Trumpism Part I

donald trump

I believe it’s time to explore the Donald Trump phenomenon from a more intellectually point of view.  To understand why this had occurred in our political landscape and what could be the effects for his Presidency whatever your knee jerk reaction to his candidacy has been.  Let’s start with that phrase “knee jerk” where I believe we can say whatever your position on this man is that he is a model for this phrase.  For many (including me)  it’s quite refreshing to hear someone speak without fear that his remarks might offend others.  How many of us are held back in our life’s from living this way whether it is fear of  offending the boss, colleagues, a wife or friend’s?  We can sometimes walk on a balancing beam trying to chose just the right words at the right time or even feel we have to hide our thoughts to bring peace. Just like going to a boxing machine we live through Donald’s Trump verbal punches as if we were the one throwing the punch.  How would a Trump Presidency of total openness effect his skill as a leader here are just a few thoughts to consider.

FEAR- Those that speak boldly are usually feared by others. This could be helpful in dealing with enemies and also inspiring friends but fear also can inspire extremist elements who feel their voices are shouted out.

HOPE- Bold proposals such as “Making this Nation Great Again” and “Building a Fence to Protect Us” inspire hope for those who believe their government doesn’t act yet if Donald Trump’s proposals don’t come to bear fruit quickly then that balloon will pop (not deflate) leaving his supporters only holding broken rubber.

WORKING WITH SUPPORTERS- Donald Trump tends to strong emotions for his supporters and detractors which he states openly and loudly.  This will make it difficult for a Trump Administration to hear from opposition that has good points on policy but is not his ally.  Will this cause a divided country to divide further down the lines not red and blue but Trump and Anti-Trump?

Prescription Drugs…. paths to Heroin

Heroin

The path to Heroin too often starts down the path of legal Prescription Pain Killing drugs. It is said that up to  80% of those on Heroin today started out with Pain Killing drugs therefore if we are to battle this epidemic shattering our communities we must have better control on the pain killing drugs prescribed in our society.  I can’t imagine the difficulties those that have chronic pain go through but for the good of society and these individuals pain killers must be the last choice not the 1st choice. Here are a few ways (below) we can truly help those suffering and society as a whole.

(1) PRESCRIPTION OF PAIN REDUCING TECHNIQUES- Classes of Yoga, Therapy, Meditation, Acupuncture and natural remedies should be given a chance to work before prescription of pain killing medicines occurs.

(2) HOLISTIC APPROACH TO MEDICINE- Where the medicine is given as part of a whole plan to deal with pain  (Yoga, Therapy, Meditation etc) and eventual to lower the dosage or eliminate them all together.

(3)MEDICINE WITH EVALUATION- Medicines are given to those that have tried all alternatives and are in a holistic program but these individuals are carefully monitored to insure they don’t slip through the cracks.  This might include monthly or bi-monthly meetings with therapist/doctors ,  Faith community sponsored groups or work with local law enforcement.

(4) TOUGH DRUG TREATMENT FACILITIES- Places where individuals who have become addicted to these substances can get the proper treatment 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  It will be tough treatment but it will work for those who truly want to get better.

Me or Country

Presidential Candidates 2016

Many of those who are still running against Donald Trump for the G.O.P nomination because they believe he can’t win must decide whether it’s me or the country.  They can either believe in themselves with dwindling poll numbers or pull out and give their support to those who could truly change the race.  The time is closing in and for those who haven’t changed their poll numbers maybe it’s time to put your ego away and work for the better of the country. For if you chose yourself instead remember your decision might change this country for good to the Socialist States of America (Hillary Indicted) .

Trump VS Cruz- School Bully

Trump Cruz bully 2

Is it just me or do the latest attacks by Donald Trump against Ted Cruz remind me of  flashback to my middle school days. When bullies would say to others (including me) “nobody likes you”. I’ve grown to like Donald Trump but the latest attacks are quite immature and are an example of what a bully will do when he/she feels that there territory is threatened.  The only difference is in this case it’s not a school yard but the G.O.P nomination.  I’m against political correctness but Mr. Trump’s those remarks were just plain nasty and you deserve a time out. I’m sure some time to think about your cruel words will make you a stronger candidate and more importantly a better person.

Then there were 4 maybe 3 7/8

Fox News Presidential Debate

Today I believe there are only 4 Candidates left that are on the “Main Stage”. They are Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Carly Fiorina (a bit of an emotional appeal) but let me explain in general terms why the others have fallen. These individuals Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, Ben Carson, Jeb Bush  John Kasich, Rand Paul & Chris Christie etc. lack the media electricity to keep them in the spotlight and without that spotlight monies and resources dry up more quickly then the desert.   Furthermore in these times the grassroots is moving toward a different field then in the past.  They are fine candidates and great people with strong resumes but the times they are a changing.   Here are the 4 candidates that are on the prime stage and why.

(1) DONALD TRUMP– The spotlight continues to shine on him because he has the best one liners and throws punches as if he was  Mike Tyson in his youth.

(2) TED CRUZ– Strong, articulate, rebellious and someone who has a clear strong message.

(3) MARCO RUBIO– Best appearance of the bunch in looks and in style (don’t forget those boots) who clearly shows the diversity of the party.

(4) CARLY FIORINO– Powerful story that is spoken in a way that shows intellectual prowess and missing a Y can be very beneficial in this case.

Hillary Guilty Not Indicted

Hillary Clinton laughing

Hillary Clinton might be as guilty as OJ but she won’t be indicted not because she knows of skeleton but bodies. It is possible that the FBI Director James B. Comey Jr. might recommend that the Justice Department indict her but even if that was the case Loretta Lynch would more likely indict herself then Hillary. It is more likely that if the FBI Director strongly beliefs that Hillary should be indicted he will suddenly decided to resign for personal reasons, instead.  Hillary and her cronies know all the bad/illegal deals that President Obama’s  Administration has made and would be more then willing to use them as a bargaining chip, which is why the President will make sure Hillary is kept clean even if there is plenty of dirt.

It’s all I rigged system for the “Political Elite” who milk the tax payer dry while living the life of luxury and power. That is why maybe “Donald Trump” isn’t such a poor choice after all.  He may not say what he should many a time but at least he isn’t part of the “gang” that has so much control over our life’s and is laughing at us with their Diamond Earrings.

False or hurt

Bill Cosby  Bill Clinton

Is it really false or are we to hurt to accept the truth? Many times we so want the individual to be innocent because of what they represent (ed)  to us that we won’t allow our conscious mind to accept the truth.  We belong to a group, a team, a faith, a political party and this person was our leader therefore it must be them vs us. The sad thing about it is in our subconscious need to defend “our leader” we forget about the possible victims of their actions.  We must try our best to balance our loyalty/pride with justice for all whether the be in our team or outside.

FURTHER NOTE- Those who believe that by putting the two Bills up in this post means I have convicted them in my mind maybe the one’s who are truly hurt in the first place.

Just Curious

Unborn Baby

I understand that those individuals who say they are “Pro Choice” (using their vernacular) because they want a woman to have a choice but do they want that choice to be informed? Do they want these ladies do to know about the living breathing unborn child in them that thinks on their own? Do they want them to know about the life they would give to a couple by putting up their unborn baby up for adoption? Would information concerning side effects of having an abortion be allowed (mental health issues, breast cancer issues, infertility  etc) or is that off limits? I’m Pro Life but I believe if more woman had such an informed choice then theirs would be for life as well.

Carly Fiorina   Marco Rubio

I’m going to New Hampshire to help Carly Fiorina in the Primary because I believe she is an excellent candidate, who speaks with clarity, has great intellect and would be one of the toughest opponents against Hillary Clinton but that doesn’t mean I’m closing the door on the rest of the G.O.P field especially Marco Rubio. I also must note that the Fiorina campaign appears very receptive and warm to grass root supporters and seems to have an excellent organization.   I was contacted by the Fiorina campaign because they were concerned about my loyalty and I’m here to tell you the truth that my loyalty is with G-D and country first.  I don’t believe at this juncture that I should put all my marbles in one box but keep my mind, eyes and soul open as I pay attention to what is occurring in the race. If for some reason my honesty impairs my ability to play a bigger role in the campaign then so be it because it is more important for me to be true to myself then to lie to a campaign.

“EXECUTIVE ACTION KILLS

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Philosophy, Political, Uncategorized - No Comments

breaking news

President Obama’s Executive Action on Guns result in Death…”  G-D willing this news won’t cross the wires and even if it did occur I’m not sure the press wouldn’t  cover the truth this way.  For those who need mental health treatment, because of issues such as paranoid schizophrenia, will be less likely to get the help they need, for fear of governmental intrusion.  This is especially true of our Veterans that suffer from PTSD and also are trained in firearms. Many of them don’t understand how sick they are but are clear about what the government is trying to do.  I understand the fear and emotion the President felt as he laid down his Executive Action on guns but logic not emotions should carry the day.  It also will be ineffective for anything done from the top down is proven less effective then bottom up. Here is a solution (below) that will truly work.

(1) Gun Store Training- Give incentives to gun stores so that they will have their employees participate in a class that help identify behaviors of individuals who might have mental health issues, which would make ownership of such equipment detrimental to themselves and the public at large. They also will be trained on how to deal with such situations if they occur.

(2) Mental Health Professionals- Should be trained on how to discuss the gun issue with clients that are in treatment (letting a family member take control of such devices while they are working on these issues) and be able to contact law enforcement authorities that are trained in dealing with those with such issues should it be necessary. These mental health officials would not be in violation of the Hipaa Oath if this occurs.

(3) Mental Illness- Those who are in treatment for mental health issues should feel comfortable that the government won’t impair their 2nd Amendment rights as long as that treatment continues and is successful.
