I am that bug that keeps biting you until hope is all lost. Where people’s betrayal adds up in your heart and soul as I finally take control. Whether it be that betrayal in a loving relationship which has turned to hate or another business deal where you have been stuck with the bill I’m there when you finally give up and submit.  Yet there is one force against me who will give hope in even the darkest of nights and it is brighter then anything I can portray.  My goal is to keep you focusing on the darkness so you’ll never see it again.

FOOTNOTE-   Life can lead us down to that bugs life or we can have G-D help crush it with us everytime it attempts to crawl on us.

ONE PERSPECTIVE–   I was only trying to do my job but it appeared he wanted me in a whole different position.     Jokes are fine but he should have realized that it crossed the line if not with my words then at least my expressions. To ask me to go out for drinks alone when I just met him made it obvious what he really was looking for. He made me feel as if I was a piece of meat that he would suddenly bump into with a hand or look in the wrong place. How can a woman get ahead with their talents when they are judged on other areas not in one’s resume?

DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE- I’m not going to say I didn’t like her and with her expressions I thought it was reciprocal. So I asked her out for a drink what’s the big deal! After that she assumed every touch or glance was meant to “get her” instead of just being friendly. To loosen the ice I tried to joke with her like any other colleague but it appeared every word I said was offensive.  She thinks she didn’t get the promotion because of what occurred between us but I honestly believe she needs to be less sensitive if she’s going to really move ahead in this organization.

I’m going to break up my families trip to Guatemala in different sections the first one is “THE JOURNERY”.

If you want to travel to Guatemala with a direct flight from the NY Metropolitan area then you must leave on Saturday which we did. I know it’s  not the most Kosher thing to do but I believe Rabbi we made it up in the story that follows… G-D willing.  I decided we should stay at a hotel near the airport because the morning departure was a bit too early for my family. The hotel was fun with a cocktail hour that included free drinks so I didn’t violate the Sabbath rule of spending monies although I must admit the plastic came in handy.  Some unexpected late arrivals and let’s say controversial topics made it a less then comfortable start for the next day.  Yet we all pulled together to a smooth travel to Guatemala. Initially my luggage appeared to be the only piece left in NJ or somewhere else United Airlines flies but was eventually found hiding off the turnstile. Thousands of would be fans looked across the street but we were only looking for our tour guide who somehow we found in the chaos. Our journey had just began as we were about to trek of a lifetime…..

COMING SOON- CLIMBING A LIVING VOLCANO

Let us decide to replace H-A-T-E with another 4 letter word L-O-V-E no matter what our political, religious or cultural differences might be.  .  We may have different ways to see life but as long as we embrace that same 4 letter word for us and all G-D’s children then that should be enough to unite is.  We can and should be able to express our own thoughts no matter how controversial they may appear to be.  Vehemently disagreagreements might occur on issues of faith or policy but let us build a bridge so we can live in peace and maybe a bit more understanding. An understanding that G-D willing  will tear down the wall of hate and replace it with love instead.

Danger comes with those who speak in bold words for they cover the garbage that really comes out.  Many will be fooled for they have a professional look and the oratory skills of a Prime Minister which appear so sophisticated, that it must be intellectually correct? Yet when one reads beneath their lines it is only the stuff you accidentally stepped on in the park that comes out.  Hate is hate whether it comes from a Professor or butchers mouth and even if it’s packaged differently we should  unwrap it and throw it away in our nearest dump.

Last week my mouth was finally zipped with only one word slowly coming out “hola”.  It wasn’t as if I didn’t have anything to say it was just that nobody understood me.  They would try to listen but when the language barrier occurs it’s thicker then any even the proposed Trump wall. Years of playing charades came alive in the real time.   Leaving me feeling more alone then normal and appreciating my loved one’s as well as even those that I didn’t particular like in the past. Language can truly bring us together or tear us apart.

I never realized how much influence the shows the United States broadcasts to the world impact the image  of a nation until I went to Guatemala.  For certain networks are played in a larger market and have a grandiose footprint  then others.  Whether it be shows with a direct hit to the left or one’s that keep that message a bit further under the radar the influence is there for the world to see. It’s honestly amazing that capitalism and the clergy survive at all on the world stage, with the constant berating which is often seen by the world viewer.   What will happen in the future if this drum beat keeps getting louder and louder is anyone’s guess but let’s add a bit more Bass just to make it interesting instead.

Let’s face it Megyn Kelly got fired for having a discussion. It was a discussion that was controversial and in which I would strongly disagree with her opinion on but which doesn’t neglect that it shouldn’t occur in the 1st place.  It is true that it would have been beneficial to have a more diverse panel in said discussion but was that her fault on the producer of the show? More importantly how are we ever going to break barriers when we keep putting up walls on what can and can’t be said in a public forum? For if one doesn’t say what they think openly out of fear that doesn’t mean they won’t say it in private with people that have a similar view. Which can only create greater divisions of mistrust and even hate.
