You have 16 days to find me a present as my birthday comes knocking at the door so here’s a list (below) for my loved ones, those that some what like me, and for those who only hate me on Wednesdays where you can’t go wrong.

(1) CHOCOLATE 79% Cacoa- Trust me I will consume your present with a smile on and in.

(2) SOCKS- (White & Black) – They never go out of style and always appear to be leaving me too soon.

(3) PAJAMAS- This part of my wardrobe is a bit boring and maybe it will add some excitement to my night plans.

(4) GIFT CERTIFICATES TO ANYWHERE- I guess if you don’t want to use your creative muscle I’ll use it for you. Exclusive to those that aren’t on my credit cards or bank accounts.

Last night I graduated from idiot to genius in terms of getting and finding my parking spot. It was the 1st time in ages that I actually didn’t spend more time looking for my spot then getting the items I initially was looking for.  I’m not writing about small strip malls which only on occasion or two does my mind drift off to a different strip mall but the huge parking spots which leave me breathless and is if I’m Mr. Magoo. I get so excited about finally finding a spot that I forget where I parked the car later. Yet last night I took an actual minute to observe the spot before leaving and returned to the spot to pick up my diploma.  A diploma which I’ll probably leave in my car which I can’t find, the next time I park.

Their ready for your retirement and are willing to suffer the financially consequences that might go along with it. Let’s face it a dog house and their food habits aren’t that expensive but the love you give them is worth every penny. They don’t need no diamond studded collar just the shine in your eyes when you spend time together.  So if people ask you how you will make it after your retirement tell them that you’ll follow Spot and wag your tail along the way.

Sometimes rejection is truly what you need. No I’m not a masochist just someone who realizes that when the door closes their is a higher window to climb through. Sometimes you wouldn’t have seen that window if you weren’t rejected in the 1st place. Rejection definitely hurts but the success that can be realized from it proves that gain through pain really does work.

This year I’ve been hibernating from the NFL but it appears that the Wildcard games this weekend might finally wake me up from my slumber.  My eye’s and mind are drawn back to the game as my dreadful Jet’s get their time to take a nap and there is no Kaepernick in this future.  Just  as the snow might be falling around my house I will be staying by the nice warm T.V set watching the NFL get back to the basics of playing football instead of making political statements with some nice hits and misses.  Maybe even some Dallas heat might shorten my nap for next year.

I read a story that I thought should have been in the “Onion” then in the lame street media where an 8 year old boy who was “transgender” was refused entry into the Boy Scouts.  Eight years old and transgender?  How many Eight years old know what gender even means yet are mature enough to determine their sexual outcomes?  Could the parents be seeking as much attention as their children because at eight I would hope they would have some parental control.  How about we allow children to be children and play in different roles they might want to be at a moment without fixing labels on them that could destroy who they become? Transgender at 8 really? Why not let them be a police officer or firefighter 1st.
