My hat

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Faith - No Comments

hats

I wear a hat on most occasions and it’s not because I have something growing on my head (I think) but it’s because of my faith in G-D.  In the Bible/Torah there is a section called the Shema which is extremely holy to the Jewish faith.  The first paragraph reads.

Hear, O Israel, the L-rd is our G-d, the L-rd is One

You shall love the L-rd your G-d with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words which I command you today shall be upon your heart. You shall teach them thoroughly to your children, and you shall speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road, when you lie down and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for a reminder between your eyes. And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and upon your gates

By wearing a hat I’m able to look and see the rim of my hat. This is my sign that is between my eyes that I love G-D and that G-D is present all the time.  I only wear a yamaka/skull cap when I go to Shul because of tradition or in places that don’t allow me to wear a hat. The reason I won’t wear a Yamaka all the time because I don’t follow all the “traditional/Talmudic” rules that others who wear this item would and therefore don’t want to appear hypocritical or even sacrilegious to the more traditional Jewish or Gentile person.

Thank you President Obama.

President Obama 2

I’m truly grateful for the President for showing me that errors and mistakes are best to be ignored. I’m still working on overcoming my guilt problems but by following the President example I know I can truly feel free to commit any act and just smile along the way.  Here are just a few ways that the President has shown me the path.

(1)   I used to have deep regrets when I purchased an item from my business that didn’t sell but if the President doesn’t worry about the extra trillion here or there why should I be so concerned.

(2) It troubled me when my involvement in a conflict didn’t work out the way I expected but my problems were with individual people while his are with countries (Iraq, Israel, Germany) and if it wasn’t any skin off his back well why should it bother me.

(3) It used to ruin my day when I got a speedy ticket for breaking the law but if the President get bend a rule here or there why shouldn’t that speedy ticket really bother me.

(4) Guilt would bring me down during vacation time because I felt I’d leave my responsibilities behind yet the President’s ability to not miss a putt or fundraiser during a crisis has relieved me from this stress.

Therefore I want to thank the President who has helped demonstrate you can be a complete failure and still feel good about yourself.

Thank you Sean Hannatty & my other Christian brothers and sisters

christian and jew

I want to unequivocally thank you Sean Hannatty and my other Christian brothers and sisters for being such continually supporters of Israel even during such difficult times as the recent battles in the Gaza Strip. When it appeared like the world was turning away from the truth many in the Christian community went out of there way to make sure the facts were told about how Hamas was bringing this war on itself. They not only supported Israel with words but deeds as exemplified by Sean Hannatty who told the truth and even spent a week in Israel reporting that truth. Yet this wasn’t enough for many in this wonderful community because many donated monies and time to support Israel. While many may question the motives behind such support there generosity and love is the one motive that stands above all else. I for one will be eternally grateful for it and pledge to do the same when my Christian brothers and sisters are attack whether it be in ISIS Iraqi or by simple Anti-Christian terms here in the state.  We stand united and G-D willing won’t ever be defeated.

“Future Script”….. REVELATIONS

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, movies - No Comments

I started work on this script (concept below) but haven’t got to far because I realized it would take a great deal of funds for it to produce but I believe it’s an awesome concept. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

running away

Imagine a world where every time you tried to accomplish something that would help you move ahead it would suddenly fall apart at the last moment. Maybe a freak accident would occur with the individual you were supposed to meet or the location you had picked would suddenly flood out.  It’s like someone or something was purposely trying to keep you down.  Imagine then finding out that this was truly the case and that you’re actions could truly save the world or have it destroyed. What if  “Revelations” is truly the story that needs to be told before it’s too late.

Israeli defense for the future

tunnels

Israel must do whatever it can to prevent the building of restoring of tunnels from Hamas.  To insure that they prevent such offensive action counteroffensive actions must occur (see below). This way the Israeli people can feel more secure in their homeland.

(1) Cement should be sold in only block form that has GPS devices randomly placed in such units that will enable the Israeli military know whether they would be used for construction of houses verses tunnels.

(2) Sensitive Seismographs and sonar technology must be utilized to pick up the sound and or vibration that occurs from developing such tunnels.

(3) Intelligence gathering in the Gaza Strip must be intensified to discover the short term plans of terrorist groups such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

(4) Any machinery that can be utilized to develop such tunnels must be carefully monitored and have tracking devices on them.

The Fountain of Success

fountain

People have been searching for the “Fountain of Youth” but have taken the wrong turn and instead should look for the “Fountain of Success“. Success brings a youthful look to your entire being.  Yet success should not be rated by the car you drive or the house you live in although those can be milestones for some but by the lives you have been able to touch in someway within the limitations G-D has bestowed upon you. This means a sick person in the hospital who continues to smile and bring warmth to a loved one who takes care of them may be just as successful as Donald Trump. A person who is severely mentally challenged graduating H.S could be just successful as that Harvard Doctorate.  The great thing about this form of success is only you and G-D above no when you’ve truly achieved it.  Therefore continue this search everyday and the fountain will be around the corner.

What do you think …. Facebook Levels?

Posted by Bruce - in Blog, Business - No Comments

highest level

The problem with “Social Media” is there aren’t different levels between individuals. This doesn’t have to be based on any class (although it could be) but on how much we can deal with and what we can truly bring to a discourse.  The way this would work is you would have to get through each level and be accepted by the group to make it to the next level. Of course each level would be more prestigious and have more privileges such as Titanium credit card but also would enable you to inter react  with those within your niche.

(1) LEVEL ONE- Application required- Must be over 21 and a college graduate with GPA over 3.0.  At this level you not only can like people’s comments but hate them as well with a rating scale.

(2) LEVEL TWO- For those who are able to deal with the scorn of level one in a respectful and mature way this level might be right for you.  Approved application required as well but this time you will put into a category that best describes your current position (MD, entrepreneur, artist etc) A board will occasionally review your comments and responses to determine whether you continue to meet their standards.

(3) LEVEL THREE- This level is for those high achievers. The comments you’ve made in level two will so impress the board that you’ll be invited to this level. Only 1 % of those who participate in Level two will be able to achieve such status.

Is this invented “Seatinbetween”

 squishee

I GUESS GREAT MINDS REALLY DO THINK ALIKE…

How many times have you lost keys, money, the cell phone, and other valuable items in between the car seat?  You have to squeeze your hand trying to avoid it getting stuck or injured as you try to retrieve these valuable items.  I hope the “Seatinbetween” exists and will help us solve this problem.  This items should be made up of memory foam so it can easily squeeze in between any car seat.  The “Seatinbetween” enables the driver and passenger to easily pick up those items that have fallen in-between without the need of a surgical team.

Antisemitism?

anti-semitism

I’ve tried to refrain from using the word in the past because I believe it is creates a crutch which can excuse your own behavior but when it looks and sounds like a duck it’s a duck and I’m afraid Antisemitism is that clear now . Here are the sounds and looks(below) that drew me to these painful conclusion.

(1) Protest around the world against Israel defensive position in the Gaza strip not only attacked Israel’s but people of the Jewish Faith.

(2) There have been no similar protests over the innocent that have been slaughtered in Iraq and Syria. Neither have these protesters acted when nation has lifted up sword against nation in countries in Africa and others around the world.

(3) A recent wave of physical attacks on people of the Jewish faith have occurred in various areas of Europe and even Boston

Let me conclude that I still believe the vast majority of people’s do no share this hateful feelings but unless that majority stand up and say something I fear that others will continue to believe that these actions are acceptable.  But let those who practice such Antisemitic words and actions be forewarned that the Jewish people  and or Christian supporters are united like never before and we will fight back with words and force if need be.

Isolation brings contempt

Posted by Bruce - in Blog - No Comments

polar opposites

Many groups want to isolate themselves from the rest of the community but I believe that only brings contempt. For what you don’t know brings fear and that leads to many a conspiracy theory.  I understand and respect that many people of certain communities are afraid to interact with those of other communities because their spiritual or cultural beliefs strongly differ from those at the community at large. These groups fear that such interaction might lead them or their children down a path away from what they believe is right. Yet shouldn’t we have enough faith in our ideals that they can be open to debate and discussion?

Whether it be a monthly gathering of leaders from diverse groups or breaking of bread within the community we need to open the communication channels.  It is better to argue and discuss your differences with others through words rather then bullets. A group doesn’t have to change their values or ideals by such a discussion just understand a different perspective.  It is best to have tunnels of understanding and love between groups then tunnels built of hate and resentment.
