Hopefully from the people who brought you “Smell The Dog” comes “Hear The Dog/Owl” a device that will let you know who really is around your house. “Hear The Dog/Owl will allow you to pick up the sounds that have your dog barking at night so you might be able to reduce both sounds. This device will give you the ability to hear a whole different world that you never knew existed and maybe even appreciate that quieter one your actually living in.
With “Smell The Dog” you’ll get a whiff of the aromas your four-legged friend has absorbed. This device will put a name to the fragrances that are in the air that your nose often misses allowing you to bond on a whole different level. It will also provide a more detailed description of those aromas in case you’ve never taken a whiff. “Smell The Dog” for there is a whole world out there that you’ve been missing that only one with a tail has previously enjoyed.
Two really? Who is the “other” one in my house? That’s right it’s my house and I don’t remember sending out an invite to someone else to join my “family”. Well, I’ll put up with him as long as he knows I’m the “Alpha” and he is a “Beta” or something lower than that. I guess it isn’t so bad for whom couldn’t use a little company even the king.
I’m going to try to keep any political bias out of this blog post and just present some uncomfortable facts (below) for us “all” to review. For only when we get a bit uncomfortable does the entire truth come out.
You may have the right to “your” music but not in my house/mind. What you intended your song to mean is something that I’ve decided to just ignore and even add my own lyrics to. While you would have left my house after seeing my betrayal of your song I’m keeping it for those who are fighting to stay alive every day in the womb and on the streets. You’ve written the song but now that it’s public our interruptions are as good if not better than yours and there is nothing you can do except reap the financial reward. Yes, you’re the artist but now we are the creator even if it’s your Frankstein.
I need to separate from Y-O-U to stay sane. Often it is in the same room although I occasionally have to go out and get some Milk even though I picked up some just a day ago. Yes, my eyes are closed even though my voice hears you call my name. I’m busy writing, reading, or playing a game especially as you try to put me in the pot you’ve stirred me in. My separation is not permanent but just enough that I don’t cross fall into your abyss. We live together although there are lines all around.

Y-O-U decide and I’m satisfied whichever way you choose. I’m just putting my name on the list so you have another option “out there”. I’ll let you know who I am, what I believe in, and the characteristics that are in my mirror and you’ll decide whether I’m worthy or should just it hang it up. Others will believe they are entitled because of this or that I just believe it’s up to you entirely. To conclude draft me if you want and I’ll do my best to serve and protect y-o-u as best as I can or decide to point the finger in a different direction that you believe is better. I leave it entirely with Y-O-U !
Because of this (above) I’m free. That’s right, I can basically say what I want without worrying it’s leading someone to something else because of the band on my hand. This band gives me the excuse why I can’t be with you even as everything else might have had you walking my way. I’m free to be myself completely without worrying where it might lead me unless I forget …what I was wearing.

When one swims with a shark they never know when they will BITE!!! This is what makes it so exciting whether it be in the water or on the land. The incredible exhilaration is when you are oh so close and can still swim away. Swimming with sharks is not what one normally wants to do but nobody really knows what’s in their ocean so best be ready and make sure you just keep swimming. Sharks are there ready to take a bite even if it’s just in your head.
In my day job very few look up to me but after hours my world sparkles. I work an honest day for honest pay yet after hours it’s who I know that counts. The truth is although I get insight from a higher power I pick up many others facts from a Ph.D. along my path as well. Many come from near and far to hear the insight that is provided on my path after the floors are swept but ignore who is actually sweeping. I’m like Superman with a mop instead of glasses unknown till I put down my broom and sweep away to the exit.
