If you want to start a political movement keep it as simple as possible.  That might just be the problem with the President’s re-election campaign theme for it is  4 words.  In today’s  “Me Too” movement only two words stand out enough to grab everyone’s attention.  For people are either too busy or feel they are to read past the opening phrase. It must be catchy to get their attention and hold it long enough to attend a rally.  Simple enough to put on a button, protest sign or in one’s mind.  Yet let us remember simple might bring them in but often lengthy discussions which are in the weeds actually solve problems.

There are very specific moments when people will listen to you and other times they will make up their own version of what you’ve said.  That is why you must listen to see when those moments of open ears and minds can actually occur.  Here are a few ways you might be able to open an ear that usually doesn’t listen.

(1) HEAR W EMPATHY-  If you listen to their story with empathy their more likely to listen to your story as well.

(2) QUIET TIME-  I know in this world where everyone moves fast it’s hard to keep up but even the greatest runners need a breather. Run with them and make sure you’re there before they start their pace again.

(3) EATING-   Unless the food devours their mind because it’s out of this world many people will actually listen between bites. 

(4) COMPLIMENT-  Honey really opens the mind to all other flavors and voices.

It is important that those who lack find fault with those that have. For if they can find fault then it will help justify their own way of life.  When “they” do something “wrong” or even out of the rules they set then it helps to bend the rules even more to accept the way they live their own life.  Without the cynic then they may feel compelled to be pulled in the direction that the others live. Maybe just maybe they accept that they have their life as others have their own.  Just as one travels by boat in the sea another travels by raft all aiming toward the same shore of peace and happines even one is more wet then another.

Maybe it’s not as funny as they thought it would be and died before they even got to the punch line but it was produced just to make you LAUGH.  Just remember that the next time someone tells you a joke that is full of swiss holes because it’s way to cheezy.  Yes the joke should have been popped because it’s way to corny but shouldn’t you give them a brake for the effort. For most don’t care whether your frown stays down so the next time you give them the look of pain maybe a smile if not fake laugh is called for instead. They may never learn that there talents belong somewhere else but at least they are truly on your smiling side.

FOOTNOTE- If the joke is completely dead then it’s best they understand and bury it before more will suffer.

Mr. President to compare MS-13 gang members to animals is cruel to those in this kingdom. For even if animals perform acts less then human at least they don’t stoop in anyway to the cruelty of this gang.  A matter of fact there are more “humans” that are  vicious, blood thirsty killers then anyone in this kingdom would or could  ever be. For the greatest acts of evil against humans were not perpeturated by vicious animals but sadistic people. Lions, Tigers and Sharks might hurt or even kill one but humans can kill many more in ways that animals would never act.  If we can put an animal to sleep for doing damage to other humans surely we can put these creatures to permanetly sleep for worse.

FOOTNOTE- I apology to those “creatures” who were hurt by comparing these thugs to them.

When you reach out to give of yourself before you get something in return often you end up with more. For even if you don’t receive gratification from those you help you feel it inside as you have achieved something bigger then your own needs and desires. When one is struggling with a sickness sometimes the best remedy is to try and cure another.  Of course you have to take care of your basic needs before you help others and it’s fun to enjoy the rewards as well but it truly feels better to give then receive even from the giving side.

My brother is the one person I have probably been in his company more then any other person as our life’s go on. For not only have we grown up together but work together almost everyday.  Which can cause special feeling and moments to overlap each other until they fade away unto another. So here are just a few that stand out in this time period.

(1) MEXICO ATTEMPTED RESCUE-  You went to save my life as you thought I was drowing in the ocean only to find that it was an extended swim up a moutain. 

(2) GENORSITY –  Always the big brother who made sure he paid the receipt when it came to the table.

(3) FAMILY-   You’re concern to take care of those who have taken care of us goes well behind normal bounds so no wonder you’re the favorite.

(4) PERFECTIONIST-  You expect more from yourself then is needed and have pushed me to look in the mirror more then a dozen times.

(5) WORK-  Your ethic never leaves you even when others are sleeping.

(6) THERE-  When I need someone to be there for the big, sad and happy occassions you’re always one to find respond yes from Shower Singing to Y.R days.

(7) LEADER-  You quietly lead without looking for the glory or medals involved. 

(8) SURELY-  This word has been extinguished from my vocabulary as you reminded me over and over that Shirley wasn’t there.

This one above would not fit in the category of good unless you’re into that kind of thing (he’s sorta smiling) but this one below might just be your ticket.

   For that bug on your back can do more harm then the initial pain you feel.  Sometimes the slap can celebrate a moment of victory in which the person tapping was a bit too excited or strong.  A slap also can wake you up in time to fight the next round literally or figuratively.   Hi fives are a form of slapping each other in a congratulatory way. While clapping one’s hands is slapping oneselve to congratulate others.  So here is to a good slap nothing feels like it even if it’s hurts too good.
