I was ready to have Al Franken take from the Senate House to the big house (see blog piece below) until Sean Hannity proved it all could be a big lousy joke. Sean Hannity used Al Frankin’s past remarks that he said in comedy skits to try to prove he was a pervert. Comedy give me a break is there any freedom of speech that is allowed anymore! I would just say that Al Franken’s jokes weren’t funny. For words in comedy skits or even words alone shouldn’t convict someone of an act. Of course this picture with Al Franken needs to be investigated further because it’s truly crossing the line into sexual harassment but I’m not sure how far it should take him down yet. For justice isn’t just about being blind to one’s looks but political persuasion as well, which means if someone should be considered innocent before proven guilty on the right then of course this must be true from the left as well. Thank you Sean Hannity for that clarification even if it’s completely opposite of the way you wanted me to take it.
