An adult is not based on an age or what you’ve achieved but who you are as a person (see below). For some becoming that person will occur when they hit their teens but for most it won’t occur till they’re truly on their own and then there are some that are still searching.
(1) OWN SKIN– An adult knows the positive and negative factors about themselves and works productively with that understanding. They are neither embarrassed nor brash about either of the factors they are just who they are.
(2) EMPATHETIC – This individual can and often does fit there own feelings in someone else’s body.
(3) SELF CONFIDENCE- Adults have the ability to go for some goal or let it wait till the time is right. They have the confidence in themselves to know when to speak but also when to listen. They walk with the feeling of success not just in their achievement but of those close to them as well. Adults have the self confidence to applaud others and themselves with the correct balance.
