Philosophy

Wouldn’t it be great if there were different modes in your car to help you deal with different driving conditions? Here are a just a few modes I believe need to be created. There would be an over ride available to allow those in control to change these settings.

(1) ENERGY MODE- This mode will maximize your MPG, Once you select your desired location it will analyze the top speed you can go, most direct route to get there (including traffic analysis) and other controls on the car and you won’t be able to exceed them.

(2) WINTER MODE- In this mode your car will perform for the difficult conditions that lie ahead it will not allow you to get too close to another vehicle and have an emergency stop if you are about to hit something on black ice.

(3) YOUTH MODE- Will insure safe driving by making sure the drivers eyes are in the right position for any action to occur (no texting when driving, or eating a burger).  It will also have an automatic stop to avoid the vehicle hitting another object, speed control so car can’t exceed a safe speed, & road rage control.

(4) COMBINATION MODE- You can combine the modes that you want your car to have.

       Global Warming might be the most successful conspiracy theory of our time. This theory has lead to many world and business leaders to make drastic policy changes without truly knowing what the consequences will be. I’m all for lowering our dependency on Fossil Fuels and being good stewards of our planet (I have solar panels on my house, recycle, buy locally etc) but extreme measures forced into effect might have greater harm then anticipated by lowering food and energy supplies for those most needy.  Global Warming is a theory because if my local climatologist can’t predict the weather for a local area for the next day they surely can’t predict how CO2 will effect the world environment 2o years from now. Yet even the most deeply held atheists will cling onto this believe like it’s a gun or bible no matter how cold it gets outside. Conspiracy Theories that last always have an out for the believer when facts don’t match reality and with global warming there is a world of facts that can be spun either way. To conclude it’s important to consider how we can be better stewards of our environment for tomorrow but today let’s deal with those who are truly a threat “Islamic Extremist”.

   For us to defeat evil we must understand it’s pull too many. ISIS just like evil in the past has a force to pull those outside in and it’s not their “economic message that draws them in.  ISIS draws from the power of simplicity or black and white. There faith is perfect and all others evil. It allows those that have fanaticism in their blood and outlet to leak the blood of the innocent and feel that it is for a greater good. It gives an avenue for the psychopath to commit evil and actually be rewarded for it.  Those that have lacked power can now feel the power of life and death resides in their hands.  To counter such evil takes more then a job or a village but a way to find those few outsiders and bring them into the civilized world whether it be getting  them proper training, facility and/or service that will keep them away from the pull of this evil.

NBC has a new show called “The Slap” where one person being slapped leads to a spiral of events but I believe in today’s environment it should be “The Joke“. “The Joke” would show how one person’s laughter at an off color joke leads to their downfall from fame and fortune. The laugh would be shown in slow motion as is the reaction to it. For if today’s condition uphold in the near future it won’t even be saying political incorrect words that get you in trouble but your reaction to them.  If this show becomes popular I would then produce “Silence” in which one’s none reaction to words leads to downward action with  Nancy Pelosi as the star.

Bring back the “Indentured Servant” instead of prison for petty crimes. If someone refuses to pay their alimony or other debts why send them up the river but let them work on the river instead.  This way they can’t claim that they can’t afford to pay back those that they owe but will work to insure that they pay their debts instead. The Petty Criminals will not become a burden on society but will actually work to make themselves and society as a whole a bit better.  They can work with the injured individual (with supervision) or find a different way to help whether it be paint the outside of the house, dispose of garbage etc.  If these individuals still pose a threat to the injured party then they can do work on a farm and give the monies for this work back to those injured by the crime.  Indentured Servants will insure that crime only pays for those that are victimized.

    Last night as I watched the 3 major networks broadcast the “news” I saw how the world could forget. For only a day ago 22 innocent Coptic Christians were decapitated by ISIS while these networks top story was that it was cold in winter.  It appeared as if a blizzard was covering up the news with peeks of the truth coming through Fox News.  Can we even imagine the horror that is going on in the rest of these ISIS areas that they don’t broadcast? Imagine if the Nazi’s actually showed low lights of their daily brutality. Where is the voice of outrage and demonstrations around the world? Where are the concerts and campaigns against terror and the death of the innocent?

Many people might claim that I want a drum beat to war as I believe the media needs to keep this on their front pages but a Fiddle would work just fine.  We have brought resources to this military campaign but without reporting the facts on the ground I’m afraid that the stomach for the battle will soon be drained.  As a practicing Jew who has continually been taught “Never to Forget” the Holocaust let’s not forget a fire that continues to grow before our eyes and let’s pledge to crush before it kills more victims.
