can’t do that then the public might want to actually listen to them.

(3) OUR FAULT (O) The administration believes that the victims of terrorism are at least partly to blame.  If they believe this then maybe they should believe in Sharia Law because women that aren’t covered  will incite men to rape them. It’s  completely illogical and needs to be wiped  out like the terrorist.
