While they and their loved ones might have suffered they have brought us pieces of art/music that I’m not sure would have been created without their sickness. Suffering through mental health issues is truly painful for those that battle with it and their loved ones that watch the effects of such an illness yet unlike many of the horror movies it doesn’t have to lead to violence but a creativity the “normal mind” couldn’t conceive of. Of course any condition whether of the body or mind needs to be treated but when such treatment occurs the insanity that they have gone through may enable us to see/hear/or view the world in a whole different lens. Maybe a movie should touch on that aspect of what the world gained through those that suffered in-between.
