Rex Tillerson knew or if he read any tea leaves should have, that his days at the State Department were coming to an end.  He must have understood that President Trump isn’t the type of person who wants his cabinet to disagree with him in the public light as the former Secretary has done on many occasions. The tea was literally spilling by the time the President decided to meet with Kim Jung Un without consulting his Secretary of State. This should have been the time that Mr. Tillerson was handing in his resignation letter instead of continuing his trip to Africa.   Rex Tilllerson became too much of insider for an outsider President and Mr. Tillerson should have seen the door closing before the boot was kicking him out.

After years and years of trying to find why we often have conflicts I finally came to the conclusion you’re the “toast” and I’m the SPrEad.  You’re practical and plain while I’m a bit more daring and even crazy!  I like to make life fun and interesting but you constantly look at the bottom line with every performance.  I guess a spread must go on something but you should also realize toast is just to dry to eat alone.  Sometimes my spreads don’t work out but isn’t it more interesting to try for if one hits maybe we can even bring multi-grain flavor. Oh well it was worth a try.

It’s the 5th anniversary of “banned hugs” and is the world feeling any better?  Just to remind us of how we came to this important decision the “#MeToo Movement” was able to have the Supreme Court decide that hugging was a form of sexual harassment as Joan Beneath claimed that the hug she received was way to low and the court couldn’t find the exact spot where it would be acceptable to all.  Hugging is now banned on all public properties (with exemptions) and those seen performing the act have faced civil and criminal penalties even if it appeared to be consensual.  Let us look at the result of this decision (below).

(1) MORE ANIMAL ADOPTIONS– Hugging with dogs is still permissible in 48 states. California and NY are banning this form of “affection” it as well.

(2)  MALL VISITS & SHOPPING HAVE DECREASED RAPIDLY- Amazon might have been the impetus but who wants to lose their savings by an accidentally hug.

(3) INCREASE IN PETTY CRIMES –  It appears that if people can’t feel the affection in the public that they seek the attention other ways.

(4) HOTEL BUSINESS BOOMING – As the only industry exempt from this ban more people are spending extra time at these businesses.

(5) PSYCHIATRY CARE ON THE RISE-  Counseling of all forms is a rapidly growing business especially acting where self hugging is still permitted. 

This might just be the toothpaste that has me moving from my Dollar Tree habit.  If “Crest Gum Detoxify” actually improves my chances of less visits to the dentists then it’s worth every brush. This is the only toothpaste that I know which doesn’t just make your teeth shiny clean but helps the roots/gums which keep them in place.  Today my tooth and gums will learn the truth and tomorrow we will see if the dentist does as well.

WARNING- Don’t walk this Street!!!!

Can someone Please tell me how the hell to get off Sesame Street?!  This isn’t the street I was brought up to.  Do you where your children are it better not be Sesame Street after dark?!  Maybe it all happened when the Cookie Monster traded in his cookies for carrots or could the PC crowd pushed too far and took these street over the edge all I know is Sesame Street is more like Elm Street today and that is a nightmare.  How the hell do a get off this street and get back to civilized Fordham Road in the Bronx? Please someone help me before they stuff me!!!

FOOTNOTE- Don’t worry this isn’t a true story but if we don’t build a wall I’m not sure what characters will end up destroying this street in the future.

It was the storm that still leaves people in the cold but has kept me warm for over 25 years. Super Storm 1993 is also my 25th wedding anniversary and guess what a North East is coming back to town to re-live those memories. It isn’t expected to bring the devastation and in my case love of that special night but it should be a memory that holds true for another G-D willing  25 years to come.

WARNING- This post is offensive maybe even to me.

Tim Mcgraw collapses on stage during a performance in Ireland and I wonder due those who payed to see him perform get any refund or free tickets to his next concert?  Yes, I know it’s wrong I already wrote that but people paid for him to perform not to collapse and since thank G-D he’s okay shouldn’t these concert goer’s get some consideration?   Some legal team will exam the contract on the back of the ticket but if I was Mr. Mcgraw I’d return to the concert stage for a special free performance for such individuals with plenty of water on stage.

FOOTNOTE- If my concert performances were too booked to allow this to occur I’d sent out a letter with a special souvenir to all those who paid to see me perform instead of collapse.

Before you take that prescription to the pharmacy or go for a “deeper exam” evaluate the doctor that you have.

Is he the doctor that calls a common cold an upper respiratory infection as fears grip him with every breath. The nervous doctor might give a perfect healthy person the feel of having a heart attack but will make sure they are fully taken care even if you don’t need this much care.

Could your doctor be so laid back that he’ll make even those fit for a coffin feel they are over reacting. The Cool Doctor might be quite mellow under your stress but remember it’s your life on the line not his hairline.  Yes, it’s good to take everything one step at a time except when your health is skipping a step or 2.

Then there is the doctor looking at you as if you are an investment and how much $$ they can milk the insurance companies out of your visit. This doctor will look to perform test after test even though your results have been negative from the moment you walked in. They’ll give you a clean bill of health only after your wallet is cleaned.

Of course most doctors are honest, hard working individuals who look for the best medical care for their patients but a few lean to these profiles above.
