You may have the right to “your” music but not in my house/mind. What you intended your song to mean is something that I’ve decided to just ignore and even add my own lyrics to. While you would have left my house after seeing my betrayal of your song I’m keeping it for those who are fighting to stay alive every day in the womb and on the streets. You’ve written the song but now that it’s public our interruptions are as good if not better than yours and there is nothing you can do except reap the financial reward.
