Life’s moments pass us by unless we truly hold onto the special ones with pride. Seeing my daughter graduate from college is such a moment that might make me see another gray or two but those are based on years filled with years happiness and love.  For she has achieved greatness in her own rank and no matter what the world throws her way they can’t take this day away.  Many a time I’m sure she felt it was all too much for her to acheive and yet not only did she make it but did it with brilliance. So I wear my gray hairs with pride knowing that wisdom,strength and love is something she can carry through for her next life’s journey.

Is this the look and/or feel you have when someone asks “that” question? A question that appear so bland like “how was your day? Did you like the food?” If that’s not annoying enough once you answer those questions then the  full interrogation   begins with dozens of questions coming you way.  Well maybe it how you look at the question that counts. For if you see the question as probing into your life then it’s truly 1/4 full but if you see it as a desire to become closer to you as well as someone really interested in YOU then it’s 3/4 full.  Of course I’m not naivve and realize some questions are meant to trap you in a box but for those that are really out of love why not show a little love back.  For we questions might be loving and curious isn’t it time you found that answer 1st?

Did I have two many or did I just see  a duck with no pants on? Now that Disney World is allowing drinking at all it’s restaurants you might not be able to tell.  Yes, the magic is back at Disney for those over 21 but remember that what goes down can go up and is Space Mountain the best place to test this theory?  It might appear to be magic when it first hits you but you will feel the pain in the morning.

Maybe I’ve been hurt so much that I can’t feel the pain anymore in my heart. For just as a lobster doesn’t realize that the heat is rising so I feel that I won’t react until it’s too late. If I search behind my shell the pain will ooze out but my conscious would rather have it hidden so it can propel me to action that I can control.  Yet lately the fault lines are opening and I’m afraid that my pain will only be anger at the end.

When you spend the last 25 years with the same person day after day there are definetly items you will forget.  So to insure my mind doesn’t go blank before such time here are a few that come to mind.  The list could be much longer but at least it’s a start that G-D willing won’t be finished anytime soon.

(1) FREE TIME- You have given me the space and time to think like nobody else because our hours and frequency can work at different times. This has given me opportunites and visions I would never have had with anyone else.

(2) TRIPS- We gone to places that I never dreamed of together and one’s that continue to drop into the bucket from Israel, Paris, Texas to Rhode Island. It’s been a trip worth seeing.

(3) DOGS- There is no way that our dogs would have had the life they have had without your continued care and love.

(4) SMALL THINGS- While others look to conquer the world you are happy just to go out to dinner or just be in loved ones company.

(5)  HONESTY- Your expression is right there open to the world with no mask or pretense behind it.

Just as I put up my surrender flag on one pile another one returns. It is if this endless mass of papers can not be stopped!  Horror movies may come to an end but papers can grow when and where you least expect them as they will continue to grow even after you’ve moved to an entirely new place.  Piles we can live without but will be there even after all our white flags have been exhausted.

Today marks the anniversary of one year of “NOTHING” except millions upon millions of wasted monies. For even those most committed to the “Hate Trump” movement have to admit that nothing really profound has come out of 365 days of investigation except that millions of your hard earned monies have been burned away. Imagine Trump Haters if we used those monies to insure that poor defendants could afford a proper defense, retrain prison immates so they have to job to return to when release, help to build more drug treatment facilities or any other of your “good hearted” liberal causes instead of funding Mr. Mueller’s suits and airplane expenses.   Maybe after a year we all can celebrate one thing that the time of unlimited special prosecutors with monies to be burned should come to an end.

Forget yanny or laurel for it’s obviously laurel now let’s discuss something more serious Chris or Bruce. I dare you to say Bruce with a NY accent and speed to someone not from this zipcode because they will automatically hear Chris.  While Yanny or Laurel has something to do with computer speak this Bruce and Chris is totally human and confusing for so many.  Which begs the question how many other words are we not hearing from each other or hearing them wrong? This is why we need the repeat button and even spell check to make sure what we heard is what we were supposed to hear in the first place. For it is not enough to listen but make sure our ears are not hearing things as well.
