Who do you call on when you need an extra hand whether it means someone reaching in their pocket or helping pull you ahead? Everyone has their own dreams, goals and problems so you don’t want to burden them or even add to their lot unless somehow you can convince them that your vision has a rainbow for them as well. Of course there are some good friends who will get involve just because they want to help you but if it doesn’t work will that friendship split in 2.   It’s one of the toughest questions to ask and is one that those who have the answer pull ahead of many of us who are still asking?

The NY Times claims that Shermichael Singleton was fired from a position at H.U.D for a hostile editorial he previously wrote about his current boss. Let’s assume for a moment that the NY Times is telling the truth “this time” would such a firing be justified? Would you have an employee working for you who starts his/her job publicly criticizing you before day one? I think not, most of us will appear excited about working for a certain employee if we really want such a position. Of course this was before he was elected and it is a public service position but honestly how well would you perform if you have already expressed reservation about the boss as well as knowing  if something went wrong you know where the fault would hit.  It would have been best if Shermichael Singleton could have resolved these issues with his employee beforehand but if after further discussion a meeting of the minds didn’t prevail then the two words “Your Fired” must appear instead.

For those idiots who believe President Trump or the American people will put up with the  Anti-Semitic attacks that have recently occurred you’re lucky if you get to see a jail cell.  The President clearly is disgusted with your hateful actions which you would see if you had 1/2 of a brain to listen to his remarks including one’s today that he made at the Smithsonian African American Museum today.  His own daughter, son in law and grandchildren are Jewish as well as some of his top Cabinet picks.  Further note you will see Jewish people as Tea Party leaders and Progressive leaders and as diverse as our viewpoints might be we won’t stand for Anti-Antisemitism on any of our fronts. We also have many that are proud supporters of our 2nd Amendment rights and are willing and able to defend such rights.  The American people as a whole will not stand by your vile actions as well. For say what you want but if you try to deface our land with your vile acts whether against those of any race, religion or sex we will fight as one to defeat you once and for all.

My dream of producing a high quality product with a rebellious edge is a few big steps closer to reality then ever before. For I’ve found a place that can produce this product within my budget if I pinch a bit further.  The next steps will be to determine whether I can partner with such a company to limit my exposure as well as to put together the distribution channels so that we can truly touch the rainbow.  Of course I also will need to formulate the marketing campaign including an exciting package that will entice the consumer to grab it off the shelves. These are all key steps but I feel better today better knowing that I climbed the first level even if a rainstorm G-D willing I’ll still feel  the colors of the rainbow are just within my reach.

After looking for an apartment for my son, I honestly don’t understand how young people can get a start in NYC with apartment prices so exorbitant? The solution must come from the marketplace where supply is very limited. Therefore we need to sell public housing units to developers at rock bottom prices in return for them to produce new housing for individuals living in such units as well as  middle class housing for the rest of us.  We also should ease restriction on residential housing in commercial areas in all the 5 boroughs.  Only by increasing supply will we slow down demand enough to allow the city to grow with new talent that will enhance the live of all the city residents. We also will truly be able to say if you can make it here you can make it anywhere.

David Cassidy admitting that he has dementia at 66 years old is scary.  We all know that time is limited and the clock can stop at anytime but forgetting their even is anything ticking is truly frightening.  Dementia and Alzheimer are more frightening then death to me because you can’t even carry a memory with you. Let us pray that G-D leads us to a cure for such diseases in the very near future so Mr. Cassidy and many others will be cured before they lose track of their very great life’s.

While my 4 legged friends are enthralled with the opening of my door I’m less then interested, what am I missing?  It’s the morning and the sun isn’t even shining but this is the high light of their new day. Yes, it is true that I should take the time to smell the grass and inhale a bit more O2 but is it really that exciting. Maybe it’s just one’s perspective on the upcoming day and what else awaits that determines the excitement of our “activities”.

I’m balancing two basic principles in my head as I try to deal with the despicable remarks made by Milo Yiannopoulos. The first is we must not judge someone for a partial statement and freedom of speech/expression must be permitted. This principle is balanced against the understanding that their are times when remarks can cause true harm to individuals and society so why the hell would you say them? Here is the basic remark Milo Yiannopoulous   which involved discussing relationship with boys as younga 13″said there is merit to “some of those relationships between younger boys and older men, the sort of coming of age relationships.” He described, in particular “the relationships in which those older men have helped those young boys to discover who they are and give them security and safety and provide them with love . . .  and sort of a rock where they can’t speak to their parents.” In response Milo has said “”I’m guilty probably of some very imprecise language, certainly, that my position on this is absolutely clear. I’m horrified by child abuse and I have a long reporting history of exposing people involved in it. I’ve exposed three pedophiles in my reporting history,” Yiannopoulos said in an interview with USA TODAY Monday. “Because this is something that happened to me, in my life, I think I always felt like I could talk however I wanted about it.”

TO CONCLUDE- I will wait and listen to see what occurs in the next few days before making a decision on whether Milo will be someone worth listening to in the future or switching the channel on.
