Really?!! This is probably my biggest letdown in history. Imagine all your thoughts are on heavingly ice cream and the cone it’s in and then this occurs! What do I deserve for this torture? The next time you’ll say is break a leg and I’ll be in a cast instead of broadway. They say it will only be 2 weeks or 336 hours but who’s counting M-E that’s who! All I know is when this is over you better get me the cone that’s crunchy not this monstrosity that is around my neck instead.
1923- Classic For Today- Netflix Review
“1923” might just be a classic for “Today’s times”. For, this show appears to take the viewers back to a time that was fought with guts, glory, and much pain. This show has incredible acting, a storyline, and beautiful cinematography which takes you to a simpler time that was actually very complicated to deal with. 1923 a show that is a classic even 2 episodes in.
FOOTNOTE- It can be slow at times but it burns like a candle giving light to the predictability of standard shows.
***1/2- 1st 2 episodes.
Title 42 -Solution -BUSES- A Political Concept
Let the buses roll from just over the border to the more “liberal states” and then we’ll see if they decide not to end “Title 42” and protect our border. For, once we give easy access to those who illegally enter our country to access states that have more benefits they will go to those states which will make liberals finally realize it’s important to protect our borders. The key is to have enough buses ready, willing, and then will see how able the federal government is to leave our borders open.
FOOTNOTE- Please note legal immigration is not the problem only those enter illegally.
Norseman- Conquer Silly- A Netflix Review
Norseman may not conquer anything but silliness. For, those that feel the history of the Vikings is nothing to laugh about “Norseman” is not the show for you. Norseman, proves that even a conquering army that really stood for most of the things we stand against today can still be something to laugh about. Humor crosses the line as Norseman often does and that is why it’s refreshingly funny.
***
FOOTNOTE- I’ve only watched two episodes so who knows my line past humor might still be pulled and the remote control might have to save me from this Viking attack on funny. The remote appears to be coming out but at least the first few episodes were fun.
Father- A True Story For Too Many
He was a good father and a bad man to the outside world. My father was the picture of the perfect dad tender, loving, and caring little did I know another picture was being scene by the FBI. I guess he lead two different lives and only at the end with the gunfight did they come together in the violence that he supposedly controlled. It still doesn’t fit the image I’ve held on to all my life and the one I still keep. The evidence on paper will never overall the one in my heart.
FOOTNOTE- Criminals are often also parents and sometimes one doesn’t lead to the other.
Parent Instruction Book-Lesson One- A Personal Reflection
I’m writing this instruction book, not as one who has done it all right but as one who wants a do-over through Y-O-U . In other words, lessons learned way after they left the house. My first lesson is the four-letter word we never have enough of “time”. Spend double time using those devices on the side of the head before using the one that doesn’t want to stop giving advice. Hear not only the words but the expression that they bring. You might just find a whole different story to write.
Too Much Time On My Hands- A Personal Reflection
Usually, my feet and neurons are running but this is the one time of the year where there might be “too much time on my hands”. For, this is the time when 8 + streaming networks have nothing for more to watch longer than my attention span. This is also the time of the year when I feel I have so much to do but no place is open for me to do it. When one goes from running a marathon to suddenly stopping can anyone truly blame me? You can say it’s the ADD side of my brain and/or type A+ plus personality that is kicking on but I’ll say it’s just Christmas boredom.
Merry X-Mas- A Faith Perspective
I want to wish the world a very Merry X-Mas whether you are a follower of the faith or like me looking in. For, shouldn’t we all celebrate the innocent life of a child every day not only on December 25th? Furthermore, how about a child that through his teaching brought so much joy, love, forgiveness, faith, and purpose to the billion that follow? So may G-D bless all those who follow the faith especially on this special day of their calendar with happiness, peace, and love during this holiday season, and pass some on to those who are happy to look in as well. Merry X-Mas
Resistance- A Faith Perspective
It doesn’t stop one rope appears after another. Just as you appear to be pulling away from one battle a new more daunting one arrives. Joseph knew this better than others as he battled time and again. G-D knows the path but we are often lost and confused. Life isn’t easy so keep in shape mentally, physically, spiritually, as well as emotionally and G-D willing the resistance will pay off in your own royal sense of peace and success.
Many Colors- A Faith Perspective & Political View
For one to lead one must be able to wear a coat of many colors. The colors might appear very distinct and have their own pattern but the leader must be able to assemble them so they can continue to work together for the common good. This doesn’t mean that a leader might not lean toward one color vs the other it just means that they have to be able to see some beauty in all the shades. For in the end, G-D has produced all these cues and therefore in one sense beauty is in the eye of a good leader.
