Today she’s brilliant for while most of us with 2 legs will push ourselves through the mush of snow and slush she decides it’s best to rest.  What brilliance she won’t wait through the traffic just get to another soggy place.  This is precisely the type of brains we could use with our two legs while we work our tails off they’ll be relaxing in a nice comfortable home now who is really the smarter species?

Today as I awoke I felt I might have the same wardrobe problem as my fellow characters above have had.  They actual might not consider this a problem for they never appear to feel uncomfortable lacking this basic clothing item but for me it would cause a bit more of a draft and probably some legal action as well as a mental health evaluation.  Luckily after digging a bit deeper in my draws this fruit was found on it’s loom and my cartoon character morning was put to an end.  Hey Bo, Bo I’m back but I’ve replaced my tie with the clothes I really need.

I knew of a woman that lived 99 years on this earth and when she moved on only 20 people came to say goodbye. I’m sure in those 99 years she has had an impact on thousands who would have said goodbye most may have already departed but a few still must remain and not know she has moved to a higher place. That is just one reason when I’m still here and able to use my facilities that I must try to have a positive impact on as many people as I can.  For who knows what tomorrow will bring and how soon that date might appear when I too will be forgotten.

We go to a doctor with  12 degrees on the wall but he has no idea what’s wrong with you while your car mechanic spots the problem in a minute; it’s not the education that matters but what we retain the truly counts.  Retaining that education must mean practicing in the real world on real time not cramming for the latest exam.  How do you see this type of diploma on anyone’s wall or in anyone’s mind?  Even those with degrees and retention may actually have difficulty expressing such concepts to real people on real time. Therefore real brilliance lies in the ability to retain the information and express it in a way that get r done no matter how many books and plaques you might have missed to get there.

Before you tear your heart, soul and wallet out preparing for that “ACTING ROLE” let me teach you 2  basic rules that might come in handy. These two rules could be used for any acting role whether it be T.V, Movies, or the Theater and although they are basic they are probably left out in many of the greatest professors classes.

WAITING-  To act is to wait! If you have to be somewhere before or after a shoot this might not be the career move for you. For acting is not only the skill done at the moment but the ability to wait to share that skill with the world or at least your director. 

LISTENING- You can feel the passion of your character coming through but if you aren’t willing to listen how the Director see’s it you will be out of focus. For acting is pretending but in the house and mind of those that lead such a production not entirely on your own.

My dogs contain the two sides of my brain. There is the Serious Sidney side that is committed to the daily activities and the Silly Cinnamon side that tries to find some fun in almost anything I do. These two sides compete for my attention as do my two dogs and at times one side appears to be in total control until the other side pops in.    It’s great to have these dogs which help me realize who I am and help me balance my dog (Freudian slip) so as to insure I accomplish my goals and have fun along the way.
