Not Presidential

race for presidency

I will not vote for a candidate that doesn’t have the following experiences (below) or doesn’t participate in these activities.  These individuals would be fine for other positions but the President must be someone who truly understand and feels for what it is to be an average citizen in this country and truly must represent us and although I may agree with them  on policy issues these basic factors need to be key as well.

(1) Drove a car through traffic in the last five years.- You should understand where we all come from and how we get there.

(2) Utilized mass transportation within the last five years– Ditto.

(3) Have a faith in G-D and participated in a religious service at least once a year.  Many may have their doubts but we need a President who is willing to stay humble in office and truly knows that they must be forgiven.

(4) Understands Popular Culture (films, music, books, sports). They may not have had the opportunity to participate in all of today’s culture but must understand where, why and how we spend our leisure time.

(5) Given at least 5 % of their income and/or time to charity- Saying that you care about others is one thing but putting your monies behind is quite another.

(6)Gone food shopping and cooked some meal within the year-   We need a President who has some idea what it costs for a quart of Milk and  isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty in the kitchen.

(7) Had a Pet with four legs within the last 2 years (allegory exemption but then must have the swimming type)- The President must actually show compassion and love for our 4 legged friends among us.

(8) Have a “normal marriage” and children. – We don’t want a President who claims that they’ve never had an argument with their spouse and children. Yes, we want a President who is traditionally married.

ISIS killed not contained

nuclear disaster

The world can not sit and wait while ISIS grows comfortable in their lands. For every day they wait this evil multiplies and becomes more difficult to conquer.  Everyday they acquire more deadly and dangerous weapons with the sophistication to be able to use them on the innocent.  They acquire more bodies with greater talents to perform evil on a larger scale.  We waited for the Nazi empire to be destroyed only to see a destruction that the world had never seen before, let us not repeat this mistake and destroy ISIS today. For the death and destruction it brings today will be nothing compared to the death and destruction it can bring if it acquires only one mass destruction device. Evil can’t be contained but must be killed!

We need Rand Paul

rand paul 2

Rand Paul is a key figure in fighting for liberty and justice in the Senate. Whether it be insuring that American Citizens aren’t droned by their own government or that our 4th Amendment rights are secure in todays time no Senator has had the courage or conviction that Senator Paul has had.    I’m also delighted that he is running for President because he insures that these important issues are kept in the spotlight yet as much I appreciate the Senator I don’t believe he is the right candidate for the Presidency. His view on foreign affairs appears a bit naïve in the world  today and I believe that this could be extremely dangerous if he was to be elected to that office.  Let us therefore insure that there is room in the Senate or even the White House (as an advisor) to hear the wise words of Rand Paul.

Isis Appeal

ISIS 2

For us to defeat ISIS we must first understand it’s appeal (see below) and how it will continue to grow unless we attack it from these roots.

(1) BLACK & WHITE–  Life is simpler when there is a clear distinction between what is good and what is evil and ISIS portrays that belief.

NEW ROOT– Sneak video’s and music to show how many other colors the people controlled by ISIS are missing. They shouldn’t be too bold a color (or shocking) but some simple enjoyment ISIS has forbidden.

(2) IMMEDIATE PUNISHMENT– While we in the west wait years in court to seek justice ISIS punishments are immediate and strong.

NEW ROOT- Present information on how leaders of ISIS aren’t held to the same judgement and any signs of corruption in that leadership.  Do not fear gathering this information for  where there is human power there is corruption. Note many innocent people’s name and life that have suffered punishment and death under this system.

(3) RELIGIOUS CAUSE- ISIS portrays itself as a holy movement against the infidel and that they are fighting for a higher cause.

NEW ROOT- Covertly  support new Islamic leaders that challenge the concept of conversion by the sword and replace it with conversion by the heart and soul. Make sure that all efforts are pursued in the Middle East and Africa to spread this message.

(4) WINNING SIDE– People have a tendency to join the team that is winning and ISIS is either holding ground or taking even more land.

NEW ROOT- Do what needs to be done in the military field to defeat this cancer now before it continues to spread in the body we know as the world and cost more of our plunder and greatest among us to defeat it.

(5) REBEL SIDE- ISIS is going against the greatest powers in the region and in the world.

NEW ROOT- Build and support a new rebel movement based on western type democracies and Islamic cultural values.

(6) FEAR- The callousness that ISIS has for killing has created great fear to fight and kill their leadership.

NEW ROOT- Capture ISIS fighters and have them scene as broken people in prison guard.

Invest in Candidate?

donate monies

You love what the candidate stands for and believe he/she can deliver the message like know one else on the campaign trail but when it comes to administration they’re surely lacking what do you do?  We’ve seen this story played out in the 2012 Presidential Election where Mitt Romney had all the pieces together for a win but didn’t have the right team to put them in place for victory and we can see it many of the early campaigns for President today. If these candidates can’t deliver on promises to their early supporters now what makes us believe they can effectively assembly the best and brightest to run the most important office in the free will?  Of course running a campaign on a shoe string budget, at the starting gate, with basically volunteers is nothing compared to having a well paid selected staff  behind as you get the nomination but if you fall too behind in the administration in the beginning it’s hard to pull ahead at the end.   Therefore invest a few dollars in an early campaign and see if they have any return on that investment (T-shirt, Bumper Sticker etc) if not maybe it’s time to look at another campaign that can go the distance.

The Police Are Wrong/Freddie Gray

Freddie Gray

From the moment that a person surrenders their right’s to a police authority by being arrested those police authorities must secure their well being from others and even themselves if necessary. That is why there are suicide watches at prisons and individuals are placed in isolation when they feel they maybe a threat to themselves or others.  This is especially true when someone is accused of a crime and presumed innocent.  The police must make an extra effort with these individuals to insure that the truth is presented in a court and that includes a live suspect.  That is why there can be no justification for “Freddy Gray’s” death by a spinal injury while he was in police custody. In the end there might not be a criminal liability by the police department but there will be at least civil and procedural changes that will need to be made.

Obama’s Riots

baltimore riots

Many people believed by electing an African American as President that riots within our inner city would be at thing of the past but it’s not the color that makes the change but the culture of politics.  A culture similar to my Jewish culture  expects you to vote liberal Democratic and act in a certain way even though it hurts you and your people.  If we change the culture (see below) we will see a change in the our lives for the better.

(1) Community Leaders and law enforcement authorities must be in constant communications understanding that although there may be disagreements that both sides are willing to listen and find peaceful solutions to any problems that might occur. They must constantly communicate that message to their respective communities.

(2) Traditional families based on faith traditions must be restored and promoted in the inner cities through the culture that exists there and beyond. Political actions must be based on that promotions.

(3) Violence against one’s own community only hurts those in the community with less economic opportunity for all.  Measures must be taken immediately should such violence occur.

(4) It is not an act of civil disobedience to defy an arrest but an act of stupidity that needs to stop. You’re loved ones don’t need to fight for you when you’re not here but fight for your rights while you’re here.

(5) The blame game ends and whatever limitations are put in front of you they are barriers that you will proudly break through.

(6) It’s not only fine but a part of a vibrant community for diverse political and cultural differences to exist in one’s community and insures that nobody takes that community for vantage.

An emotional vote!

bill clinton obama

Many of those that we elect to office hit our emotional needs/desires more then our practical concerns.  These candidates appear to relate to our everyday concerns or represent our desire for change in the way our country looks or is portrayed.  The truth is having an emotional tide to a leader has it’s place for the leader must motivate us when times are difficult and show us a new path forward that we might not have seen. An emotional leader can also make us feel good as we belong to “their team”.   Yet leadership without the necessary values and experience can lead us to a dangerous path where we ignore the facts in front of us and instead focus on standing behind our man/woman.   Therefore before voting for such a leader we must carefully weigh that emotionally side against the practical course that leader will send us to and insure that the practical side wins out.

Who runs for President?

vote president

How does someone decide that they are the right person to run for the Presidency? There are 100 Senators, 50 Governors, thousands of doctors, and hundreds of thousands if not a million business people, but only a handful of the above will actually seek the highest office in the land. What makes these people stand out above their crowds?  Is it their unique ability to lead or their ability to appear to lead?  Does there policy decisions appear bold or boldly put them in the spotlight?  Do they have an extra ability to care for others or have others found a way to care for them, without them even knowing? The truth is it isn’t one trait that puts them in this category but a combination that makes them stand alone here (below) are a few of the key traits.

(1) EGO- These individuals must believe they have a unique quality to rise above the others in their categories.

(2) ORATORS – They must have the gift of gab and convince others that this is so as well.

(3) IMAGE- Their look must be similar in someway to the common person but also unique enough to be seen through the crowd.

(4) MONIES- Those with means or those that have friends with means must believe these individuals are uniquely qualified for this position.

(5) POSITIONS- They must take a side on some issues to make sure those organizations that support those views will support them.
