Whether you love Donald Trump you can’t legitimate say his temporary ban on Muslim travel fits American Conservative values.  For American Conservatives belief in the importance of the adherence to the principals of the U.S Constitution and one of the keys is freedom of religion. It is so important it’s the 1st amendment to the constitution.  Here is the exact section of that amendment that Donald’s proposal goes against “impeding the free exercise of religion”.  We can not say that the government can’t interfere with other rights such as the 2nd Amendment if we don’t respect the rights of the 1st amendment?   Therefore a ban even temporary on Muslims entering the country goes against the basic values of  American Conservatism and any supporter of such a proposal can’t claim they are part of the American Conservative movement.

Trump is the best….

I will actively support Donald Trump if he becomes the Republican nominee. Yet realize Trump is the best chance Hillary Clinton has in moving to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue of all her Republican opponents.  It’s not whether you like or even love Trump that should leave you down this thought pattern but common business knowledge.  People will not buy the product your selling if they feel offended (rightly or wrongly) by what you have said. Donald Trump has offended enough voters from different voting patterns around the country that won’t even look at the store no matter what he says later.  You have woman, Hispanics, Muslim and even disabled Americans that fit in that category of hurt by the Donald’s remarks. I understand that people should not be as easily offended but let’s face it they are and they live in the states the Republican’s need to win an election. These individuals won’t be voting for Hillary Clinton but against Donald Trump.  If you want to have a good show then Donald Trump is your man for the nomination but if you want to win I suggest you look more closely at his 13 other Republican opponents. For an election is not just about making a statement at the moment but making it last at the Oval office.

Trumps remarks on Muslim Travel- Win or Lose

Donald Trumps remarks on temporarily banning Muslim travel to the United States will either put him over the top or throw him under the bus in this campaign cycle and it might have nothing to do with what he does next.  If G-D forbid another large scale terrorist attack occurs on our soil before the primaries roll in, it will be the Trump House. If on the other hand everything stays calm these words will have him seeking to build a new Trump building instead.  For although there is a great deal of emotional individuals that come out to vote on primary days there are more  of the G.O.P regular voters who will believe his remarks were too over the top to give him the nomination. The polls might have him ahead but who actually goes out an vote will have him behind.   If I’m wrong G-D willing let it be on the later point not my first point.

Muslim rise in discrimination?

Muslim Woman

No person should be discriminated against because of race religion or ethnicity but we must be weary when allegations of discrimination are made against those who have individuals attacking.  People of the Muslim faith in America should accept that a few are using their faith to commit heinous acts and that makes their fellow American’s a bit more apprehensive then they probably should be.

It’s up to them to not only express their disdain for such actions but invite dialogue between communities to avoid such discriminatory thoughts or actions. The majority of Muslims should discuss steps that they are taking to purge extreme elements from their communities and insure safety for their fellow citizens. We can’t be afraid of reporting what we see for fear of being called bigoted and at the same time we must be confident that all in our communities are working together to eliminate hate and violence from their communities. Discrimination is wrong and can be eliminated when everyone truly works together and feels this is actually occurring.

Trump-Muslim Shutdown- Too Far

Donald Trump’s statement calling for “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States” is way off the mark of what a Presidential Candidate should even suggest. Not only is it wrong but impossible to enforce. Of course we need tighter security for those entering the country and building a wall whether it be an actual structure or a technical detour is essential but telling 1 billion people that they aren’t invited into this country is something that is completely stupid. Here are just a few problems with his statement.

(1) UNCONSTITUTIONAL- I’m sure that the courts will over-rule this type of action as blatant discrimination against individuals because of their religion.

(2) UNJUST- Imagine an American Citizen who is Muslim trying to invite relatives from out of the country to  attend their child’s wedding or G-D forbid funeral and being denied access to this country.

(3)STUPID- Insulting a billion people ( 99 % who are good, peace loving people) is just dumb and will cause us problems with diplomacy. Can you imagine asking Jordan, Egypt or other predominately Muslim countries with help in defeating ISIS when we have defamed the entire Muslim faith?

(4) INEFFECTIVE- Terrorist will deny their faith or even convert temporally to enter the country and act out their despicable actions.  They will also have more supporters for such evil acts.

San Bernardino Massacre and ISIS

San Bernardino

It may take time to have law enforcement officials reveal that there is a link between the San Bernardino Massacre and ISIS or a ” direct link” may not be found but rest assured ISIS has some culpability.  For every time ISIS completes an evil mission whether here or aboard it inspires other Islamic Extremist to act out in an evil way.  These individuals see ISIS as winning in forming the Islamic Caliphate and their evil acts as one way to build on this demonic regime.  That is why the following steps (below) must be taken if were are truly going to defeat this evil before it continues to kill the innocent.

(1)FBI LIAISON’S – The FBI should have liason’s that work within every Islamic community in the U.S (openly and discreetly if necessary) to try to pull out individuals with Jihadist goals before they occur.

(2) ANNIHILATE ISIS- It is not enough to defeat ISIS in a battle here or there but to destroy all resources that give it any strength (financial, communications, militarily etc) so that it is clear to even the Islamic Extremist that they have been defeated.

(3) PROP UP MODERATES- Help fund and support moderate Islamic and Democratic movements throughout the middle east and around the world where Islam is the predominate religion.

(4) UNITE-  Political Leaders must stand together against this evil no matter the divide on other issues and put this at the top of their agenda even if it’s at the cost of losing an election.

Fight against Radical Islamic Terrorism Today

Isis murder

If we are to defeat this evil in our times society must take the following steps.

(1) BUILD A MODERATE  IMAM TELEVANGELIST PRESENCE –  This should be similar to a Joel Olsteen type message of hope and individual redemption in one’s own life This message would need to go to every part of the Muslim world.

(2) SUPPORT JOINT CHRISTIAN, ISLAMIC , JEWISH CULTURAL & EDUCATIONAL CENTERS-  These centers would be places for open discussions of differences and bridges to peaceful coexistence around the globe. They also should help build joint business, housing and cultural centers around the world.

(3)  FUND & SUPPORT A MODERATE INTERFAITH INTELLIGENCE AND MILITARY ARM- Individuals participating in such a group would be thoroughly vetted and be trained not just in military preparedness but in basic human rights and values that must exist for all the world’s peoples. They would attack terrorist first that oppose such basic values.

(4) A TREATY AGAINST ISLAMIC TERRORISM-  All those countries that sign such a document would do what it takes to eliminate this Cancer around the world and those that don’t sign or ignore the provisions would face immediate sanctions and/or military reprisals.

Presidential Debate- Stump Questions

Republican Presidential Candidates

Here are a few questions (below)  that will stump the current field of Presidential Candidates. In which the picture above is not as current as I like. Please add to the list.

(1) Tell me what position in the cabinet would you give to the person standing next to your right & left side?

(2) What quality to you admire  most about those same candidates that you lack?

(3) If  G-D forbid a terrorist attack occurred in the United States as what occurred in France what specific steps would you take right after it occurred?

(4) What is the most humbling experience that you’ve gone through?

Compliment or not?

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Philosophy, Political - No Comments

not compliment

A compliment may not heard or even used against you when given to certain individuals.  These individuals have the ability to twist such positive words so they appear to be even an insult.  Sometimes even a person who appears open to hearing such positive words is not in the mood to listen or is so absorbed in another thought so that your words will be absorbed from the wrong body part.

It’s worth testing the water with a light comment to see if your compliment will fall on the wrong individual or at the wrong time before you express your full gratitude.  Maybe a slight positive comment about their appearance or the direction of the day and their response will determine your next move.  Seeing you positive comments turn to closed ears or being misinterpreted can turn any frown upside down.  Therefore the question might be not just to compliment but to whom and is so when?

Fox Business- Republican Debate- SPARRING MATCH INSTEAD

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Philosophy, Political - No Comments

2016 presidential candidates. 2FOX BUSINESS DEBATE

Tonight’s Republican debate hosted by Fox Business should be more of a sparring match then you go I go format.  The moderator should pick a topic (ex Drugs, Gun Control, Abortion) and have the two  candidates closest in polls to each other discuss and debate this one issue for five minutes without any interference from the moderator or any other candidate. For example Donald Trump and Ben Carson (ranked 1 & 2) could explore in depth their economic plans. Later on those ranked 3 & 4 would get their topic and so on down the line. Once this has occurred the person ranked 1 could have that discussion with the individual ranked 3rd and various changes in the order would occur. This would allow for a more exciting debate with more substance for the viewers instead of a gotcha moments and/or one liners.  What do you think?
