I’m a bad fan and deserve to sit/stand in the corner rather then celebrate another Met’s victory, for a did the unthinkable Met crime … I turned off. That’s right the Met’s were down 2-0 against the hopeless Braves and I decided to watch  Stranger Things a Netflix show instead. To make matters worse and make me stand in the corner longer I didn’t even turn back to the game when the score was 4-2 in the 7th,  instead  I watched another “Stranger Things” episode even though it’s good not Awesome like my Met’s.  My Met’s I know how could I say that after last nights performance but for some reason I believe if I turn on the game today or buy a new hat (added to my Met’s collection) all will be forgiven and my air will flow back to Citi Field instead of this corner.

I believe after years of observation and study that I have learned the secrets (see below) to finding a partner in a heterosexual relationship but am not able to test them out since I’m happily married. I therefore ask that if you’re seeking that special person that you test this out and share with the your friends and associates. Maybe the sharing will continue down the line until it reaches my children’s doorstep and if you cover the author up they’ll even follow it as well.  PLEASE SEND YOUR FEEDBACK GOOD, BAD OR UGLY

(1) KNOW-  You can’t seek the partnership of another if you don’t truly understand yourself. For example what truly makes that heart beat a bit faster in the good and bad for long term or short moments. You are special and those that are meant for you will enjoy your humor, intellect, rowdiness, or deep reflection more then you would ever know just find that 1st.  

(2) IMAGE- Once that self discovery is made does that image you wear truly reflect your inner mirror. Would that “Avenge Sevenfold” make someone who likes sweet country look away at that initial impression even if all the other pieces seem to fit or is a rocker more central then the other characteristics you want to portray? What is most important in that image you are presenting?

(3) LOCATION- Sometimes you can meet someone in an elevator but most likely this floor won’t go up so go to places that have your interest in (art gallery,casino, concert, baseball game)  mind and even if it doesn’t work out that night at least you’ve enjoyed the entertainment.  Further note only go with one friend from the same sex.

(4) SHOOT NOT RELOAD-  There is nothing wrong with trying to shoot above “your league” but don’t waste all your time, effort and hopes on that person. If the vibe isn’t there well then it’s down the street or around the corner. Even if you finally become attached to such a person realize you might feel or actually have to look behind the corners to make sure nobody else is moving in.  It might also be more work to keep then the joy you initially thought you would have.

(5) MOOD OUT –  If for whatever reason you’re not in “the mood” (long day at work, fight with family, time of month etc) make sure you tell the person in advance that today or tonight may not be best and give them a general reason why. If they still want to see you then at least they were warned in advance and use butter knives.

(6) CONVERSE NOT ARGUE-  You have to be who you are but you’re more then a political ad or a faith based ministry get to know the individual you’re with before you allow yourself to get into the heated conversation.  The deeper conversation can occur in the middle but not the beginning or the goodbye… for the night. 

(7) FUN- If you haven’t signed any papers and nothing is bouncing in the oven your still single. Therefore if over 50% of the time with this individual isn’t fun in someway or there is just too much friction it’s time to swim in a new lake or at least take a new dive, of course the painful conversation should occur in advance.

(8) WAIT-  Don’t give all the goodies in advance get to know the individual from the inside before they undress you from the outside. The longer the wait the better the wine. 

(8) ENJOY THE OCEAN-  Truly there are plenty of fish in the sea so take a nibble hear and there before you get trapped in a net. 

I had bought the “Barbie Marilyn” by Autumn De Forest at an Art Auction and was excited to hang it on my wall, until I found she was no where to be found!  Yesterday I had a handyman do some work in my house including hanging up several paintings including the “Barbie Marilyn” and all the pictures are up except for this one. I could blame him or his associate for the disappearance but the paintings were in my house in boxes for over a month so who knows where or who might have taken this art work including “friends, exterminator, cleaning help etc,etc”.  The painting was not worth much in the art world but had a special place in our families heart as it was discovered when my family went on a special trip. If it is eventually determined to be stolen then a deeper sense of despair lingers as I feel violated knowing that someone had the audacity to come as a guest to my house and take a way not just an item but try to take away my believe in humanity and leave me with feelings of paranoia instead. I wonder consciously or unconsciously how many innocent people will now get a 2nd look from me or worse because of what could have occurred?  Today we are filing a police report and might have an investigator research this further even though it will be at a financial loss for it is not just the value of the painting that is lost but a bit a bit of  my heart and soul. Matt Lauer committed a crime in the liberal media circles he didn’t advocate for the Democratic candidate.  To make matters worse for this “cliche” he actually had the audacity to ask tough questions to Hillary Clinton about can you believe this “her miscues and probable illegal acts” as Secretary of State.  It is true that he could have followed up when Donald Trump said erroneous remarks but let us remember that his job was to ask questions not interrogate the witness as the FBI did with Hillary Clinton. Ha, Ha, Ha I figured a little levity couldn’t hurt this blog piece.

It’s funny how bent out of shape the liberal media can get when all of a sudden  someone actually seeks “the truth”.  Please remember the media’s job is not to propagate for a certain candidate or policy but inform the public about the whole story. It’s refreshing when individuals such as Matt Lauer actually take this role seriously and forget who pays their bills.

Today my heart is pumping Blue & Orange a whole lot stronger then yesterday as the NY Met’s have added Tim Teebow to their rooster. This is the same Tim Teebow that took the Denver Bronco’s to the playoffs during his first year in the NFL. Maybe he can the extra juice the Met’s need to race toward a true pennant race or his extra prayer can help lead them that way. After the disgraceful behavior of the NY Jets (not giving him an opportunity to play) I’m glad another ETS has redeemed his image. Tim Teebow is back in a NY uniform and the Met’s look a whole light brighter then yesterday.

I either take things too seriously or not enough.  There are times when everything appears as if it belongs on an SNL skit or other times on Law & Order. Here are just a few examples (below) of the unjust scale in my head.

TOO SERIOUS

1. MY MISTAKES- The mistakes I’ve made sometimes harbor in my head much longer then anyone’s head.
2. WORK- I’ve worked for most of my life and only recently have discovered the importance of some rest and relaxation (just some)
3. TIME- Fear of wasting time has made even moments of relaxation restless.

NOT SERIOUS ENOUGH

1. MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS- I don’t seriously contemplate what I’ve achieved in my life and as such keep moving as if nothing occurred in the past.
2.  G-D’S ROLE-  Taking the time to figure out how each piece is forming a greater picture is something I seriously miss out on.
3. POWER- I’ve only recently discovered the influence I have on others especially loved ones whether it be by words or actions.

Even I’m excited about this fashion news “the dress that Marilyn Monroe wore when she sang happy birthday to President John F Kennedy is up on the auctioning block”. It’s not only a dress but a part of a mysterious history that leads to many a conspiracy theory. What is amazing is how well this dressed has been preserved after so many years and what price this dress will receive on the auctioning block in November.  I can guarantee you one thing the person who buys it will probably never wear it and if they do it will be far from any foods or liquids.
