Conservative Civil Rights Leaders

conservative leaders

These would have been the true leaders of the African American Community.

As I read “Voices Of Freedom” an oral history of the Civil rights movement I’ve struck by how this initial battles weren’t fought by Conservative Republican leaders.  If these Conservatives had jumped in the battle from the initial call to civil disobedience we all would have been better off.  What is most difficult for me to understand is that these cries for basic freedom were the values we as true “Constitutional Conservatives” truly stand for. Here is how I believe it should been fought (below) and some of the better outcomes that would have resulted.

(1) The Voting Act of 1920 by Calvin Coolidge Administration guarantees that all citizens have equal access to the ballot box and that restriction by government due to tax or test are illegal.  The Federal Government would insure if necessary by force that these basic rights shall not be denied.

(2)  The Equal Opportunity Act of 1920 (I like Calvin) would guarantee that any business that gains a profit by the general public can’t discriminate against in employment or patronizing any citizens just based on their race, religion or creed.

While the Dixie Democrats would continue to try to Segregate African Americans the Conservative Republicans would pull them into their family. These African Americans would then appreciate the sacrifices that were made on their behalf by Conservatives  and join us to make our country greater, instead of be part of a party that continues to bring poverty and despair to so many.

ISIS- defensive or destroy

There are only two ways to deal with ISIS and similar terrorist networks you can either totally destroy them or leave them constantly on the defensive whereas  both options have positive and negative ramifications. If you eliminate them from the face of the earth there will be plenty of collateral damage that might inspire future terrorist groups to formulate and/or grow while if you keep them on the defensive it will be a continual cost that you will have to bear.  I believe though keeping them on the defensive might be the better option as long as the will is there for the following reasons (below). What do you think?

(1) It will prevent them from attempting an offensive operation because they’ll always be on the defensive.

(2) Those enemies of decency, democracy and freedom will continue to join their network and will be eliminated on  a constant basis in one central location without any chance of expansion.

(3) There might be a chance for a civil war in the ISIS controlled areas once the victims of their injustice have an opportunity to fight back. Since ISIS will always be on the defensive it will have less internal control as if it were stable.

Ben Carson 2016?

Ben Carson  BEN CARSON 2

After listening to the “O’Reilly Factor” it appears that Dr. Carson is going to run for President in 2016.  There are many reasons Dr. Carson would be a fine candidate including his intelligence, character, ideology, background, speaking ability and his ability to reach out past the standard Republican base. The biggest obstacle he faces is his lack of experience in the political world which may make it difficult to know how to operate the basic knobs and buttons should he be elected. He did a fine job answering that concern by saying it’s not always what you know but the experts that you hire  and the ability to truly listen that will make the difference. I was an early supporter of Herman Cain during the last election and watched as the political elite brutalized this fine man and am a bit concerned whether Dr. Carson will be able to withstand the new storm.  WHAT DO YOU THINK I’D LOVE TO KNOW?

Rick Perry Indictment

rick perry

I believe that if the case against “Rick Perry” is proven to be without merit then those who brought such claims should instead be prosecuted.  Although I don’t know all the facts on the case it appears to stink because from what I’ve heard it’s based on politics not justice. If the indictment is thrown out by the judge then the process of indicting the prosecutions should begin.  For Rick Perry’s indictment doesn’t just hurt him but the political system as a whole because political leaders may fear taking strong stances against the “Political Elite”and suffer the same consequences .  Therefore we must insure that not only we prosecute those accused of crimes but those who bring wrongful prosecution for if we don’t our political system as a whole will suffer.

Israel needs to win heart and soul!

israel Palestine peace

Israel is winning the war against Hamas but Hamas has the upper hand in the propaganda war and it’s time Israel fought back. This appears to be an extremely difficult battle because Hamas has no problem using it’s own citizens as human shields in this conflict but there are tactics that will work (see below).

(1) On every news broadcast or any discussion with reporters start with the memory of the loss of an Israeli then discuss the fear gripping the women and children in Israel.

(2) Open up a “Free Zone” in Gaza where residents that are opposed to Hamas can openly protest in peace along with other groups that might be banned by Hamas.

(3) Have a “Free Radio” and “TV Station” broadcast in the Gaza Strip with fun music and entertainment normally banned by this group and slight anti-Hamas messages thrown in.

(4) Send out flyers and sheets from Imam and other faith leaders that disagree with the tactics of hate spread by Hamas.

(5) Start rebuilding efforts along the Gaza strip border including schools and hospitals that are better then the original construction but make it extremely difficult to build tunnels and/or utilize them for attacks upon Israeli’s

(6) Be willing to debate any member from Hamas or any other political wing of the Palestinians anytime and anyplace (if it’s secure) that they want.  Let the world no about their cancellations.

(7)  Finally end all news broadcast or discussion with a prayer for eventual peace and security for all parties concerned and their children.

Israeli Buffer Zone

israel Palestine peace

Israel has the right to live in peace and security withing it’s borders and that means it needs to create a buffer zone around those borders. This would be a narrow area around the Gaza Strip that is protected by Palestinians that truly seek peace and harmony with their neighbor.  This force would be formulated after Israel’s incursion in the Gaza Strip and pushing out or eliminating all gangster elements of Hamas. Those in charge of governing this buffer zone must not only pledge peace with Israel along its borders, work with Israel to eliminate terrorist elements, but also insure that their citizens are educated in peaceful coexistence.  In return Israel would insure that there governance would be protected by the state and receive proper financial aid to gain independence and expand further out if conditions warrant such action.  By showing other Palestinians how successful peace can be G-D willing others will seek to join this movement.

Why they choose to be liberal and….

isolated
Why do many individuals choose to be “liberal” and “conservative” may have very little to do with the actual issues but instead the cultural that these philosophies espouse. These cultures can make it more difficult for those to get a job  or move up in a position if they are unwilling to adopt a certain philosophy.  They may be treated like a Piraha  and or be ostracized by their community if their philosophy doesn’t match what the majority believes.  Even in the best case situation those that adopt a unique philosophy will only be known by that philosophy instead of the other wonderful characteristics about them.

It’s time that we truly allow individuals to be themselves and not discriminate against others because their philosophy may not be the same as the community we live in.  Instead of condemning or ostracizing let’s listen and gain a new perspective. In the end our communities will be stronger by welcoming  different voices.

Evil motive

Obama Ted Cruz

When we disagree with a leader whether it be in business, politics or religion we are often to quick to blame it on an evil motive instead of the more obvious component incompetence. This incompetence can be based on receiving only the information this leader wants to hear and/or a belief that is based more on a philosophy rather then reality. They might continue to deny the reality that is out there because it doesn’t fit the reality that they want to create. These individuals might even go a step further by doing something they know is wrong today because they believe it will lead to a greater good in the future today.

Once you find that common ground with your opponent it is your job to convince the leader and their supporters that you share these values. It’s just that their proposal has more bumps in the road to get to the goal then yours does. Even if they still disagree, by pointing out some of those bumps maybe they’ll eventually agree to make a right path. It might be a longer more arduous path but at least you’ll have them on your side.

Iraq and Freedom?

iraq isi

As Iraq drifts from basic freedom to a Theocracy you wonder what went wrong?  Didn’t the people enjoy the basic human rights that those in the West have whether it be freedom of religion, speech, press etc?  Are Iraqi’s so different? I don’t think so and if we in the West want to truly spread freedom and liberty around the world we might have to look at things a bit differently. Here are a few factors (below) we should consider.

(1) Freedom is tough- It’s much easier when others make the decisions for you because then it could lead to a believe that they are ultimately responsible for the outcome.

(2) Many like to be led. In life there are truly only a few people who want to take the reigns and responsibility of leadership they would rather leave that job to others.

(3) Theocracies don’t have a timetable since they claim they are doing “the lords work” then it’s up to the Lord to decide the results.

(4) Their must be an emotional commitment and a struggle related to Freedom for it to truly hold up over time.  When others have sacrificed their lives for such a cause it makes it more important to hold it up.

(5) Minority parties must feel some type of representation in the governing body or they will fight to end such rule.

(6) New Democracies need support from older Democracies whether it be through education, military support, or financial aid. If we want these people to enjoy basic freedoms we must help them get around the bases.  This commitment might be tough politically but is the right thing to do.

Biggest Political Upset – You have been bratized

DAVID BRAT  BALOONS

This is the biggest political upset since a bunch of patriots fought and defeated the greatest military in their times. This upset can be compared to the 1969 World Series or the 1980’s Miracle on Ice. David Brat with almost no name recognition and monies has defeated the 2nd most powerful man in the House of Representatives. It doesn’t matter whether you would have voted for him or not but what matters is David can still beat Goliath today.

Please note I’m so taken by this upset that I’ve neglected other work just to post this blog.  What this means is that your vote still counts no matter what the political consultants and experts might say and that it really takes that fat lady to sing before a defeat can be handed to you. This sends a shiver down ever political incumbent this year that your job is in jeopardy so you better listen to your employees. No politician can now think of their job as a lifetime career but a position they must earn at the ballot box every year.

CUOMO BE WARNED.
