CNN PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE 2015

As a Political Junkie last night I got my fix but the day after is what really counts.  Which candidates will help me get through the day without having to sneak more of this addiction? I’ve picked the winner of the debate but in most cases they either were positive for the campaign, negative for the campaign or just neutral with tidbits along the way.   They are placed in order of winners at least at first.  I have also decided to list the neutral candidates that aren’t drawing much attention together as a group.   Please share your thoughts as well.

WINNER -Carly Fiorina – She had depth, emotion, humor and honesty all wrapped up in a face we all should look at. The only negative is sometimes she extended her point past the moderation tolerance and she tried to jump in but considering the moderators I believe some jumping was called for.   A- Moved Up

Marco Rubio- His depth of foreign policy was unmatched except for Mrs. Fiorina as well as his passion.  He should have jumped in the debate a bit earlier, his jokes missed their mark and he appeared at times to be reading from his campaign speech. B + Moved Up

Donald Trump- Showed a more compassionate side if only for a moment, was a bit less antagonistic  and was the funniest by far. Yet never showed any depth he didn’t lose any support but didn’t gain any major support. I moved him up since he was nicer.   C + Moved up (just inch)

Jeb Bush- Had a moment or two of passion especially when speaking about his brother but still was less then exciting.  Resume talk also can be wasted time away from policy yet his passion probably helped him add a vote or two. C + Positive

NEUTRAL – Scott Walker, Mike Huckabee, Ted Cruz, Rick Santorium, Chris Christie, Lindsey Graham, Bobby Jindal

Rand Paul- Was left as the eleventh person on the table and although had different positions on the issues then the other candidates didn’t appear to have the same passion as the last debate.  C- Negative

Ben Carson- He came across as bland without the humor or depth ( especially on foreign policy) that would have helped him continue his rise. C- Negative

John Kasich- Appeared to be whining at various parts of the debate and lacked the passion he had at the first debateC- Negative.
