Loyalty starts locally

loyalty

Many people believe that you should first be loyal to your nation but I believe it should start locally.  First you must be loyal to the “PRIME/yourself which of course means being loyal to your personal relationship with G-D and the values and ideals that relationship entails. These might include the way you interact with others to the food and entertainment you pursue. Your loyalty then expands to the SECONDARY, those that have been with you the longest and have supported you the most. They also are the individuals or groups that share many of your values and ideals. This could be your family, good friends or local clergy that have helped you through good and difficult times.  As the circle expands to other groups and even the nation as a whole you must make sure that these loyalties don’t conflict with the loyalty you have to the PRIME and SECONDARY.  For it is better to be loyal to a few who bring the best to you then the many who bring the worst out.

I have to tell the truth on Tuesday I have two other woman in my life other then my wife.  Each of the woman give me a 1/2 hour of pleasure because their hysterical with quick punch lines. I’m sorry but they really make me laugh without getting too deep. These two woman are Zooey Dechanel and Mindy Kaling. I’m glad to get that off my chest (hey what were you thinking).  The time we spend together is 9-10 with “The New Girl” and “The Mandy Project”.  It’s great to have these ladies in my life because I don’t have to worry about buying them dinner and can turn them off after a 1/2 hour.  Now that I got that off my chest can I find another funny woman for Friday night. I hope this doesn’t hurt my chances to run for Toronto Mayor.

Evil, where does it come from?

hiding

I believe that evil is generally a nurtured behavior and not something that is inborn in most people. Of course like most rules there are exceptions and individuals who tend to evil must have some innate qualities such as tendencies to jealousy, immediate gratification and narcissism, yet it is the reward they perceive that leads them down this path.  This reward can be seen consciously or in their sub conscious but it is out there. I’ve gained knowledge on this subject through study in books and in the streets. Here are a few examples of the rewards society offers evil behavior.

(1) Publicity- Those who perform acts of evil are known in their community and in outside communities. They are given special treatment not associated with those that do good acts.

(2) Power- Evil acts create fear in others so others will “listen to them”

(3) Fortune- Quick returns result from acts of stealing and deceiving.

(4) Lack of Punishment- When society lacks punishment that meets the crime these individuals will consider it a risk worth taking.

Therefore in order to defeat evil we must do more to insure that these rewards above are lessoned and/or the punishment is more strictly observed.  In our own lives we can make a difference by acknowledging good actions way above any negative actions. That we work with individuals and companies who are honest rather then those who save us a few dollars

When do zip it.

zip it

Sometimes I have news that I feel I need to tell someone but don’t know who I should tell.  I’ve had times when I’ve had great news and it fell on a deaf ear (not literally). There were times when I wanted a shoulder to cry on and only got the back of a head . Therefore I’ve decided to try to think before I speak (please see my rules below). I hope they will be beneficial to you as well.

(1) POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE NEWS Are they people who spread the news? If so is that what you truly want to do?

(2)POSITIVE NEWS- Would you consider these people to be jealous of others?

(3) NEGATIVE NEWS – Can these people truly handle the news? Or will they get to upset and not be able to help anyway?

(4) POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE NEWS- Are they the empathic type of person or do you feel like they have the expression of a rock, a flat rock?

(5) NEGATIVE NEWS- Can they be helpful or are they more likely to be someone who finds fault?

(6) NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE NEWS- Are they honest and if so do you want that honesty or would you rather have a cheerleader?

Finally what’s the point of telling them? If you see no benefit to yourself maybe it’s best you just tell the dog or cat.  Maybe just the dog they have those eyes that really make you think their listening and they get excited about almost anything.
