Clothing Tribe

You often can tell the tribe that one wants to identify with by the clothes they wear. Whether it’s a difference in a religious following, cultural stand, or just what group you feel you belong too the clothes you wear reflect that identity.  Sometimes the differences are so minute between such groups that only a hat might be the only difference or  be so completely different that it appears one is far a different planet then the other. The problem though is once someone is identified in one group “the leader” might cause the rest of those who wear such attire to be pigeon holed in their image.

Yet what happens to the person who doesn’t want to fit in with just one group? Sometimes this person  might feel a bit more country then other times a bit more rock & roll and sometimes he just wants to ride a horse. This person’s wardrobe is as complicated as they are and that’s why I need a walk in closet how about you?

A BIT MORE DOG

Some dogs are more dog and some appear more human. Maybe it’s the clothes we put them in or the things that they put themselves that cause us to personify them so much. Don’t get me wrong dogs should be part of the family but they shouldn’t take your seat.  It’s hard though to get past their licks and what appear to be smiles not to see more in them then they actually have. Yet how many people will walk up to you and your lick face or sniff your butt (I don’t want to get too personal).  Sometimes you just have a bit more dog especially when you go to a place that this member is not allowed in…I’ll be back soon.

While SNL portrayed one version of Tracy Morgan the real version is truly hilarious.  Let’s face it the caricature that Tracy Morgan played on this show became predictable and after a while a bit tiresome.  Yet his humor was unleashed on the Howard Stern show to show his rapid fire of jokes that lasted throughout the interview. Offending everyone and offending know one at the same time.   If only I knew Tracy Morgan was this funny in the past my laugh bone would have been in better shape today.

South Carolina Secession Part 2

Could there be a repeat of this headline with an actual just cause this time ? South Carolina State Legislator Mike Pitts maybe become the Jefferson Davis of his lifetime if this G-D forbid actually came true.  For if the nation tried to eliminate the 2nd Amendment from the constitution I’m afraid we would truly end up being divided in two parts with no one really winning.  Let’s hope for the good of the whole country that our constitutional rights are protected as a whole and that a part II stays just a script not a call to action.

Absurdly… Offensive?

These jokes are patently offensive (above & below) but will they become the next victim of the P.C police? I offended myself by putting them up because they can “hurt” unless you understand that they are meant not to but reach for a funny bone where it couldn’t easily be found. Yes, those around us who are hateful might use them in their vile rhetoric but could others full of love make such jokes as well without being added to their list?  Should “jokes” be banned because they’re over the top or because they’re truly not funny? I guess in the end it depends who is telling them, where they are told, and what is the true intention? For that reason maybe let our funny bone be free to laugh at what it wants and let our legs walk out when it’s not moving.

FOOTNOTE–   I apologize in advance if anyone is hurt by this humor or if anyone laughed and felt they shouldn’t.  You can laugh though because I’m the one telling the jokes and my heart is truly full of love even if these “jokes” are full of laughs.

Rebellion Began

I never really fit in with any one group growing up as I was far from jock, fashion king and wasn’t even nerdy enough to fit in the category, yet that was just the start of the walk toward rebellion.  For when everyone in “my group” thought one way I decided to try and think a totally different way just to see where the grass was really blue.  Yet the show “Jewtopia” took me over the edge as every stereotype expected of those within “the tribe” had me open my closet to reveal I was truly a rebel.  I might except most of the faith observation but trust me I don’t fit any of their categories or for that matter any other category one might try to pigeon hole me in. For  I am Bud Rebel a  rebel with many a cause!

Jessica Jones

Jessica Jones might be one of the greatest cinematographic achievements on Net Flix  today with the camera actually becoming a part of the action.  You can also add a whole bunch of stars to the performance of Krysten Ritter who is one of the most fascinating characters on any screen.  Even if sometimes you wonder if a scene is necessary or a bit too much you can’t stop watching for what will occur next.  Warning once you start watching it might be difficult to make any other plans.

FOOTNOTE-  Warning– Although I feel this show is great piece of art it definitely swings against many of my moral and political views and for those with similar views. It’s worth skipping these scenes trust me.

FOOTNOTE of FOOTNOTE – I will only add to my notes not delete them but after episode 6 and 7 I think this show has jumped the Shark and maybe my T.V habits. It’s falling fast from it’s original premise.

CORRECTION–    Episode 8 has made me feel bi-polar as I jumped with the Shark back into the series. It made up for many of the misses in the previous episode. I guess I’ll stay tuned.

CONCLUSION-  Season one well worth your time  even if you can’t fast forward some of the over the top, politically correct and boring scenes.  For the artist achievement is brilliant!!

Imagine – PLEASE SHARE- Save the World

PLEASE SHARE IF NOT THE POST THEN THE THOUGHTS

I’ve written probably thousands of posts over 5 years (or so) but this is probably the most important because if it was read and observed it would literally save the world!  The strange thing is I try to be original with my ideas but this is one thread that is written about in all different faiths and even those of little faith yet never fully weaved because many including myself forget the stitch.  “Love others as thy love thyself”.  Imagine if these 6 words were strictly observed we would see just a few of the following (below) and the world would truly be saved.  We should follow all the rules that get us closer to this ideal and I believe we will truly be worthy of the welcoming of the Messiah and G-D’s true message to us all.

1. NO MASS SHOOTINGS-  No one could kill another if they truly loved them as thyself.

2. TRUE LOVE FOR THYSELF-  If we love another then we must truly love our self

3. LOVE ALL LIFE-  From the day of conception of to the day of passing we would cherish all human life and would not allow means to take one away before their time.

4. NO RAPE/SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND IF…  How could we put someone we love through an experience that we wouldn’t want to go through ourselves?

5. END OF BULLYING/RACISM/POLITICISM/PREJUDICE AS A WHOLE- There is no way to hate and to love at the same time.

6. NO SOCIALISM AND NO POVERTY-  People wouldn’t be jealous of another’s success and those with success would truly try to spread the wealth.

7. TRUE FORGIVENESS-  Grudges and vindictiveness would end and we would forgive as we would want to be forgiven.

8. GREATER WEALTH-  For some it would be in their pocketbook but in others it would be in their heart and soul.

ETC, ETC, ….ETC

FOOTNOTE–   I know for now it is just a dream but if in our own way we all (including myself) did a bit more then this one path would be brighter every day for all those that walked.

Would You Stay

Money falling from sky

If money was basically falling from the sky would you take the time to stay? Even if you know the resources you bring to the table can’t easily be replaced would you look for a lounge chair instead? Some still stay in their positions not for what it gives to them for they have enough but what they can give as an individual. These might be called workaholics but maybe they just want to stay so they can still be here. For even if you have all the money in the world it still takes effort to be deserving to stay in this place or get a key to the gate. Work might be just the key they need to keep going even if  others decided they’d rather leave.

I usually try to have pictures that are related to the blog post I’m writing but as it relates to California Disasters I’m afraid I would need several pages of just pictures.  For California has the disasters  that others have had to endure man made and born of a higher authority just not in one area.  The list includes earthquakes, mudslides, wildfires, terrorist attacks, mass shootings, riots and I’m afraid I’ve just got started. It appears to be a beacon of what can go wrong in one state and how one might try to recover.  California makes the headlines but all for the wrong reason(s). May G-D help the people of California find a different path with less to write about and live with.
