I went over the New Tappan Zee Bridge twice and the experience was breathtaking and smooth if only the named stayed the same.  I understand that Mario Cuomo was governor but the original bridge existed way before his time as they plan to tear this bridge down so why should the name be struck out of existence as if it never existed?  Why do we need to tear down history instead of add to it.  I’ve come to a solution that should please both sides  the bridge would be named the The New Tappan Zee Bridge when entering Rockland County and the Mario Cuomo Bridge when departing. This way history can be preserved as well as added to it as well.

We run in out of each other’s life’s as if the world is just a revolving door.  Sometimes it’s a simple greeting to a stranger other types it expands to an actual conversation yet in the end do we even have enough time to say goodbye?  In and out maybe it’s best because in the end we can’t marry the world or even be engaged.

The President should stay silent on the North Korean launch of missiles over Japan because sometimes silence can be more scary for a tyrant then words. It will create more fear in the heart of Kim Jung Un if President Trump says “we are exploring all options on our timetable” and nothing more. Of course our diplomatic core will expand on the sanctions already on his table but other actions he will never know where, when or how we will make a stand on.  Leave the cards in your hand Mr. President and G-D willing Kim Jung Un will learn it’s time to fold before any severe damage is done to him and his country.

Sometimes a loved must “step in it” to learn they will fall.  You can try to protect them all your life but until they take that step their ears and body might be closed to your advise.  A small fall might teach them that many times those with experience truly know where to walk and where they might fall.  Tough love is difficult but many will learn best from the ground looking up then walking through the clouds.

Last night an opposing view that was hard for me to accept helped  me bring new excitement a product that is currently in development.   For the viewpoint  took one of the basic concepts of this product and threw it into the unknown place but once I searched deeper it truly helped it find a bigger & better home. The truth is as hard as it is to listen to those with differing opinions on your beliefs, dreams and ideals it’s one of the key ingredients if you want it to be successful. If you are unwilling to be challenged while it’s still just words you might fall on your face when reality brings it to life. Challenging thoughts allow you to see your  vision and/or belief in a whole different light that if taken to heart can improve it so that the spotlight shines brighter for all to see.

North Korea leader Kim Jung Un must understand that his aggression will be met with a strong response yet on our timetable.  We will help our people in Texas and Louisiana regain their strength through Hurricane Harvey while we seek much stronger measures by the United Nations against this despotic regime. Yet more extreme punishments will occur when you least expect it unless you give us a reason to reconsider.

There are few times in one’s life where both sides are equally wrong for usually the pendulum swings more in either direction but that didn’t occur during my “break period” yesterday.  For looking back I should have locked the door  but she also should have done the knocking before entering my private domain.   No judge could have found either side more guilty and we both had a right to scream at each other.  The other solution therefore is to make sure we both change a bit otherwise the verdict and one’s embarrassment will clearly be on the person’s side.

Hurricane Harvey teaches us all lessons about survival and life as a whole. For as we watch the devastation that occurs to the 7th largest city in the United States and bordering cities it has to make you wonder whether you want to or not.

(1) ENJOY THE GOOD WEATHER- Take an extra moment in the sun or even light rain.

(2) BE PREPARED- Try and set a plan for you and your loved one’s if some devastating unpredictable event would occur.

(3)HURRICANE VACATION- Sometimes it’s time to get away and when a Hurricane or other natural disaster might be coming your way a vacation is called upon.

(4) THANK G-D – Harvey is just another example of why we have to thank G-D for every peaceful moment even if sometimes that peace might appear to be boring. Harvey might appear exciting for a moment but it’s devastation is no fun at all.
