Don’t worry I’m on the “Fashion Police” 10 most wanted for I take more “liberal view”… on fashion not politics then those in authority. Here are some of my basic rules which I write in an undisclosed location.
(1) COMFORT 1ST- If it doesn’t feel right then it won’t look right on your face. There is no reason to put on jeans that reveal your Derriere but leave you in pain or make you feel you need a pair of pants just to cover this spot. Another words wear baggy clothes but have a belt to make sure they don’t reveal too much.
(2) MEN & WOMEN’S CLOTHES- Why shouldn’t you wear clothes that highlight the differences in the body types without revealing your entire body types? The “Fashion Police” hate this but why shouldn’t a woman wear Pink and a man wear Blue. It might get me arrested but you won’t see any pink in my wardrobe.
(3) BOLD COLORS- Don’t be afraid to step out and wear loud colors if you like or just go black & white. Yet bold doesn’t mean pink (rule above)
(4) HOLY CLOTHES- Keep your clothes that’s a little small and a little big just in case the waist changes with the time of season even if they have a hole or 2. As long as they’re comfortable and the holes are in the right spot leave them in your wardrobe they’ll will always be a paint and/or cleanup day ahead.
(5) MATCH- Wear clothes and hats that basically match. For example if you have a Red Black Hat have some Red and Black in the clothes that’s covering you up.
(6) TIME CLOTHES- Leave a pair of special clothes and even sneakers hidden until that special date when you feel a 1st impression must be made.
(7) SEASONAL CLOTHES- This seems pretty basic but I’ve seen too many college students wearing T- Shirts in the winter so I figured this advise might help.
