Cat Steven’s/Yusaf Islam was put on the terrorist watch list for support of terrorist network such as Hamas and monies that have gone to Omar Abdel-Rahman, the blind Egyptian sheik convicted of seditious conspiracy for plotting to bomb New York City landmark, although he claims he isn’t of such accusation. The truth is he made some wonderful music good enough to put in the Rock & Roll Hall of fame so what is the right position to take? I’ve decided that because he wasn’t convicted of any crime and because this song is so powerful that I would put it up but as a cover just in case any of those monies he would receive would go to an evil cause.
