I was born to be a doctor but thank G-D I was born in this generation where other careers are possible. For my penmanship is horrendous but now a days nobody needs to know. It is only getting worse for all of us as non-practice makes more illegible. In my life it’s getting to the point where my printed words look like scribble and my scribble words look like they are from a different planet. What happens next is a mystery to me and for those who attempt to read my penmanship.
How many artist have died before lifting a brush? How many writers have passed with only thoughts in their heads. Who are the great philosophers nobody truly got to hear? Everyone has some special creative force that only a few release to the world. Most bottle it up due to the constraints of an active life with work, children or just plain fear. It is time to end this death spiral by allowing yourself moments to be lost in the creative world with those who will know and appreciate your unique toe.

A laptop computer was stolen from a Secret Service Car which begs the question Why & How? Why would a computer that had information on the Trump Tower, Hillary Clinton and even the Pope be left in an unsecured. Who would know that this computer was ripe for the taking. Wouldn’t such a computer have a self destruction mechanism that would insure national security secrets could not be taken and/or a tracking device to find this equipment. Maybe there is more to the deep state fears then we might know?
We often personify our dogs so they give us reminders to make sure that even though they maybe our best friend they’re still animals. It isn’t just the food and other items they put in their mouth that makes us confident that this is the case but but what they often enjoying sniffing is on no human palate. Yet what tops it off with me is the licks they are willing to give. For I never have to worry about a loved one deciding to lick my feet in the middle of the night but some how this is still an animal attraction. Dogs as human as they may seem at times insure through their actions that they are best friends… in the animal kingdom.
As faith communities continue to struggle against the secular world there is a tendency for them to try to become more inclusive without really being inclusive. For they might open up doors for individuals to participate in services that have felt left behind but do they then close the doors of those that are holding them. Faith communities must be inclusive to those who have felt that they were in the back of the bus without having those that are driving get off. For example Shul’s/Synagogues should open up new doors for women and young adults to participate in spiritual life while making ways for those more observant to feel comfortable attending as well (Mechitza area). Inclusive should be for all those who seek a closer relationship to G-D whichever steps they are willing to take as long as they will not be stepping on others. Or if you open the door on one side make sure the window is open on the other side.
It’s much easier to walk a different path when someone is walking along side of you. This is especially true when they’re keeping pace with the way you are walking. Last night I had 2 separate incidents that proved such a point where normally I walked alone, there was suddenly an active partner by my side. A matter of fact I was happy to let them take a lead so my feet could rest from the walk. Four feet is better then two when walking a different route.
CAN I REALLY DRINK W ONE BEER?
Finally a day that it’s easy to be green. You actually can celebrate your Greenness no matter what species you are and even if your a Muppet. I don’t know why I started so late but it’s better late then never. So let’s say it loud and proud Happy St. Patty’s day to all! Now pass some Corn Beef and Cabbage with my Beer.
I’ve recently shot a whole bunch of arrows in various business/entertainment opportunities and now am waiting to see if any land close to the target. It truly doesn’t bother me too much if they miss. For all I’ve invested is a bit of time and maybe even some effort but if you’re not in the game then you’ll never know whether you can play. Now the ball is many other’s court to take that shot and while I wait I think I’ll take the time to enjoy where I am today as I notice that beauty in a whole different peaceful light.
Coffee appears to be losing it’s effect when driving to work during early morning hours but Sirius/XM Comedy Channels has given me that extra jolt instead. I’ve tried a variety of stations to help lift my head when the eyes are getting a bit tired yet nothing has had the same effect as laughing has. Maybe it brings out the animal instinct in me or gets me back to my youthful spirit, all I know is it works. So from now on instead of an extra jolt of sugar in the pot I’ll take two maybe three laughs on the side.
Cheerios has pledged to give a 100 million Wildflower seeds to help bee’s as well as help Cheerios. I guess this gets people to think about the problem that is occurring with the decreased population of bees but many will say not a sting in my backyard (maybe my neighbors). It might also remind people about the Honey in Honey Nut Cheerios but I wonder if this campaign will have the impact that Cheerios hopes it will? For it’s one thing to care about the bee population but another to have them nearby. I’ve done my part and will be getting those seeds shortly where they will be planted further in the wild.
