Yes, your day and night are full even though many who keep you busy continue to pile work on you. Well, at least your boss gives you a full 24 hours off no matter what. Working for the big boss puts everything in perspective as you have only an atom’s worth space while thou has the entire universe. Your hours and days will end while there is no rest for the one who really is in charge. Yet as you trudge through another day it sort of can become overwhelming so take a moment and realize the heavenly mission you are on and the gates that await your journey.

I remember growing up and feeling a distance from my tribe as they kept putting us in the victim mode. Yes, we suffered from the greatest travesty in modern history the “Holocaust” but was that the identity we wanted to portray, especially in this country? No, I wanted to identify as a person who can conquer the hate where-ever it might come from and unify with my beloved country. The national anthem brought us all together whatever our stipes, struggles or history our peoples have gone through even if the path could be bumpy at times. I wonder my African American brothers look in this mirror too when the Black National Anthem is playing.
This could be the greatest Superbowl ad ever! This ad takes you to a place where no truck has gone before and has you uncomfortably laughing all the way. Taking a rip from other ads which sell another strong product without even mentioning the name this ad will stay in your head way after the big game. The only problem is having to explain it to your children.
You can have all the greatest plans in the world but once the time runs out so does the action. Life is like football where one must work all week long to prepare but when action is called on execute as if it was on the back of one’s hand. There might be a new season, but the dress rehearsal is over, and one has to get out there and do it better than what was written on chalk board. Yet even the greatest plans can change like the grip of the ball therefore one must realize that there is only one judge, and this clock is read by thee so just play the game until that clock runs out.
Will this Super Sunday be a message of family fun or something else? In other words will politics seep through the ads and entertainment and cause this game to have another fumble or will it start to go back to it’s roots and just play the damn game!! Who knows but I’ll be watching and if it goes too “woke” I and many other viewers will view slumberland instead. The SuperBowl let’s hope it’s Super again.
It might be on in the background but is it going through any ears? Yes, the ratings appear in the millions but those that are actually listening are in the thousands if that at all. The question then becomes is it better to have the viewers or those that actually really view? Should the ratings determine what is most popular or what actually influences the most? This is a hardest matrix to measure yet it is the one which advertisers should pay the most to listen too.
