I either take things too seriously or not enough.  There are times when everything appears as if it belongs on an SNL skit or other times on Law & Order. Here are just a few examples (below) of the unjust scale in my head.

TOO SERIOUS

1. MY MISTAKES- The mistakes I’ve made sometimes harbor in my head much longer then anyone’s head.
2. WORK- I’ve worked for most of my life and only recently have discovered the importance of some rest and relaxation (just some)
3. TIME- Fear of wasting time has made even moments of relaxation restless.

NOT SERIOUS ENOUGH

1. MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS- I don’t seriously contemplate what I’ve achieved in my life and as such keep moving as if nothing occurred in the past.
2.  G-D’S ROLE-  Taking the time to figure out how each piece is forming a greater picture is something I seriously miss out on.
3. POWER- I’ve only recently discovered the influence I have on others especially loved ones whether it be by words or actions.

Even I’m excited about this fashion news “the dress that Marilyn Monroe wore when she sang happy birthday to President John F Kennedy is up on the auctioning block”. It’s not only a dress but a part of a mysterious history that leads to many a conspiracy theory. What is amazing is how well this dressed has been preserved after so many years and what price this dress will receive on the auctioning block in November.  I can guarantee you one thing the person who buys it will probably never wear it and if they do it will be far from any foods or liquids.

There was a time when a new I Phone was an event that the world waited with anticipation but today it’s just a bunch of technocrats.  For the I Phone had innovation that even those who weren’t phone savoy were enticed to buy one but today it’s just little tweaks that only those who are true Apple Addicts will get excited back such as a fancier camera and new port for the ear phones.  It’s time to put Steve Jobs memories into reality and create Apple products that truly create a revolution for all technocrats and even us regular people.

When did I get old?  Not in actually age but in the age my children see me.  There was a time when my children would be excited to tell me the most mundane activities of their day now it’s as if they think I can’t hear or am so old I wouldn’t understand. It is if we come from a different planet although we have lived in the same house. I continue to feel, look  (just a few gray hairs) and act young (at least to my dogs) but in terms of my children I probably appear like the man in the picture above.  Oh well I guess there helping me plan to be his age.

No matter how tough and unaffectionate you might appear to be just the look of baby,dog or cat will change your ways as if you went under some holy water.  Even the look of such cuties can change one’s heart but why does this occur. I believe it is their innocence that takes us back to a better place where we felt uncontrollable warmth and affectionate for others without precondition. May their looks continue to shine through your heart and soul even if it’s  a tough day so those around you will feel your warmth as if they could bark, meow or just plain giggle.

It’s the Tuesday after summer ends which means back to school and work.  Either way it will be a Terr Tuesday which could lead to Terrific or Terrible.  A Terrific Tuesday will occur even if the traffic is a bit heavier (a whole lot of bits) because it might mean more excitement and activity at your work location.  A Terrible Tuesday on the other hand could result from exhausting traffic and endless work that continues to pile up. I guess it depends on which Mea Monday you choosing. The Monday that adds value to your whole as it is is meaningful or the Mean Monday that is cruel to your relaxation you enjoyed over the weekend.  Which of course leads to a Wild Wednesday and as you know Wild can be crazy or just insane.  Ow what will this week bring?
