The return of the dead

#Resurrection, # Return of Dead

I was watching “Resurrection” last night through my DVR (only 45 minutes without ads) and realized that Hollywood has it all wrong. I understand that I missed some previous episodes but if your loved one came back from the grave wouldn’t you be ecstatic and get down on your knees to thank G-D? Would you question every little difference or would you just be grateful to have them back? I understand it’s a television show and that it would probably be boring watching everyone just be happy . It also would be difficult to rekindle the flame of the past but there should be some spark when a loved one returns. I also understand that this show will never dwell in the spiritual realm that the resurrection will occur by any other force Alien encounter or even Broccoli encounter (they see this vegetable works wonders) so why should it bother me? It’s because it’s so unrealistic, not the concept but the way people react to it.

In the Jewish faith when the Messiah comes those who are dead will return back to us and when that occurs (if I’m around or one of the returnees) you better be sure that I’ll be grateful with ever fiber of my body, mind and soul. I believe many of those who haven’t had the time to go to Church, Mosque or Shul will find the time to visit now. It will be a time of great happiness, love and peace around the world as we will  make every effort to seek the truth and try harder then ever to follow it.

Just a side note I will continue to watch “Resurrection” if only to find out what type of “Broccoli” did the trick.
