I know there is no time machine I can use, but can you still pick M-E up? This is just another example of wanting the things I previously took for granted. As I pick Y-O-U and hold you in my arms, I’m jealous that this can’t be reciprocated in my current timeline. I also see history repeat itself as you appear reluctant to be held by M-E for too long. Yet trust M-E, the too long isn’t long enough when you realize this part of your timeline has ended. Another good reason to believe in reincarnation and see if this time I can get it right?
Work
I relax here because I earned it and am proud of that! While others around M-E might refrain from the “earning part,” I truly am thrilled about it!!! Some would rather just get a paycheck, but I want to know each penny (if still made) is earned by doing that extra lifting, even if those around me would rather nap. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to get some help, yet accomplishing something is usually the reward I truly seek, and I don’t understand why others don’t have this mindset in their mirrors.
Not Great At All
Abdul El-Sayed winning the Democratic nomination for Michigan’s Senate is just lousy!! Yes, Mr. President, it should be easier to defeat Abdul El-Sayed in a race against Mike Rogers, but to think we as a country had this “individual” nominated by one of our “great” parties is just disgusting. We have citizens who are either so uneducated or filled with envy that they want to elect an Anti-Semitic Socialist to represent their values. How could that be? We are not in some “great depression” that even then didn’t bring such despicable candidates to the forefront. How did we get here, and what can we do to stop its further spread? Good smiles/packaging and talking points shouldn’t cover up antisemitism and communism. Mr. President, as leader of this entire nation, Abdul El-Sayed’s nomination is just bad news for all of us decent Americans no matter what stripe we wear.
Big?
This is the way it’s supposed to look, but you’ve been holding on to M-E instead. You’re the one who came out later, yet I’m relying on you to save my day. Yes, I still handle some of the bigger tasks, but I have to admit the emotional needs are reversed. Sometimes life works out in a different order than what is expected, and that is the mirror we’ve been living through our entire lives.
Resolution
Everyone was casually speaking after the memorial for my father’s passing, but something compelled me to act in a whole different way. My mother came over to me, and I just gave her a hug; suddenly, tears that had been held back flowed down both our faces. It didn’t fully end the pain, but it changed it from “I’m sorry” to “it sucked,” and there was a resolution in that feeling that I wish I had let out earlier.
FOOTNOTE- Unfortunately, this came out in a dream which reversed life’s order.
What Y-O-U Want
I’m asking Y-O-U what you can do for yourself? You might think this is an easy question to answer, but to “truly” do so, you must peel back the influences of society, including family, friends, and the media. Trust me, it’s not easy because they’re glued to many of your neurons without you noticing. For example, look at the clothes that appear in your rack, the types of food in your pantry, even the job you have how much is truly what Y-O-U truly want, and how much has been influenced by others crowding your mirror? Understanding what is truly in your mind and soul will take time away from others and devices to seek the inner Y-O-U. Are you up for this journey, or will some influence tell you not to look?
FOOTNOTE- I’ve only starting searching in my own mirror within the last few months and am still distracted by the other that has already decided for me.
Two Worlds
While I try every way to walk away, you crush them. In other words, “avoidance” is my key, but yours is the slammed door. I tiptoe around, and you dive right into it. You almost get an “energy boost” from conflict while I tire out just thinking about it. Ying and Yang trust me don’t work with this formula. I know conflict is a part of life, but that doesn’t mean you have to press the accelerator while I try to press the brake, does it?
Don’t Wanna Go Home Tonight- Brings M-E- Music
” Don’t Wanna Go Home Tonight” by Three Days Grace brings me back to my roots. There is a vibe to this song that has me knocking at my old address on Laura Lane. I can’t match it yet, but even though the song is fairly new, it already feels like a classic. Maybe it’s about a toxic relationship that grew up with me, or just the tone; all I can write is “Don’t Wanna Go Home Tonight,” which has me reliving a past in a way I never expected a song to do.
Brand New Cherry Flavor- 100% ReBel
“Brand New Cherry Flavor” is 100% Rebel; now I have to determine if it’s a Bud? This is the most bizarre series I’ve seen in many a year. It has dark humor, horror, and characters that are oh so interesting. To pass the “Bud” test, it will have to continue to be enjoyable to watch and not become too gory for no “real purpose” and/or end in a flavor that doesn’t sit well in my neurons. So far, with episode 3 under my belt, Bud appears to be coming through, yet let’s wait till the Cherry on top to determine if it’s worth the whole dessert.
Boy George-Strange Bedfellows
Boy George has crossed the line into my support. Yes, we might have some differences that pull us apart, but what unites us is much more powerful. His brave stance for the only democracy in the Middle East (Israel) that is defending the world against Islamic extremism is incredible! He is willing to take on the haters who want to destroy him with the truth, and it is just awesome!! I also have to admit Karma Chameleon is sorta contagious in a good way.
