It’s easy being a Jet’s fan this year and many of the years in the past if you have the right mindset. Last nights 41-10 loss against the Indianapolis Colts just adds fire to this wood.  Here are just a few advantages.

(1) DISCOUNT TICKETS- While others pay an arm and leg to go to the game we can go for rock bottom prices ($5.00 was seen on Stub Hub)

(2) EASY PARKING- You don’t have to rush to go to the game trust me there will be plenty of parking spaces available.

(3) GOOD NIGHT SLEEP- The games are usually over in the 1st quarter so you can get the proper sleep your body deserves although many nightmares in Green might await.

(4) LOW EXPECTATIONS- It’s much easier to be happy when you put your expectations on low gear (very low this year).

(5) NEW STARS- They’ll be testing out potential new stars every game since the season has been lost.

(6) CATCH UP WITH THE ACTION MOVIE- They’re more realistic and provide more drama then the Jet’s games.

(7) TEST OUT NEW COLORS- This year maybe Green isn’t our color except in the monies you save from buying Jet’s equipment.

 While many will spend countless hours to be counted as an “expert” you already are. Mind the group you’re an expert too might be a bit smaller from a few hundred to maybe as low as 1 but you’re still their expert. For you know more about this subject matter then those around you because they know absolutely nothing about it or just a bit less then you. Even if you watched one episode or read the cover of a book you’re still far smarter then those who have changed the channel or didn’t go to the book store. So be proud of your intellectual achievement even if it’s a just a bit better then nothing because it’s a step above the rest.

It may not make it to # 1 but fun is going to be moved up on my list of daily activities. Whether it’s taking a few more moments throwing the ball with my dogs, laughing at some joke my daughter would find stupid, or just enjoying a free moment a bit more fun will not be ignored.  Of course it would be nice if fun had some return on my portfolio but the joy I get from enjoying life a bit more should give me more returns then watching a stock grow. Fun it’s an investment I’m putting more stock in starting today.

Amazon Go is going to put retailer workers out of a job especially those that are cashiers. No wonder Amazon didn’t mind raising the minimum wage to $15.00 an hour there won’t be an entry level jobs in their brick and mortar stores. If Amazon get’s it’s way the rich will have an easier life while those struggling will struggle more in finding a job. …. Wait till automated trucks take over their delivery routes as well.

It took over 20 years of marriage to understand this one principal most people want you to cry and yell louder before you help them find an answer. Here is some hard fought advise you should get from your 1st day in couple or friend therapy “If there angry about something no matter how stupid or silly it is and you want them to “get over it” don’t make it seem you want this”.  Use your best acting skills and empathize with their feelings as if someone is sticking a needle in your arm. Then help them find a solution by saying something like this “I understand your pain  please just think of this but don’t give me an answer right away (they’ll answer right away) I wonder though if it might be more helpful if….. “.  Then move on to a totally different subject if at all possible even it’s the color of the walls “beautiful white color”.  If this works my consultation fee is $200.00 you can leave it at my door.

There is something invigorating about the 1st snow of the season. Yes, I know the shoveling, wind chill and ice might be coming my way but for the moment it’s pure white fun (not to be racist but this usually doesn’t come in other colors except Yellow and that’s not to much fun) . The First Snow has come to my neighborhood this morning and it was a as beautiful as ever especially since it isn’t too cold and will just visiting for an hour or two only since the rain is probably a coming.  The first time is always the best well with snow so enjoy it while it lasts.

Sometimes it feels as if running while others in my world are satisfied standing still.  I continue to move from task to task jumping over hurdles that come my way which often leads me running alone. I can’t tell you that every step is in the right direction but at least it’s leading me somewhere instead of  society stopping me in my tracks. G-D willing I will continue to run until my last breath and who knows I might even get somewhere.
