I’m sorry Miley but it’s hard to get over the two top images and switch back to the Miley me and my daughter loved when she was growing up. I understand that people make mistakes but yours seems to be a publicity campaign that didn’t go as well as you like so you hired a new team. Maybe it is hard felt but it will take more then a P.R management team to help wipe away this from your chalk board. Miley might be back but for now I’m still watching the rerun’s.
Steve Colbert went on a 10 minute rant against the President in such a belligerent way that I find it personally repulsive and the consequences should be …. nothing. For unlike those who share a different political philosophy I truly don’t believe in censoring or boycotting voices I strongly disagree with. I will personally boycott his show but mainly because it’s past my bedtime and the verbal diarrhea he showcases is less then entertaining or original. CBS on the other hand should see who is writing his material and consider adding a writer or two who might have a different point of view for rather then being shocking or titillating his commentary is at this point just boring liberal speak.
If you’re famous even if it’s just on your own block fake news will follow. For some will make assumptions on tad bits of information that help them deal with their jealousy or make them feel more important in their own minds. This is especially true if you don’t fit in the mold of what is the “normal red carpet”. They will do there best to knock you down and trample on top of you if they can. The best way to deal with those who say things behind your back or along your side is be so nice to all even if it kills them. Don’t let them make you hateful even if what they say disgusts you just have the upper lip to take the punches. You are only human and therefore should express how disappointed that others could act in such ways, without have the gumption to say it to your face but never let them bring you down from the achievements you’ve earned.
No matter the mistakes you’ve made in your life it probably won’t be as big of a disaster as the Fyre Festival. It was built as a concert event in the Bahamas that would first class food, accommodations and music for an incredible weekend but turned out to be the fever without the cabin/food or fun. This was the modern day equivalent of the Titanic but without the bodies for this event sunk before it even begun. It’s great to plan big but you should always have a little plan if things don’t go according to plan. Yet what makes this great for the rest of us is the founder of “The Fyre Festival’s” Mr McFarland taking full responsibility for it’s failure and his determination to come back from his cliff. If he can do it with his life then surely we can do it with the mistakes we’ve made.
After reading a number of books on the greatest artist as well as dealing with many in my 0wn life (including myself at times ) I realize that most are children that never fully grew up and I thank G-D that this transformation didn’t fully occur. Artists find a youthful and exciting way to deal with life which many of the regular people will just drudge through it day after day. They laugh as well as play as if their still in grammar school and some will even cry as if they are as well. Just as children can be temperamental some of our greatest artist have their mood swings and most crave attention indeed. Yet without these childish points life would be a bit too black and white so bring on the child who might just be hidden in an older artistic body.
When has a show jumped your shark and you permanently switch to a different form of entertainment? The Last Man On Earth occurred shortly after it became a viewing habit when we the viewer(s) found out that there were many more people left. The show lost it’s reason for being and it died in my viewing habits. Gotham has bitten my one to many times and now it’s only occasionally watched and only through DVR viewing. For here was a show that had great character development, acting and action that has gotten silly and over dramatic at the same time. I some what hold on by a thread like a lost lover looking for that one bond we had together many seasons ago. Luckily my relationships are not as my viewing habits for with the variety of shows out there I can pull up a new fish everyday.
Who would have thought of all the ways a “Rock Star” could get sick a deadly foreign virus would be in the top ten? Yet Elton John has contracted a rare virus after his latest tour to South America. I would assume that Elton John would be kept at the finest accommodations and insured that his food as well contacts were pure enough to avoid any “sickness”. Which leads me to think a trip to South America should be avoided by us common folks at least for now. May G-D grant Elton John a complete speedy recovery so that his musical talents can be enjoyed by millions for years to come.
RIP Erin Moran yet her major character Joanie Cunningham died years ago as her real life became a poster woman for the destruction of a child actress. A story that has been told by Hollywood over and over again where drugs alcohol replace the pain of not being in front of the spotlight. Erin Moran seemed to be one that could avoid such a path as she was surrounded by cast members who continued to move up the Hollywood channels (Ron Howard, Henry Winkler) who could have kept her on a rung or two as long as she wouldn’t allow such poison in her soul. It was a slow death that was recorded on Extra and other reality shows in which we saw the ending coming but couldn’t stop her brakes. RIP Erin Moran may your death inspire Hollywood do more to protect it’s greatest asset their talent.

Did I hide this film from my brain and only allow parts to seep out or was it possible I watched it in different language of the mind, for it sure felt as if it was a Deja Vu movie? There were parts that I felt I had experienced before but maybe I didn’t because they’re so common in films such as these. Could it be that I felt so comfortable in the extraordinary talents of Dakota Fanning that it felt as if it was so real as if it already occurred?
Hide And Seek is a wonderfully crafted film with extraordinary acting and cinematography that moves you at a four star pace but falls short at the climax as if you paid for that experience instead of loved it. Still Dakota Fanning performance is so incredible and there are enough great scenes, including the ending, that makes it worth watching maybe even again.

While they and their loved ones might have suffered they have brought us pieces of art/music that I’m not sure would have been created without their sickness. Suffering through mental health issues is truly painful for those that battle with it and their loved ones that watch the effects of such an illness yet unlike many of the horror movies it doesn’t have to lead to violence but a creativity the “normal mind” couldn’t conceive of. Of course any condition whether of the body or mind needs to be treated but when such treatment occurs the insanity that they have gone through may enable us to see/hear/or view the world in a whole different lens. Maybe a movie should touch on that aspect of what the world gained through those that suffered in-between.
