I fear that with all the attention on Radical Islamic Terrorist that one sick, evil individual will attack on innocent person(s) of the Muslim faith and that the spotlight will all of a sudden be placed on such an attack.  The news will stop covering the 100’s if not 1,000’s of individuals who were previously attacked by the Radical Islamic Terrorist and focus instead on this one attack. Helping to spread a narrative that doesn’t exist and can only motivate those who would be driven by a Radical Islamic philosophy for more reprisals. The recent killing of 5 white police officers in Texas is  just one an example of such violence that the media can perpetrate when spreading a news narrative. G-D willing my fears will not become reality and an end of innocent violence will come to an end in my lifetime.

I believe the society we live in causes many on the fridges to become insane, especially as it deals with paranoia.  All it takes is one incident to push a person over the line and with 24 hour news cycles, conspiracy radio, as well as an internet that provides constant data it’s amazing that more haven’t fallen over this edge.  In the past you might here a news story of death/destruction and then a different story would appear but today you can actually consume every moment of your day with this fear.  We can’t hide our head in the sand when incidents occur but we must still be able to smell a rose without worrying about be blown up.  With all the advance in modern communications maybe we’re creating more mental health problems then we could imagine?

The vicious attack on soft targets by terrorist means we all must be better prepared in case G-D forbid we’re caught in such an attack. When you’re with loved one’s or friends planning to attend an event that could be a “soft target” here are a few issues (below) I believe you should discuss in advance.

(1) EXITS- No where the closest exits to escape an attack are located and how you could get to them.

(2) MEET UP- If you lose each other what is a safe close location that you can meetup at.

(3) DEFENSE- How would you defend yourself against an attack.  Would you be the type of person who plays dead, hides in a corner, runs away or tries to attack from behind?

An act leads to a reaction too many times in the negative rather then positive realm.  The reason this occurs is those who refused to act will feel some uncomfortable from your step outside their bounds, they might be jealous that you’ve done what they’ve only thought, and fear the new.  Many will search to find the smallest  cracks in your decision and try to make them appear as large as a sink hole swallowing up everything good around them.  Therefore many people will fear to act knowing that conformity brings peace in their wrong even if it hurts them and those around them.  It isn’t even being that rebel but someone’s got to do it if things will truly change for the better and understanding others reaction in advance helps you boost your flag for the long term.

It’s an investment that G-D willing will pay returns every year of your life and even after that period.  Many people stop investing once it has matured but in many ways that’s the best time to put monies in. Of course this good investment doesn’t always pay out but if you stick with it year after year your sure to feel better then you would with any stock, bond, or other financial interest.   Your children may not realize the monies you’ve spent on them especially as they get older but knowing that you have helped your own be successful and/or happier throughout their life is the greatest investment a person can make.
