It is difficult to be kind when the individuals don’t  appreciate what you’re doing.  A perfect example is giving a  child medicine which we know will help them even as they would love to bite our fingers instead (figuratively and I hate to say it sometimes literally).  Yet with children we understand this responsibility but it becomes more difficult when it’s for an aging parent or even a friend.  For example they may say they don’t want to see anyone during a difficult time and/or don’t want to go outside but we know that deep down inside this would make them feel a whole lot better.  Difficult kindness can show your true heart even as it feels it’s being ripped apart.

I’m declaring myself an Illegal Alien today, for this body needs a  free one way ticket to Mexico about now. Pick me up ICE but give me a moment to pack my bathing suit and sun tan lotion. A matter of fact can you also make reservation at one of the 5 star resorts while you’re at. Imagine I won’t even have to wait to go through airline security as my private plane takes me away. When I finally had my vacation in Mexico I’ll have my lawyers explain the error but up until then I’m and Illegal Alien and paradise awaits brought to me by my friendly ICE officer.

The story can be slow and the action can be drawn out with so many holes never to be filled but one actress made me keep looking. Many a time I wanted to discontinue my viewing habit until Brit Marling compelled me not to.  Her ability to suck me back into the series by just her performance on this stage is something worth watching. From being blind, to being  able to see but  feeling more lost then before and finally a member of the Russian Elite all without missing a beat is something worth witnessing. Brit Marling is the reason I continued watching the O.A and the reason this series is something worth writing about.

Do I not exist!  Out there you would give me extra attention but in here it’s like I’m invisible!  I understand that the Gorilla’s and Bears are a  bit more active but if they took away this glass frame I would be as well. Look how big and strong I am that should interest you but no you want some dancing monkey instead.  I’m not worried though for someday when they don’t fully close this frame I’ll get the attention I deserve and an extra meal as well.

The Sabbath is a dichotomy of me for the rest of the week.  Let’s face it I’m usually not the type of person who slows down for even when I sleep I twist and turn yet Shabbos turns me into a whole different creature. I actually have time to deal with my deeper thoughts and those of others in a more timely way.  Feelings actually come alive during this period where in other time zones they are rushed through with other tasks pushed ahead instead.  It is time of not only smelling a rose but many roses.  Sabbath is a Dichotomy of who I am normally and I thank G-D it exist to be so.

I often try to push my limits in what I can do and what I can take but I drew my line in my teeth today. For I realized that I can take a punch physical and/or mentally but leave a crumb in my teeth and I crumble.  I can go without my phone, T.V. and air condition without complaining longer then most but without the length of a toothpick in my hand I will kvetch oh boy will I!  My mind can stay focused on a task as the world around me squishes me in but if that’s between my teeth that’s a whole different story. Many a line is drawn in the sand mine is drawn between my teeth.
