The tragic suicide of Chester Bennington has led many to a zoo. For although I’m sure Lincoln Park Zoo has some great new exhibits the similarity in the spelling to Linc…. oops Linkin Park has led many down to the animal kingdom. Yes I’m sure the new Penguin exhibit is quite exciting but Google Search has found it to be more popular then any penguin has before. Which leaves me to the conclusion spelling still counts.
We mourn the death of Chester Bennington a man who’s huge talents gave us eerie picture of the pain that was burning inside him. If we had listened more carefully maybe we could have done more to help him escape from this pain. While many musicians use the sounds they make to escape from a painful reality it appears that Chester Bennington let it build up until it was too much for him to take. May the death of such talent let us make a greater effort to listen to the cry’s of those suffering from mental health problems and take the steps needed to help them toward recovery.

What would be more exciting then playing a game of craps, playing a game of double craps? Where 2 shooters roll the dice at the same time and you on the table get to decide to bet on either of them or both at the same time. Double craps will allow you to make or lose $’s quicker but automatically be the most exciting game in the house.
Will some network programmer produce the reality show “OJ Simpson search for the killer of Nicole Simpson & Ron Goldman”, after he is released from prison, on a different charge? It appears totally wrong but know one could deny it would be popular and if by some bizarre chance they found another murder suspect(s) the world would appear a whole lot more just. I’m not in the market to watch or make such a production but I wonder if it’s not in the mind of someone else? WOULD YOU WATCH?
When your father is Tom Cruise or Tom Brady how can you compete? A matter of fact it’s not only the lifestyles of the rich and famous that are hard for children to compete with but any rags to medium riches as well. For the children of such parents must find their own identity in a world where their parents have stolen the spotlight. It is so difficult for these children to compete in the industry of their own parents that most must find their own identity in a whole different world. These children in someway must be able to say that what they achieve may not be a glorious as their parents but is good in their own right and when they do they can “accept who they are” as well as who their parents are.
During one’s life you may feel you “hate” an individual but until you hear “bleak” news you truly don’t know. Many in the G.O.P have felt hate to John McCain as they say he has become part of the system but I dare say that one doesn’t pray that he receives a quick full from the malignant brain tumor he suffers from. “Usher” on the other hand is reported to have known and given an SDI to a woman he spent the night with does this woman hate him enough to want him to suffer the ultimate penalty? Which leads us to O.J. Simpson who appears to have gotten away with butchering/murdering Nichole Simpson as well as Ron Goldman. When we think about the evil actions this man appears to have taken our hate grows so that we would believe it pure justice if the door he opens out of prison (on a different charge) lead him to the hell he deserves.
Any Republican Senator that won’t vote to repeal Obamacare must be thrown out by Republicans and Democrats in the next election cycle. For it isn’t just about whether you agree with or disagree with Obamacare but about cynical politicians who only vote for things when they know it won’t make a difference. Simply put if you voted to repeal Obamacare when President Obama was President then you must have the decency to stand by your vote when President Trump is leading the nation. They knew that President Obama would never sign an appeal of his signature legislation so they could pretend they were strong but now their bubble is about to burst. It is if these Senators only invite you to a party when you’re out of town. Let’s make sure such politicians stay out of our house and be sent home instead.
FOOTNOTE- I was always for repealing Obamacare and have pledged $$’s to primary such legislators who want stand by their previous actions.
Over the last 5 years I’ve probably wrote several pieces that I would be disgusted with today but they will remain. For they are a time shot of who I was at the moment I wrote them whether they be good, bad or even ugly. Of course if I can add a comma or period where one was missing I will but the message has and will always be uncensored. Regret I might have a few but at least I am true to who I am today and yesteryear.
I’ve done my Joel Olson for 2 days as I smiled through some annoying people and events. It has not been easy and I’m not sure whether in the long term it will literally drive me insane but it has helped me recover from the annoyances a whole lot quicker. For now I will try to calmly state my case even as the heat is up and hopefully my cheek bones will follow afterwards if not at least I survived my first 48 hours.

The tables have turned on the sexes and now so should the doors and the garbage. It’s time for affirmative action for men as we will now wait for woman to hold the door open for us and even take out the garbage. As the woman jobs have moved to the men’s side of the aisle’s then it’s time for the men to move a few to our side as well. For over 50 years real men have been opening doors and taking out the garbage so 50 years from now we can start doing it again. I’m waiting …. and waiting… and …. Well maybe we’ll start this in another 50 years after you Madam.
