Yesterday my car was left in neutral while many drove past me.  I had a slight bout of “depression” where all the events of the day weighed down on me and caused me to feel as if I was just standing still even as my feet kept walking.  Maybe it was the slow pace of the day and the negative attitude of those around me or could it be I just let in too many despondent thoughts? Chocolate and caffeine were the drugs I choose but in the end it was a change of scenario with some inspiring people that cured me of this mood which I hope I won’t let enter again.

FOOTNOTE– Many have these times but few are willing to open up to them and bring them to the light.

I realized that I’m driving a Lamborghini while those in my world are still riding a horse.  I zoom down lanes that others haven’t even looked at and only slow down when they throw out the caution flag.  Don’t get me wrong without some of those caution flags I probably would have hit a wall or two… but their pace as a whole is slowing me down and I’m looking at a whole new track.  With the right team behind me the pace is picking up to a whole new level and I might take this baby for the ride of my life.

Every foodie needs to set their clock for August 8th  as our palate’s may never be the same. For that is that date Burger King will be releasing their Impossible Burger to the world to compete with their heavyweight the Whopper.  Yes, some of the elite foodies might wonder why I would “go there” but the Whopper is a classic that really hasn’t been matched bun for bun.  So keep August 8th open the Impossible just might come true to a palate in you.

These 4 words might be the best way to deal with a conflict before it actually erupts.  For no matter what you think someone says the meaning behind the words is what really counts. These 4 words leave an opening where the person who feels trapped  with other words they might not have meant or are just hurtful can escape from.  It allows you to better understand the other person as a well without putting them on the defensive.   “What do you mean” has more meaning then anything else one would have thought.

There was much contemplation going into this award and I want to say that there are no real losers except for maybe Lemons. I mean you all have special places in my heart and palate but tonight I had to pick just one so it goes to the Nectarine.  Your flavor out last the other fruits and taste great with every crunch. It is true that the Peach often outperforms but it’s furry surface leaves you with a bit of a creepy feeling. Raspberries hardly last the day and Apples are just too common. Therefore Nectarine it’s time for your award my mouth.

“Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” has added an extra bit of motivation toward my desire to create something truly “**ENTERTAINING**”.  For what I’ve just seen might be something someone is forced to watch in a film school but not what someone should spend their good earned $$$ and time to see. ” Once Upon a Time In Hollywood” was a piece of artistic trash that jumped from scene to scene without any true flow or coherence of what was the point in the 1st place. ” It was probably formatted to win some awards but not to entertain. Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” had it’s moments that came off crisp but the rest was so stale that it should have been thrown out in the trash. Thank you “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” for that extra inspiration to make sure my works will not end up in a similar location for the entertaining public.

I feel so lucky to be here. Well not actually here but breathing on my own. For other’s I’ve known have already left. I’m lucky to have a reason to want to keep this heart beating ….freedom for my people.  While other’s instead look for reasons to cut it short I plead  that the bruises and pain I suffer daily don’t take me away before I breathe in that breath with my people.  This cell maybe small and isolated but my mind is free to explore a world that these tyrants can’t take away. Someday G-D willing I’ll be free to complain about the limits of freedom but today I’m lucky to be alive and in the fight.

ADAM –  But I can’t be pregnant I don’t have the parts.

DOCTOR-  I understand but there was that major lightning storm 4 months ago.

REBECCA-  It’s impossible we haven’t done it in a year but….

ADAM – I’ve been faithfully I promise that….

DOCTOR –  How about your dreams.

ADAM-  My dreams that’s absurd.

DOCTOR–  Not really  sometimes what we dream about can come true in our real life.

REBECCA-  (Crying) You promised you would be faithful with me!

ADAM-  I was but my subconscious had different plans of it’s own for the dream world and this one as well.

Another mass shooting and the question must be asked why and how?  Why do individuals commit such heinous acts and how can we prevent them from occurring in the future? The easiest answer is to ban the tool(s) used in such a massacre but since those tools have been around for nearly a century and only relatively recently used for such evil then I don’t believe this will be effective. Therefore what has changed recently and just as significantly what can be done to prevent this evil in the future?  Here’s a few thoughts  (below) that should help but truthfully additional soul searching needs to occur immediately to prevent this horror in the future.

(1) PHARMACEUTICAL ASPECT- It appears that many of these shooters have been prescribed mental health medicines that have been more harmful then helpful. Individuals prescribed such medicines should continue to see professional counseling help throughout the years to insure they don’t become a threat to themselves or others.

(2) SOCIAL MEDIA- Individuals who commit such evil acts usually leave signs on social media that they are predisposed  to such evil.  Social media sites should be watched by professionals who are trained to see such signs and help individuals before they can become a real threat to themselves and/or society at large.

(3) MEDIA- Mass shootings draw out the media like no other story but also those who will do anything to become part of a story.  We can not stop the press from reporting such horrendous events but work together with them to lower their ability to attract copy cotters.

(4) END GUN FREE ZONES- Let it be posted in large print that all large areas where people might congregate will be guarded by individuals and/or armed drones who have the ability will and tools to defend the innocent.

(5) GUN SHOPS- Individuals who work and own such shops should be informed of any characteristics that fit a shooters profile and alert authorities of such individuals that they might encounter.
