While some might be jealous of those who are sipping Pina Coladas in the sun at least we can feel the CRUNCH.  That’s right we in the north east have that special privilege that those in the warmer climates will never experience the winter Crunch. They might taste a crunch here and there with their favorite potato chip but they will never get to walk in our white crunch every step of the way.   I can’t deny a bit more sun and warmth would be nice once it moves to the next but at least the crunch will help us feel a bit more warm.

The terrorist attack in Berlin and Turkey are truly frightening because they are so hard to prevent.  How can you stop an individual from making a vehicle a deadly weapon or worse yet make sure those that are trusted to secure the peace don’t bring about death instead? In Berlin a truck that is used to make deliveries was used by a terrorist to bring death and destruction to those in an outdoor mall while in Turkey a security official entrusted to secure life killed the Russian Ambassador in cold blood.  It goes back to the fact that government must do more to watch those who have a propensity for such violence even if it means profiling. Profiling should occur especially with those individuals who fit a certain type of emotional characteristics that can lead up to such hideous despicable acts.  G-D willing our fears will lead to better security and safety for all good people.

If I had to change one thing in my life I think I would work on an Israeli Kibbutz. This way I could develop talents and skills in fields I may never knew I had plus meet people from all around the world. I’ve come to this  determination because I’m considering having my son take this jump.  It’s a scary move since he’ll be so far away but if he gets 60 % of what I wish I got then it would be a success.  I guess if you can’t live it at least let your children experience it!

For a saver life me Kohl’s is just the right department store. Every item appears to be on sale even if the list price might exist in another dimension. The cashier will somehow find an extra coupon to save you additional $$’s when checking out and let’s not forget the cash. Of course you have to spend the Kohl’s Cash at  Kohl’s but it’s real money and it you don’t spend it all then well then it’s kept on your account to spend later.  It’s brilliant marketing that keeps you loyal to their store .  I’m not sure how with customers such as me they can continue to make money that is unless I suddenly lose some cash or decide to spend a bit more.  Kohl’s a Department Store for saver’s and spenders such as me.

Of all the arguments those that oppose President Elect Trump have made his intellectual prowess appears to be their sharpest until Henry Kissinger walks into the room.  No matter what you think of Mr. Kissinger’s policies & successes nobody will ever call him an intellectual lightweight. Therefore when former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger says “that Donald Trump could achieve something remarkable in foreign policy” & ” he could go down in history as a remarkable President” well then even Donald Trump’s strongest critics must think twice. Sometimes those who express ideas in the simplest terms might  have a great deal of depth behind those words that could surprise everyone or as Donald might say keep it simple for the world but in depth to those that need to know.

Zsa Zsa Gabor opened the door for individuals such as the Kardashian’s to walk in whether it was from the front or back.  She was classy from the way she walked to the way she spoke and although she was more famous for whom she was married to then what she actually accomplished there was something very special about who she was. It was that extra touch of class that brought down many a man and kept her in the spotlight well past the starlight’s that sparkled for that moment. RIP Zsa, Zsa Gabor a woman who was not ashamed of being the jewel of any party.

I believe being a Rebel is in me the way that blood in a cut.  Even my birth is rebellious as I was born on the cusp between Aquarius and Capricorn.  My rebellious nature might have been inspired by being the youngest of my entire family, cousins included. Then the breeding began as I was the outsider where everyone else in my family was inside. Whether it was being picked “left out” when it came to team sports or watching even my teacher dump my rbooks (it was actually a desk).  I felt more for those outside the main street then those who lived on main street.  Rebel with a cause and damn proud of it!

     I’m considering writing a book about the most traumatic experiences of my life and already have several thoughts on the opening line. I believe it is a book that needs to be written but I’m not sure I have it in me to write well at least I have the 1st line…. I think.  COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS ARE WARMLY WELCOMED. 

OPTION 1

Murder seeped through my very heartbeat and burned my soul as I needed to seek justice until a new light shine upon me.

  OPTION 2

Life appeared anew in one moment and then appeared to end in the next all because of a despicable lie meant to rip apart my very being.

OPTION 3

At that moment I envied death for at least there would be an end to the anger and pain that burned through me as if I was a pig slowly roasting on a spit.

The claim of “Fake News” should first be applied to  Hollywood as based on truth story really is  based on a true sentence or even word. So many of the based on “A True Stories” have very little to do with the truth unless it comes in the color of green. For movies that put this little carrot in their poster have much more carrots and diamonds coming their way and nobody actually checks the validity of such a claim. “Allied” is another example where a 3rd hand account with no fact checking has moved this in the “based on  true story” catalog. You can add 90% of horror movies to this category who want their viewers to believe that this really existed even if it’s just the title.  “Based on a True Story” where the only truth is the story.
