This year I want to openly wish my Jew & Gentile brothers & sisters L’Shana Tova wishing all good people’s a year of health, happiness, success and peace.  Why should I reserve this greeting to people of my own faith when I have so many other friends from different faiths that I want to share in this blessing.  May they wish me a Merry Christmas as well for even though my faith doesn’t follow the Christmas belief’s why can’t that day be Merry for me.  G-D I pray that my acts of faith in the holy days to come are worthy to bring about such a blessing and we all can witness your greatness in happiness together.

Pride should come from what you achieve with what you’ve been given and this year it’s spelled starting with a M. For the Met’s were all but written off in the playoff race in August after some devastating injuries to their prime players but some how managed to use every shoe string they can find to put W’s in their columns, all the way to playoff birth.  The Met’s  fan have another year to show their Orange & Blue being the underdog(s) that prove hard work and determination can spell success M-E-T-S.

Sometimes it’s just so wrong but it’s hysterical. SNL did it again last night with an opening skit that teared into Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton and shredded them with laughter.  The punches were flying all over the place as SNL took on the Presidential Debates with balanced humor only they could perform.  If you don’t believe me watch it yourself.

It feels it must be true then it is, even if everyone around says otherwise. I love this ”      ” so much how could it be wrong.  It is what keeps my heart pumping when everyone around me is flat lining. There must be more then it is written or seen by others and even myself for this time when I bang my head against the wall it will open. My emotions will make it happen or leave me die trying.

Live and learn is really live and remember. What you remember will determine whether you have seen the cup more empty or full in your lifetime and how it looks today.  We shouldn’t forget the wrong(s) that have been done in our life or we’ll never learn.  Yet for most  this won’t be a problem as they will leave a scar that is hard to hide but if we search deeper we find extraordinary kindness and generosity surrounding such a wound. Where individuals went out of there way to celebrate a wonderful event in your life or showed an extra bit of compassion when things went in the opposite direction.

I remember such an individual who without fanfare returned a great deal of monies to me after it was lost and other individuals who stopped by to see when I was in the hospital, I truly have been blessed. Yes as an Elephant I do always remember those who have betrayed me or purposely hurt me. I hope  that over time I will continue to see the beauty that surrounds my scars never allowing them to totally fade away but at the same time making sure the  good lessons take the most of my time.

In the next few days being a Matthew will be harder then being Green.  For Matthew will not be invited to any parties unless it’s the wildest and craziest party of them all.  It surely will be the name people will be talking about but not in a positive light.  So if you’re a human instead of a storm when people speak your name understand it’s the other Matthew way out in the sea and G-D willing will stay there for most of us.
