Today I heard one of the greatest live speeches that I probably have heard in my lifetime from an unusual source a hardware distributing company President. John Venhuizen President of Ace Hardware knew exactly where to put in all the nuts and bolts to make the type of speech which stays in your heart and soul. Mr. Venhuizen was able to weave personal experiences, humor, and even heartstrings into a speech that could have inspired an entire nation let alone a large group of hardware stores. What also was quite impressive was his ability to make sure that even the points that might appear a bit bland were drilled into one’s head with inspiration and even his unique form of modesty. If John Venhuizen decides to throw his hat in the political field he already has the speech to take him to the top.
