I have this incredible concept for a song that I would like to help produce yet I’m not sure whether these thoughts cross into business or art?  If they cross into business then I should hold those thoughts till tomorrow for today is Shabbos and my mind should be thinking about a higher level of concentration. If it is just a creative thought that will go no further then my head then I’m sure I can think of it.  Yet if there is any chance it can really be produced and be successful I’ll leave those thoughts on…

As a human being with some humanity I can never imagine owning another person and even if I was born in a family that had this “evil tradition” I’d still be a horrible slave holder.  For I’m a person that has always has had empathy for those least among us and even if I was a told a slave was such a person it would not sink into my soul.  I find it difficult to punish my dogs when they do (literally) bad things how could I be cruel to another human even if I was told otherwise?  A simple ant is taken outside rather then stepped on inside and they don’t call me Spider man for sacrificing these creatures.

Yet today with all our knowledge and understanding 10-20 % of the people of Mauriania live in the bondage of slavery.  How can people with any sense of humanity act with such indifference to their fellow homosapien.   Where do they go to flush their souls away?  I might not have been brought up in this culture but trust me if I did I would not only be a horrible slave owner but fight to see this evil ended in my country.

Would you love them enough to let them go if you knew a better life was a road away?  It’s probably easier if it was a lover to say yes but what happens after the wedding certificate?  How about a child or another loved one living in conditions that you feel you can’t escape would you let them leave or make them stay? It’s not an easy choice especially when no one really knows what the future could bring or if their departure actually will really lead to their happiness.  For sometimes what is rough in one picture is even more difficult in another.  So do you help them pack their bags or make sure they feel as if they must stay?

FOOTNOTE- My grandfather at the age of 13 left his family in Poland to lead a better life in the United States. I wonder who was on his side?

What happens if as I’m writing this post it just…..ends. I guess at some point iG-D forbid it could occur.  Just as my brain is rocking with some new enlightened thought to the world that was just about there it won’t.   I could also be telling some hysterical story that needs a build up for the comedy to began and not make it to the punch line.  This is a risk I take as  nobody knows what will come out of this blog or might not fully make it.

I’ve determined that I’m a work freak for while others will do almost anything to avoid this 4 letter word I push myself straight into it as if my life depended on my commitment to this ethic.  A matter of fact I work so hard to find  additional work that there is almost no free time for even an extra exhale during the day. What makes me more of a freak is nobody demands these actions from me a matter of fact most want me to stop and commit a five act r-e-l-a-x.   I just see no point in sitting at work or even home not achieving something. Yes I know maybe it’s time to sit and smell the roses to bad the roses don’t come out at night.
