It might be wrong but it’s true that it’s smart to date a celebrity especially a musician and nobody has played this role better then Taylor Swift. I knew the law and I broke it but I ask the court for some mercy. I understand that sexual harassment has now included touch but it was just a show of affection after she did a good job. Would it lead to something else maybe but I would have made sure she signed the state approved consensus form before that was even discussed. Yes with a state approved witness of course and a state monitored location. I guess I am a little lonely but do you blame me I was born when affection could be dare I say, a bit more spontaneous and people weren’t as offended. It’s the one ingredient that one feels is lacking in their life or isn’t given to another and for the purpose of being respectful in this blog piece I will not specifically name names although I’m sure you’ll guess who I am writing of (see below). It is if we are all stand up comedian’s and the joke isn’t funny a matter of fact it hurts us all in someway. We don’t respect because we are forced to act in such a way but because it’s the right thing to do.
(1) OFFICE- You have been blessed to have a certain position in life therefore you should respect all those who put you in this position, those that keep you there and even those you serve who may not be so supportive. Show deference to them as if you were still in their position looking up.
(2) OFFICE- Yes I’m repeating myself but please respect why that is so. We may not have our perfect candidate in such an office but she/he still represents us and those who do support this individual. Therefore we should refrain from continuous attacks on this individual if only to show respect for the history of the office and their supporters.
(3) SYMBOLS- Show deference to the symbols that have represented us all even if what it represents needs improvement. For it is not just a symbol of today but of those that fought to make it better and those that will fight to continue to improve it.
(4) OTHERS- Respect the individual as if you were looking in the mirror and don’t use your step up to step down on others.
(5) YOURSELF- There are millions of cells, history and society as a whole who are counting on you to make decisions and say things that make yourself and those around you look with pride.
Can an adult male be sexual harassed by a woman? I guess it depends on one’s perspective on whether the harassers is attractive and the one being harassed is single. For if the man is attracted to the woman even a bit and is single I don’t know if any man will actually complain. Of course what occurs next will actually determine whether action is taken. For example if the man decides enough is enough and loses his right to a raise because of such a stance then we can expect some action will be taken but if they move up together then everyone will be happy. The Jets were literally robbed of a victory yesterday as the refs made one of the worst calls in NFL history. If you don’t believe me see it for yourself (below) then you’ll realize even OJ Simpson’s lawyers would see this ball fits over the goal line. I don’t know if these refs were blind or lost their glasses but Mister Magoo knew it was a touchdown. For someone who just gave the NFL a brake after boycotting the games do to the kneeling controversy this adds another excuse to watch baseball instead.
I’m doing the light version of Simchat Torah adding a bit more sweetness and joy to the holiday but holding back a bit on the more traditional observance. Simchat Torah is the time many Jews will celebrate finishing our Torah/Bible reading with dance and must joy for the Torah and each other. Last night I did the Torah dance and enjoyed the company of others. Today I feel if I don’t go to work it will be less joyful for others because I didn’t give a proper warning. So I will not take the day off that my more traditional brother’s and sisters will observe but still try to make the day a bit more fun then normal. Here’s a few of the steps I will take.
(1) I will leave a few minutes earlier even if the work seems to pile a bit higher.
(2) The food I eat will be a bit sweeter and if I can find a candy apple I will grab it.
(3) Morning rush will be a bit slower.
(4) I will work to make work a bit more fun and dare I say done at a bit more leisurely or relaxed pace without losing business.
Hollywood needs me now more then ever!! This is not some vain attempt to find a position in tinsel town for their is extraordinary talent right in the city but more of the overall picture. Here are a few points talent scouts should consider.
(1) WALL- If I was involved in producing films I would insure a wall is put between me and such talent and to prove that is one of my criteria’s look who I voted for last year.
(2) POLITICAL FAVORS- As the Democrats are going to try to distance themselves from Hollywood after the Weinstein scandal it will be good to have some true members from the other side on the team.
(3) 46 %- You are currently missing at least 46 % of the market share who didn’t vote for your ideals and are leaving the box offices by the droves. I will be able to drive them back in with scripts, characters and stories that they believe in and want to share with their families.
(4) UNKNOWN- I’m not a household name so it will add excitement to what is currently seen on the big or even medium screen.
(5) FUN W WALL- I know how to have a good time but understand where the wall is and won’t go across it again just check my voting records. By the way the Mexican’s will pay fort
