The “Farrakhan Solution” is how to deal with this individual who has said some of the most despicable Anti-Semitic & Racist comments of our modern era yet still acknowledge that his organization has done some good works and has a deep following of African American individuals. Let’s face it some of the most evil organizations and individuals have done some good works and even made points that nobody else would say but we still threw them into the trash heap of history.   I was personally involved in a protest against this vile Anti-Semite when he spoke at SUNY Albany but that only changed his speech in terms that were Anti-Christian.  I don’t believe in censorship point blank unless that speech actually results in direct violence so her is my “Farrakhan Solution” (below).

(1) MORE VOICES– Where-ever this vile individual speaks make sure there are alternate voices from various viewpoints that counter ever word he says at locations near his speech.

(2) NEW LEADERS-  It is time that those who oppose Farrakhan bring new  thoughtful leaders to the African American community with the resources to make the changes that the community truly needs.

(3) COUNTER- Challenge  Farrakhan followers to a different way of thinking before and after this individual speaks that speaks of love, tolerance and hope instead of his hate & divide.  

(4) ADDRESS-  Listen carefully to the “logically concerns” that Farrakhan speaks about and make sure the “new leaders” have strong solutions that can rectify these concerns weather it be inner city crime, drugs, apathy …etc.

You’re calling it “Daylight Savings” and I’m losing an hour of productive time explain that to me? I understand after the 1st day I’ll have an extra hour or so of sunshine but the 1st day doesn’t save me anything. As a person that wants to be productive with my time tell me where did my hour ago?   Time goes fast enough do we really have to lose an hour tomorrow?  Oh well at least I can look forward to ( G-D willing) November  when I’ll get my hour back but tomorrow I can truly say time moves way to fast!

Before one passes judgement on the Florida Gun Law let’s carefully review each piece and see whether it will be helpful. We understand that in order to pass legislation as a whole some of the pieces might be far from perfect but those parts shouldn’t damage our constitutional rights as well.  I tried to provide a bit of a “rebel”  perspective on this issue that I hope will open up a deeper discussion.

I just want to know how you do it?  How can you stay quiet with so much stimuli running around you and probably in you? Where do your thoughts go when you don’t express them? Is there some vacuum in your head that lets them dissipate in the air as if they didn’t occur or do you have them build up until something blows them up?  Quiet people you intrigue me enough to have a whole speaking discussion on this topic.

I’ve been looking in the mirror but have not pointed it to YOU. For if I’m supposed to do unto others as I want done unto me shouldn’t I expect the reflection to come back toward me?  I continually try to change my words and actions so that the right image is projected to the world now I must be a bit more bold to show them the light as well. May G-D give me the strength to see both sides and move in the direction that gives me the greatest light.

Positive surprises are the “best” no matter what package or cup or act they come in. When someone suddenly unexpectedly does or gives you something you don’t expect (in the positive) it can change your total image of them …. at least for the moment.  It could be that hot cup of coffee on a cold day a little gift when they’ve gone away or even a warmer greeting surprises make life worth living at least till the next surprise.

Paralympics Games is a sporting event for everyone’s life because this shows how far we can go even if we appear to be “lacking”.  That if we are willing to work a bit harder and focus on our strengths instead of our weaknesses we can win the race of life even with bits of ice.  If those who truly have lost part(s) in their life still win so can we no matter what the battle we are in.  So for the those who participate in the Paralympics no matter what the medal I give you 4 stars for showing us what is possible if we still believe.

I have to confess I’m a liberal    but before you pull out all your hair in your head it definitely is not in the political stream where I swim way to the right. Yet put me in a group of business man and my mind will appear more like  this man then those in their standard suits. For I like to think of ideas outside the rainbow when it comes to profits and losses even if it doesn’t flow the way of the stream. I don’t like playing by the numbers all the time but allow the creative side find unique ways for the profits to flow for all to swim in.  So call me a liberal if you must but please limit it to the business stream that I skinny dip almost every day.
