In the end those that are more powerful then their opponents win except if the following cracks can be found.  This is not just found in blood thirsty dictatorships but in standard democracies as well.

and even our “common life”. For power is not only about controlling armies but controlling a conversation enough to win the war even if it means losing a battle.

(1) MORALITY-  Even the worst among us have some sense of morality (Hitler was good to dogs) and if you could some how break into it the wall might slowly crumble.

(2) EMOTIONAL-  A leader with an inspirational story or way of speaking can enable the masses or family to rise up against those pulling the strings.

(3) RIDICULE-  This lever has to be carefully placed in the most restrictive environment but even little signs of resistance can build into a movement. 

(4) MORE VISCIOUS-  Those that can go to an even more extreme tactic might be able to create enough fear to usurp power.

(5) HIGHER AUTHORITY- When a people feel that they are on a higher mission and will bear any cross or walk through the sea their is very little that can stop them from gaining power. 

Michele Obama said it best “When they go low we go deep”.  What you never heard that come from her mouth, oh that was because the last part was hidden.  For it appears while the Obama Administration was all smiles from the outside it’s tenacles went to destroy those who would try to intefere with them. Whether it was the IRS scandal that conveniently denied tax exempt status to those on the right to the down right spying on political opponents on the outside they appeared to be staying high but on the inside it was very low.  I would rather have someone spit in my face then have their deep state stab me in the back as they smiled. To conclude,  you may not alway like what you see with President Trump but at least you know what you are seeing which you can’t say occurred with the deep state Obama Administration.

Let’s me blunt it sucks to be wrong!   For at that moment you feel stupid, sad and confused in a combination plan.  The best way to conquer this lousy feeling is to be right ASAP. Even if the right’s are much smaller then the wrong as long as you keep adding them up your trunk can move in that direction as well.  In other words admit that lousy feeling quickly and move on for all those who share the earth with you have felt the same it’s only the time they keep that emotion that will determining how fast they can wag their tail.

I am the 1st person to walk down that dark alley not literally (probably) but figuratively. For I enjoy trying something new especially if it is a bit scary. Of course I’m not jumping off a cliff without a parachute but if there is one on the edge I might just take the leap. Even in the darkest paths there is gold for those who aren’t afraid to look so I will take that path and hope that I’m found some instead being found by something truly scary.

If you want to start a political movement keep it as simple as possible.  That might just be the problem with the President’s re-election campaign theme for it is  4 words.  In today’s  “Me Too” movement only two words stand out enough to grab everyone’s attention.  For people are either too busy or feel they are to read past the opening phrase. It must be catchy to get their attention and hold it long enough to attend a rally.  Simple enough to put on a button, protest sign or in one’s mind.  Yet let us remember simple might bring them in but often lengthy discussions which are in the weeds actually solve problems.

There are very specific moments when people will listen to you and other times they will make up their own version of what you’ve said.  That is why you must listen to see when those moments of open ears and minds can actually occur.  Here are a few ways you might be able to open an ear that usually doesn’t listen.

(1) HEAR W EMPATHY-  If you listen to their story with empathy their more likely to listen to your story as well.

(2) QUIET TIME-  I know in this world where everyone moves fast it’s hard to keep up but even the greatest runners need a breather. Run with them and make sure you’re there before they start their pace again.

(3) EATING-   Unless the food devours their mind because it’s out of this world many people will actually listen between bites. 

(4) COMPLIMENT-  Honey really opens the mind to all other flavors and voices.

It is important that those who lack find fault with those that have. For if they can find fault then it will help justify their own way of life.  When “they” do something “wrong” or even out of the rules they set then it helps to bend the rules even more to accept the way they live their own life.  Without the cynic then they may feel compelled to be pulled in the direction that the others live. Maybe just maybe they accept that they have their life as others have their own.  Just as one travels by boat in the sea another travels by raft all aiming toward the same shore of peace and happines even one is more wet then another.
